Oh my moo, the food is absolutely outstanding! There are so many different choices and different dishes to choose from. The staff is always friendly and caring. When you go enough times, they remember you and remember your drink. Plenty of parking and plenty of room inside for multiple groups. Everytime, we go its always busy. The food is always fresh and hot. If you are handicapped, like me, they can accommodate you. The best part is the price of everything! Sadly, this spot is going downhill. Our recent visit found the food to be cold. They have some tasty dishes Chicken wings, egg rolls and pot stickers but when they are cold not so much. Their General Tso's Chicken is chicken in a sweet sauce with no heat or fresh Broccoli. My wife and I really use to enjoy our meals there. The service is good and the taste of the food is usually good, but there is definitely room for improvement. The negatives: Some of the food is quite often cool to barely warm making it unpalatable; Steam trays are not kept hot enough. That is my chief complaint. Overall we had a nice meal here. We arrived just after opening and the food was hot and fresh. Everything I got tasted good and as expected. Plates, cups, table, and silverware were clean. Buffet area seemed clean. Used plates were taken away promptly and drinks refilled as soon as they got low. The decor could use a good dusting and the buffet tables desperately need updating, but I can overlook that as long as the meal is good and food surfaces are clean. I do think it was a little on the pricey side - $17.99 each for the weekend lunch buffet. I did not see any items (such as crab legs or beef dishes) that would justify such a high price. Mediocre at best. It was surprisingly busy on a Saturday evening. Right as we walked in there was a section of the restaurant blocked off and it looked like it was being used as a family room. Food was alright, decent selection but most of it was lukewarm and overly salty. The dessert table was literally filled with little Debbie snack cakes. Staff was nice and efficient with the soda refills and clearing plates but the place needs an overhaul. The carpet was disgusting and the tables were rickety. I came to Lake George with family and we unfortunately chose 9 Dragons as our lunch spot. As we were being seated we kindly asked our server if we can take a look around at the food first prior to deciding on staying, she VERY very kindly said "No the food's not out yet, it'll be another couple minutes, are you going to do the buffet or not?" well, so much for the "nice staff" mentioned in prior reviews. On that same note, I've never been to a buffet where there's literally no food ready, besides the bad attitude and lack of food; The place isn't really well kept. The grass outside could definitely use a landscaping consultation, and there are very obvious stains on the walls around the restaurant. Finally after waiting almost 15 minutes after they opened to get food, we went and grabbed a few things. The only reason I'm even giving 2 stars is because the food was okay, at the end of the day it's buffet food, so it won't knock your socks off but it certainly did the job for the time being. Highlight of this meal was that they have Oreos, Samoas, and even Tagalongs available for dessert. Definitely a first, never coming back here again though and I will be advising others to steer clear. P.S. Don't just plant the check on a table while a table is still eating, you're just telling the table to leave when you do that. read more

Much of the food that should have been hot was lukewarm or COLD. At one of the food stations, I dropped a noodle from soup onto counter & waitress was ready to fling it back into pot & when she caught me looking than she threw it away. I was in this place about 20 yrs. ago & nothing has been updater, same old chairs, dirty carpets. Food very low quality (cheap) grade. Found this place through Yelp and glad we chose it. Good selection of Chinese food, friendly and attentive wait staff, spacious place (plenty of social distancing) at a reasonable price point! The only thing lacking was from fish in the menu but they did have squid and mussels. I will start by saying the service was above par, fast and friendly. I was also impressed by staff efforts to keep things tidy. The atmosphere is typical Americanized Chinese restaurant and it's clear it was either built to be some other large facility or with an eye on serving a massive hungry crowd. We arrived around 7pm - there were 10-15 people there. We had been under the impression that you could order from a menu but it appears it's buffet only - $12.99 for lunch and $17.99 for dinner. The giant untouched bowls of Jello were the first tell that this might not be great. Odd selection of seafood salad, cucumber slices, oranges and shrimp on one buffet. Soups, sweet and sour pork, ribs, wings, various chicken offerings, spring rolls etc. on another. Pepper steak, Lo Mein, clams, mussels in black bean sauce, etc. on buffet #3. Number 4 was California rolls et al. Rounding it out was a "dessert" buffet of unwrapped Little Debbie offerings and Kebbler Fudge Striped cookies - or store brand versions of such. Pretty typical