The place was hopping, yet the service never missed a beat. Our waiter was an absolute rock star--super attentive, friendly, and on top of everything without ever hovering. He made the whole experience feel effortless. Now, the food... holy cow. I went with the ribeye and it was tremendous--perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were just as impressive: those roasted carrots were sweet and tender with a great herb taste, the Brussels sprouts were next-level and addictive, and the cornbread was warm, moist, and honestly one of the best I've ever had, whatever that butter was that was served with it, amazing. My wife tried a bite of the fillet and literally said, "This is one of the best steaks I've ever eaten." She wasn't exaggerating. Everything was cooked with care and came out hot and fresh. My wife and one of our friends chose the open-faced Reuben, and the last member of our group ordered the club sandwich. Every dish was excellent. The club sandwich was so large it required a to-go box. Before leaving, everyone except me ordered pie to go-- Fava's pies are legendary, at least to my wife and me. I skipped dessert this time and immediately regretted missing their ice cream options. We dropped the pies off in the car (it was cold enough outside to keep them safe), and then the ladies headed off to explore the shops of Georgetown.
