Games were fun but the service was poor and there was this foul smell at the bar. It smelled REALLY horrible.

D&B's is a good place to spend a couple of hours--and more than a couple of dollars! There are games for all ages, including a decent variety of games that take more than a few seconds to play. The place is expensive; don't expect a $29 play card to last more than an hour. Fortunately, games are half price on Wednesday, which helps stretch the budget a bit. My 10-year-old son and I have been pleased with prize selection and quality. So far, he's won a small desk aquarium, a mini pool table, and an electric guitar, and all have worked fine. The restaurant food is decent quality, and service is usually pretty quick. Prices are comparable to other chain restaurants. read more

Just ate at the Dave and Busters in Springfield, VA. I will NEVER return! First, we stood in line to wait to be seated. No one was at there to seat us. I had to go find a staff member who said someone will be with you. No one was. I flagged down someone else who said he will see if he has room. He came back and seated us. We sat at our table for a long time before a waiter even greeted us. He eventually took our drink order then disappeared. He returned after a lengthy time and forgot a drink. That didnt come for another 20 minutes! We ordered our food and game cards. He brought the cards back but we waited at LEAST 30 min for our food. When the food finally arrived, EVERYTHING WAS COLD!! My cheesesteak sandwich and the fries were cold and turned dark and crusty. The bread was so hard and stale I couldn't even eat it. I took my fork and scooped out some meat that wasnt stone cold on the inside to eat it. Oh gee, and all 6 of our plates were at $18.00 or more a pop with game tickets included. $18.00 for that cold crap?? The total was $170!! Outrageous for such crappy food and service. NEVER AGAIN. And dont me started on the filth in the bathroom. None of the toilets would flush. They were full of urine and toliet paper and the smell of urine was so overwhelming it took my breath away. Only 1 soap dispenser and one paper towel dispenser working. Just disgusting. The whole place is disgusting! Dont waste your time folks. Minus 5 Rating!! read more

One of the worst experiences at a restaurant and the management just added insult to injury. A few friends and I came here on a Tuesday night the place was not crowded at all. We all ordered drinks and the drink took 40 minutes come out and when I told the manager how long it took he says "are you sure I could have made this drink myself" and I said yes I'm positive and it's not even very crowded he then replied "well we're slammed here and I have a lot going on so heres your drink". We then receive our food which comes out cold and also takes about an hour... eventually the second manager comes over and we tell him what has been happening and he give us 60 chips which he should have comped some of the food or drinks. After eating we go to play game and i see they have 2-3 bartenders and an almost empty dining room and not crowded bar so idk how they were so slammed.. do yourself a favor and just avoid this place. read more

We had had a lot if fun it was a bit packed but I figured it because they just opened up out food came out in a good time considering the how many people were in there. The bartender I believe her name was aden made some great drink and great to talk too very friendly. So was our waiter Jordan who knew the menu very well made it easy to pick our meals which was the lobster (sauce) pasta n steak which was tender. My fiancée steak at first over cooked but it was replaced with a much better cooked steak thanks to management. Nice Friday night spot will be back play some of the games. read more

Service was terrible...took over 45 minutes to get our food... then only two plates came out for a party of 9... we sat at two tables side by side... our waitress kept disappearing... and when she cane back always forgot something or disappeared... I ate my entire before my fries came out... received one drink refill the entire hour and a half we were there... then I was charged additional after the fact for a difference of fries on my meal... for the amount of money I spent last night celebrating a birthday... not so interested in going back... at least not for dinner.. read more

If Dave & Buster's didn't have such awesome games I literally would not come here. The majority of the staff is rude and unhelpful. The self-seating dining area is chaos and tables are never cleared in an appropriate amount of time. I don't recommend this location. read more

D&B's food menu- it's needs a tune up and everything is too salty. Farm to table- clean foods? I like Yards instead.

First time actually dining in and playing the games in this location. The service was good, our waitress was very nice and friendly but she did forget to bring out my appetizer. The food was very good my friends and I all had burgers and they were all very good. The games are fun and reasonably priced. Finding parking on the weekend is stressful so be ready for that and you might have to wait a while for a table also. read more

Horrible food and over priced. I only gave it two stars because we got a groupon for group of six to play all blue light games for $55 which was a good deal but all the fun games were not the blue light games lol. Kids had a great time we ended up giving the kids all our tickets. read more