fare. The hot and sour soup had a slick mouth feel that was off putting. I was unable to finish the egg roll with a lukewarm goo center. Tried the ribs - dry, chewy and cold. Flavorless teriyaki chicken was also barely warm as was the lo mein. Tried a dab of this-piece of that and it was all the same - flavorless and barely warm. Had to gracefully as possible remove the California Roll from my mouth as something was off. Figured the fried dough(personal favorite as it reminds me of beignets and New Orleans) would be a safe bet. *Sigh* - raw dough in the center. Thought I was just being super judgmental until two guys walked in, asked if they could take a look at the buffet, the hostess said sure. They walked back, took one looked at the fare, turned around and walked out. Maybe it's better at lunch, assuming that it's all freshly prepared, but the volume of food tends to make me think it's probably something that's reheated day-to-day. The other odd thing - we each went to the buffet stations three times. When we returned to our table our used plates had been removed. No doubt they noticed my plates were largely untouched. After trip three as my husband was still eating, the wait staff brought the check with the requisite fortune cookies and said something like, "you go now" with a big smile. What if we wanted to eat more? It wasn't even close to closing time. Other people who were there when we arrived weren't being hustled out the door. This place is still my all time favorite buffet in Saratoga. Great menu choices and great waitresses who treat you like family. You will never run out of drinks or have plates sitting on your table when your done eating. Their prices are good. And I've been to many different buffets from lake George all the way down to Albany, and I can honestly say there isn't anyone better than them. In general, I'm not a big fan of buffet restaurants. When I was a kid, I was all over the buffet situation...but not so much anymore. That said, I was invited to a large group luncheon yesterday - it's actually an annual pilgrimage for this group and they have a great space in the back for larger parties. The food was actually decent - I stuck with mostly the "sushi" varieties: a combination of cooked/tempura rolls and california rolls. I did try the steamed pork dumplings and the mussels; dumplings were just OK and the mussels were a bit chewy. The variety of other dishes was vast - lots of fried stuff and plenty of saucy choices as well. Everything looked very fresh and well-kept-up-with. Staff that I encountered were friendly and attentive. I didn't grab any dessert but I did see a nice fresh fruit selection and some chocolate-thingies (that looked like "little debbies" from the store). When we got in it was friendly. I had a group of 4 teenagers and there was a little toddler greeting everyone. We loved that. We were seated. The food seemed mostly fresh at the food part. Plenty of food options. When it came to dessert it was very disappointing. Little Debbie's Swiss rolls, nutter butter bars. Stuff like that. And a freezer of tubs of ice cream. The fortune cookies were so stale one was actually squishy. Rubbery. The BILL. $86 for 5 people. Lunch time. Absolutely not impressed. They also added in some 10% for a tip which is fine but just watch the bill. I added some more to give her a tip according to the balance and such but it was not worth the money. If you're into Asian buffet dining, this is one of the better ones. The food is consistently good and is rarely greasy. I would recommend the usual standard fare such as the chicken teriyaki, pork fried rice, chicken fingers, spring rolls, and the chicken and broccoli. The egg rolls are average at best. The salad choices are limited but there are medium size peal and eat shrimp. Personally, I'd skip the desert except for the ice cream. Mostly just out of the package items there. We live in the neighborhood and overall this buffet has improved. I will say to be wary if you prefer a late lunch. We had intended to arrive by 2:15 which is well before their 3:30 dinner transition, but there was a traffic problem by Northway Plaza. We got to the restaurant around 2:35. I'm a fairly slow eater and I don't like to waste food so I take small portions and by 3:15 I hadn't even gotten to dessert. First I was scolded because I almost grabbed a "dinner" item from the buffet and then I was asked at least 3 times if I was done eating and if not I should get what I want and bring it to the table because at 3:30 I could not go to the buffet again! I don't take much food each time and again, I'm a slow eater. I felt like a child who was scolded for bad behavior and I certainly did not feel welcome. read more

Being a tourist area it was quiet. It's clean and everyone was very friendly. We got the dinner buffet at 3p which was $14.99 per person. You got hot tea and/or Pepsi products. Whenever someone at the table finished with their plate it didn't stay on our table for more than a minute, very quick service. They had a decent sushi bar and typical Chinese buffet foods. Whenever someone left they were very quick on cleaning up: sweeping, wiping the table, and the seats. Our waitress kept checking on us.
