What's not to love about good Nashville chicken I say. They are located in a spacious shopping center with ample parking so when the craving hits just drive on over. Their hip graffiti walls and neon lights makes this a fun stop for a quick bite or snack. I love how there's a spice level for everyone. Whether you want no spice, medium, mild or extremely hot. Once you place your order at the counter, you're given a pager as you patiently wait for your chicken. On this visit I had their mini medium spiced chicken sliders and yummy fries and a drink. I was not looking for a meal but I just wanted a spicy snack to tide me over and it really hit the spot. First time in yesterday and I throughly enjoyed my meal. 5 stars. Chicken portions were rather huge and filled my empty stomach. Nice and juicy tenders very hot and fresh. Plenty of pickles on the side plus they included some sauce. Reasonable price for a good meal. Art is cool inside yall have to check it out. Everything is made to order, so it takes a little while for the food to be prepared. Be patient. All four of us enjoyed our meals-and it was a lot of food that required leftover boxes. Two of us ordered the hotter version of the chicken...but not THE spiciest (which we will try next time because we didn't have our faces blown off...and we like that kind of thing). I would give it zero stars if I could. The chicken sandwiches were soggy and unrecognizable, the coleslaw was drowning in juice...or at least that's what I thought it was. The interior is weird with all of the art on the wall, and a meal for a family of five was $97! read more

As a huge Nashville chicken fan and a regular visitor of at least once a year to Nashville I HAD to check this place out. Better late than never, right? And wow this was good. The atmosphere was AWESOME! Cool graffiti on the walls and huge neon lights outside. You can't miss it / it actually draws you to want to check out the place. Service was good. You basically order at the counter and then when the food is ready a pager goes off and you grab it. I got the #4. A chicken sandwich with fries and a Dr Pepper. I got medium but next time I actually would get hot bc there wasn't much spice. But I basically inhaled it bc it was so good. I'll be going here more often. No ands, ifs or buts about it! It's served by a carnival-like assortment of disenfranchised franchise workers. They DO NOT care if you like what's happening here or not. After waiting 20 minutes while watching a slew of the fattest customers imaginable, I finally received my single "hot" tender. FYI - The difference between a slider and a tender is that the slider IS a tender, just on a bun with some pickles and mayo/ketchup (Dave's Sauce). They take your number and call you when it's ready. They ask for a tip at the register before providing service. There's clearly a reason they don't ask for it after your experience here. If you don't mind abandoning your dignity in the parking lot and waiting for subpar, slow fastfood.... Dave's Hot Chicken is the place is for you. Life is too short to waste on this. Don't come here. The restaurant in Queensbury is modern and clean. Previously I've seen the line out the door, but lucky us there was only two people in a party ahead of us. We placed our orders for 3 orders of sliders and fries then stepped aside to wait. And wait. And wait. 32 minutes from the time stamp on the receipt until our order was ready. That's ridiculous for "fast food" in a place that wasn't swamped. The chicken was good, but honestly Popeyes, KFC and Chick-Fil-A make a sandwich that's as good. It's fast food not fine dining pal. I thought that the crinkle cut fries were awesome, both the seasoning and "doneness". The chicken was also great. Small serving? Meh- it's a big chicken tender and it was cooked perfect. Medium hot was not hot at all, really, I'll step it up a level or 2 next time- there are something like 7 levels of heat you can pick. We picked the 2 sliders, fries and a drink combo with an extra drink and it was plenty for my wife and I. (Honestly we could have shared the drink because of the free refills.) Service was a tad slow- you're given a beeper while you wait but the other side to that is food is clearly made to order. Ambiance is pretty cool. The walls are painted in bright graffiti style pics and colors done by an artist- so that's pretty cool- and they play old school pop and rock music through the PA. The chicken is good, and the fries are good too, if you can get them to your mouth before they are cold. Something I haven't yet achieved with takeout ordering. I've ordered from this place 4-5 times and every time the order was wrong. No extras in any of the orders, even though some people ordered them, extra meals - must have been someone else's that got packaged wrong? Not sure, but totally unacceptable for the price. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that they'll iron out their service/staffing issues eventually. The food itself is good. The chicken is crispy and good quality white meat. The fries are crispy and not overly seasoned. The problem that would earn them a 1 star if it were not for the food and the fact that they just opened is the service there is a mess. Both times we ordered from there, it took FOREVER for the food to come out. First time there, we ordered at the counter and waited 45 minutes. Next time we ordered online, got there when the app said food would be ready, was told they didn't have our order and couldn't find it. Upon looking further they found it in the system but it had not been prepared. So waited another 30 minutes. Yes they were understaffed, yes they were dealing with many irate customers. No it isn't the staff's fault that they don't have enough people. Hence the 3 stars. Hopefully they can figure it out. read more