Getting a seat took less than expected but the service was very slow. Took about 25 minutes for our server to even come talk to us, took longer to get our drinks. We ended up just walking away from the table. It was busy but it seemed like our server wasn't interested in serving us because he definitely kept walking to the table next to us. I've been to this location 4 times in the past year. I can't say that they provide great service but it is good enough. The last time I went, however, was a disaster. I had been two weeks prior and bought a card from my server. I didn't empty the card by any stretch because I played roughly 4 games. When I went to the customer service desk to reload the card for my latest visit I was told that the card was not found. I asked the young lady working the desk how that could be possible and told me that my card had never been activated but I could pay $2 to activate it to pay to reload the points. I explained to her that that couldn't be true and I wanted to use the points and card I had already paid for and she replied that I must've transferred the balance. I told her I hadn't (didn't even know that was an option) but she proceeded to look past me to the next person in line. So I got her attention again to ask for a hotline I could call to resolve this. She looked around for a bit then found the number on the back of the card and handed it back to me. I had to ask her for my phone back though because at this point she actually was helping someone else. I called the 1-800 number on the back of the card and entire the prompts only to find that the line was closed. I walked down to the bar to join my party vowing that since no one could help me I just wouldn't spend my money there at all. A friend offered to split what was on her card so we proceeded back upstairs to try to have that done. They were unable to split the points on the card (at this point I'm not surprised). Then I say, quite annoyed, do you have a manager that can help us? He just so happens to walk out at that moment and I explain what I had now explained to two other employees. Immediately he takes the card and says let me look up all the transactions. He comes back in about five minutes having loaded more points onto the card. I don't know what he found when he went to look it up but the entire ordeal was maddening. After this we had to wait to be noticed by a server to have our table cleaned even after asking two other servers to help us. I won't be back to this location. read more

Ive never left a review before. Felt this time I should. It did take 1 hr 45 min to be seated. We checked in at 6:24. On a saturday we did expect a wait, but we also did notice our table was cleared and ready 15 minutes before we were seated. It sat empty for literally 15 minutes. When we had asked when we noticed, we were not so nicely told by the hostess without eye contact that we were next on the list. When I tried to talk to the manager on what we encountered, I was cut short with "well it is a saturday night." I had more to say but didnt. Our server took our 11 party order minus mine, I asked him to come back to me. He never did, hurried off. One of our party saw him 10 minutes later at the bar and went to him to give him my order (Im on crutches). Our party got their food 40 minutes later, with exception of mine. There were no water, tea or soda refills but a couple alcoholic drinks were served. My food, the last order to come out was 10 minutes after everyone else was DONE with theirs. My burger was good though. Others got slider combos and the sauces and "pieces" were left off, one slider plate was with burnt sliders. The manager did bring 2 replacement slider plates. Another server came to help split checks in the end and they didnt charge for my burger. In the 2 hours at the table I had to ask twice for a tea refill that I didn't get until after a 3rd time from another person. I ate my meal alone with nothing to drink. The manager seemed bothered if not annoyed with our comments. The Head of servers, Chappie, was amazing though. As amazing as she was, we definitely will not be going back. From the time we checked in to the unorganized hostess stand to the time we signed our checks was 4 hours and 11 minutes. Everyone was so exhausted, we walked out with an uncut birthday cake. We had contact with 3 hostess staff, 3 food runners, 1 manager, 1 server and the head of server staff. Our server was nice, when he came to our table but all in all, it was the head of servers that kept this from a 100% disaster. We'll leave this one as Dave and Bust. read more

I'm here on a Saturday night seated at a dining table that I've been sitting at for 45min without even a waiter asking if we wanted anything to drink. Then to top it off the couple that sat after us has their food and drinks. I had to ask for a manager 3x before one came and then the manager simply said my apologies and went to get us some water. I'm never coming here again and this was a waste of my money. There's a ridiculous amount of hostesses and they're all just having a ball while the customers are miserable in the dining area. This is a very unaccommodating establishment. After calling ahead to make reservations and being told that they do not take reservations. We came in and waited for 2 and a half hours only to find out that they called our name for our party incorrectly 3 times. When we asked to move to a larger table because more members arrived for our birthday party we were told it would take another hour. They didn't apologize for calling our name incorrectly. The service was not satisfactory... When I have to ask for ketchup because you give me an empty bottle, it's a problem. If you serve me alcohol without water, it does not help to keep drinking without hydrating... And when you call it a Mai Tai, at least let it taste like one? The food was awhhhh, the games for the kids is the only thing working out for the current time. Inexperienced servers, bar in your kitchen needs improvement, and turn the freaggin music down a bit... Considering how popular this place has been, I think that they have done the best they could with their staff. Obviously, they need more, the service is a little slow, however, the food was great for typical bar food type menu. They always have a coupon for something - which I love a good coupon. The games were very fun, different than I have seen in other restaurants. It was clean and the bathrooms were as well. Once the craziness of the new town center dies down, I think it will be a more enjoyable experience. read more

I agree with the other guests that there should be a curfew for kids 18 & younger, I would even suggest under 21. Dave & busters is supposed to be an adult place. Also I saw many kids unsupervised last night and one even ran right into me. Dave & busters does have a house policy that children under 18 or 21 must be escorted by someone 25 or older. read more

Came here with my family (wife and 2 kids) around lunch time on Monday the 29th. We came for my sons 11th birthday so he could get the endless wings and all you can play. I never usually write reviews but my wife and I were just blown away with how awesome our server, Markel, was. He was very attentive and super genuine. Before my son could finish his first round of wings he was there to see if another order should be put in. He was friendly, not awkward at all (like some servers you may encounter), and also offered us an all day play pass for our son to use when he learned it was his birthday. He even offered/gave us some wings to go! Little did he know we are going through a bit of a rough spot financially and that those wings would save us some money for a meal later on (unfortunately, every little bit counts right now). Markel, you're the man! And, you made this day just that much more special. We'll be coming back soon! read more

