The hotdogs with meat sauce with a side of cheese sauce. The starry was good the dr. Pepper was also good. It's cool the root beer is in bottles. Great up north diner. Service was extremely friendly and fast. There is a long countertop for service, and several booths. We chose to set it a booth, although the counter is very popular. I ordered their classic dirt dog with the works. It's a nice meaty sauce and comes with mustard and chopped onion. Delicious. I accompanied it with onion rings, which were some of the best I've ever eaten. Ever. My husband got the 6 ounce sirloin burger on a hard roll. The burger was very good, although the bun tasted slightly stale. Got the french fries which were very, very good and hot. The spot to go to when Lake George is not in season and you want that fill you up breakfast for a great price. Couldn't have asked for better pancakes. Large in size, soaks up the syrup I dump on it, and easy to clean the plate. I at first didn't order eggs but happy I did, they came out HOT! Not that hot to warm you typically get because they sat on the plate for two minutes before being brought to your table. Sausage was cooked to perfection. Came to this place because of the reviews and was a little disappointed. Was looking forward to tasting the dirt sauce but there was so little sauce that you couldn't tell that there was any on my dogs. Hopefully this is not the norm and if I am in the area again I will give it another chance. I'm used to having sauces run down my chin, arm, fingers and into mt fries. The fries were great. I have been visiting the Warrensburgh location for probably five or six years and tell anyone who will listen to go!!! I found it on my way to a local and other well established butcher up the road during family vacations to Lake George. My family sleeps late, im up early, so until the last few years it was my secret breakfast spot...but no more!!! If we dont go twice during our stay i hear it...and dont worry about what you order, just fire away. Definitely do get the hot dog though even as an appetizer at 8am if ready i promise you wont be disappointed. read more

Friends burger was average - don't think it was fresh - likely frozen. Waited a long while for our food, then a while after we ate our meals for waitress again. Thank you to the New Way Lunch for one of the best sandwiches and likely the best BLT I have ever been served. Crispy crispy B with the fattest wedges of L, much more satisfying than a single leaf, and pale and refreshing T in half inch slices. Perfectly toasted on rye with the caraway seeds and an appropriate spread of mayonnaise. Not to mention Kettle chips with an insane crunch and luxurious amount of saltiness. Amiable enough lunch counter place, that was very prompt on a busy day, but the world-famous (?) hot dogs came up quite a bit short. Maybe it's just me but a little bland meat sauce on a food service hot dog isn't quite making it to Olympian levels. Coffee was burned and tepid and not refilled, so points off. Physician bikers had suggested this place in our last trip through. We got the last booth in this 4th generation family owned business. They are known for their hotdogs!
