It is small place in a strip mall with a sushi bar and several tables. I was greeted and seated quickly. I noticed a lot of people picking up take-out orders. My server greeted me warmly, and service was attentive. So many menu options, but I finally decided on the nigiri sushi appetizer and Pad Thai with Shrimp. The sushi fish was fresh, generously sized, and succulent. The Pad Thai filled the plate. The texture of the noodles was just right, not mushy. The dish had at least 7-8 medium shrimp and was accented with slices of red onion, lime wedge, and chopped peanuts. Although I prefer a less-sweet sauce, I'd still say the dish was quite good. The sushi and entrees I saw at other tables also looked good and customers appeared to be enjoying their meals too. If I lived in the area, I am sure I would be a repeat customer at Osaka Asian Fusion.

When we come up we eat out A LOT. This place filled a need for fast, delicious food that doesn't taste like fast food! The first few times we got the fried chicken. First of all, the breast is the size of my HEAD and I got three meals from it! The chicken is perfectly crispy and double batter fried to perfection. You can pick from one of about a dozen sauces on the side, all of which are home made (I love the garlic Parmesan!). We were a little skeptical of the hibachi (we're from Long Island and I'm very picky about Chinese food) but tried the gyoza and they were excellent. Slightly crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned. My chicken rice bowl was delicious. The rice is nice and dry, not a soggy mushy clump like you find in some places. It was lightly seasoned with a little onion, salt, and pepper. It reminded me of the homemade fried rice my college roommate from Queens used to make all the time. The chicken was diced into bite sized chunks and again...lightly seasoned. It wasn't swimming in sauce or loaded with salt. It was perfect. The broccoli was still crispy and steamed to perfection. I could only eat half. My boyfriend prefers the noodle bowls to the rice and said it was excellent; finished every bite! The service is great, both young ladies at the counter are friendly and knowledgeable about the food. We are thrilled they are here!
