    Dry ass (un)Seasoned Fries

Usually have no problem with this place, but the last TWO times I've ordered from this place I've not only gotten the wrong extra sauce that i payed for (bought a honey mustard & got blue cheese last time. This time i got ranch) but these last two times I've also NOT received my fries well done OR the lemon pepper on my fries. Instead of getting lemon pepper on my fries i get absolutely no seasoning. Not even fry seasoning. Dry fries. I will not be returning to this location. I'll go to the location near Albany if i want proper service. Pretty sad this is what this location is coming to because they JUST opened.

Absolutely awful service. Waited more than an hour. Awful vibe. Food was mid. People had been waiting for 2 hours

The bar was loud, with many enjoying drinks, but we wanted a dinner where we could chat. The hostess was not happy when we told her we were not going to sit there. A reservation for dining we learned did not automatically mean we would be seated in the dining room. Finally she agreed to see what she could do as we waited outside. After a few minutes our table was ready in the dining room. The dining room that was at best half full, with many tables available. We had a very nice waitress who was busy but yet able to be attentive to us. We ordered drinks, all very good, including my mojito. Ordered our appetizers, a flatbread and the fried beans. Very good. And then we waited and waited for our entrees to arrive. Ordered another round of drinks. Finally they arrived, the sliced steak entree ordered by 3 of us, was very good. The chicken sandwich good, but the lobster roll was short on lobster, with many almost ground pieces. $42 ridiculous, better lobster rolls at Hannaford. This was once one of our favorite restaurants in town, even going back to the previous owner. Doubt we will be back soon with many of the options now in Glens Falls.

Located inside the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge / Indoor Waterpark where we were staying, this was a convenient meal for us before hitting the road back to Long Island. Our last time to this hotel, there was a Johnny Rockets in this space, and they also have Tall Tales Tavern right near the lobby, which is pretty solid. Our server, Hannah, was incredible! She was sweet and patient from start to finish, answering questions about the food, and even bringing out a flight of sauces for us to decide how we wanted to have our wings! I wasn't expecting them to have a Bavarian pretzel on the menu but after seeing it come out a few times to adjacent tables and its sheer size, we snagged one as well! The kids menu was very reasonable, and all the food was great! Thanks for a great visit!

Cavernous, warm and humid, with a Miami Vice color scheme (but where the day-glo orange seating fits into that?) was somewhat disappointing - it shouted bland. But hey that's how I would describe the staff in the forest green shirts and the food. Don't get me wrong, the staff was friendly but clearly uninspired-maybe the fact that it was hot and humid outside and felt the same inside was weighing them down too. Drinks menu and beer selection were impressive. Menu was basically bar food with a nod to spicy. We ordered nachos ands steak burger. Apparently the intention is eating with your hands. We had to ask several times for utensils and plates. Good size portion of nachos topped with beans in a chili sauce, mystery melted cheese, jalapeños and chewy chips - it was there, we ate it and all you could say was it was okay. Ditto the bland burger on a plain bun with a little pile of standard fries - one bite and it was meh. Being in a tourist area the need to impress probably doesn't matter; there's always another new customer - at least during the season. $50 for nachos, burger, soda and beer.

What was once one of our go-to spots has become a repeated disappointment. I want to be clear that the front-of-house service has always been excellent. One of the longtime managers, who has been there as long as I've lived in the area, is consistently friendly, outgoing, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately, great customer service can only do so much when the food quality continues to suffer. We've received credits multiple times for poor-quality orders, but at this point, we no longer want credits--we simply won't be ordering again. Our most recent order was the final straw. The pizza crust was extremely soggy, likely from sitting too long while other items were being prepared. The toppings slid right off when we picked up a slice. The calzone was leaking greasy liquid, and the marinara sauce, which I once raved about, was acidic, bland, and lacking the flavor it used to have. After discussing it as a family, we all agreed that the food has become consistently bland, low-quality, and unappetizing. It's frustrating to spend $30-$50 on dinner for a family of three only to regret the purchase every time. I genuinely believe better training, stronger oversight, and a renewed focus on quality could make a significant difference. It's disappointing because Amores used to serve consistently great food. As a longtime local customer, I'm saddened to see how far the quality has fallen.