Waitress was a rude lady , she had a nasty attitude. The other waiter that was a guy, took 10 min to give us our drinks . He didn't check on us or offer dessert etc. When we got to a table it wasn't cleared off it took forever for them to clear it . read more

Staff at the main desk when we came in was wonderful. The restaurant service is abysmal - unbelievably slow. Servers were friendly, but seemed totally clueless about the fact that it took him 20 minutes to even bring drinks. We'll come again to play, but will eat elsewhere next time! read more

Food wise, I definitely recommend go somewhere else like Yard House or Chuys. The last time I ate at D&B I had a short rib sandwich topped with mac and cheese and a side of tots. The entire thing was cold and flavorless. I sent it back and got an order of corndogs instead which weren't bad but the server never adjusted the bill and at that point I was just ready to leave. Every time I've been here the service, at least by severs not bartenders has been pretty bad. As for alcohol and a place to have a good time, it's pretty fun. Me and my friends like to come here on Wednesday which is half price game night. It can get a little crowded which is annoying especially when there's kids climbing on everything at 10 at night but overall it's not too bad. read more

Last night my girlfriend and I stopped into this Dave and Buster's location to grab a quick bite and watch the Capital's game, and honestly I have to say that this was some of the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. Our server Joel took his sweet time getting over to us to take our drink order and then would disappear for a long periods at a time. A couple occasions we had to ask another server to go find our waiter so we could place our food order or get another drink or even pay the check. In fact, we were ready to leave at 8:23 PM and our waiter didn't show back up to deliver the check until 9:00 PM. I could understand if they were busy, but they were not, our server only had two other tables beside us, also I could normally see our server over by the bar chatting with other servers. I can honestly say that I will never be back to this location ever again, and I'm almost certain that I won't be back at any Dave and Busters. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Where do I begin, do not go there to eat, the appetizers so so, and the main course was awful, the bacon wrapped shrimp came with raw bacon, and the steak was so tough you could almost not chew it. the only good thing about the meal was the side dishes, the potatoes and corn were good. Yesterday was my first visit to this ive heard so many good things about, upon going down the stairs I was dumbfounded by the vast amounts of children running around and playing the games like this is Chuck E. Cheese. I though this was supposed to be an adult hang out with games. Horrible experience. Waiter was extremely rude and continued to talk us out of things we wanted to order. By the time we finished going through the whole menu, with the waiter's opinion that we didn't ask for, the only thing left on the menu was water and ice. Instead of apologizing for the wait he continued to blame everything else. When we talked to the manager the only he said was "oh that's too bad." Didn't even get an apology. If you want to go somewhere to have fun, don't go here. I'd rather play the games in mall and eat the food out of the vending machine than eat here. We waited over an hour for a table, but it was okay because we played games during that time. Once we finally got a table it took a server about 20 minutes to get to us, that was annoying. The manager "Tony" needs training on how to manage a business. We went to celebrate a birthday and the party grew from 15 to 20 people. The manager refused to give us an additional table and said it was reserved. I asked how do you reserve a table and he replied that they did not do reservations. When I tried to reason with him pointing out the number of clients we were bringing to the business he said "I don't care about the number". Meaning he could care less about business. Of course because he doesn't own the place. Also,the AC was broken and it was super hot. After all, Terry the other manager worked with the group and found us an xtra table. Our server Nicolas was great he tried to do everything humanly possible to serve the group of 25; however, the ticket of our food was lost and they never provided the food. Epic fail! Might be good for groups of 5 or less. read more

Went here for the first time and it was great. Bar had extremely quick service for as crowded as it was both on a Friday and Saturday Night. Props to Cedric and Al the two bartenders were great. Definitely will be going back in the future. read more

I went to D&B on May 14 with my family and was excited to go, this was our first trip to D&B Springfield, VA and will be my last. We got there at 6:20 with a party of 7. It took about 20 minutes to get table (not bad on a Sat with 7 peeps) However, the fast table seating was the only good part. BAD Once seated it took 15 minutes and a verbal complaint to get a waiter Drinks took and apps took 40 minutes to arrive (I SHIT YOU NOT) Food another 20 after that Waitress never checked on us. only to deliver and bring the check and oh yeah apologize about the wait. The manager DID comp our appetizers which was very gracious of him. GAMES OMG there was like 100 10 year old running around without supervision. For a place that touts its self as the adult arcade they need some rules and guidelines. Doesn't the one in MD make kids under a certain age leave by 10pm? If so, not at this one that is for sure. It was so hot as balls inside this D&B. I thought I was going to pass out. I even asked someone about why the air condition was not on and they just said "I know, it's so warm in here." Would leave zero stars if allowed! Not sure why I keep coming here...I keep thinking that it will get better next time only if never does. I won't be fooled again - don't waste your time. There is always a wait even though I can clearly see at least five open and clean tables. When I point them out I always get agitated and snarky responses from the staff. Getting service is nearly impossible because they are always extremely under staffed. Everything is dirty and sticky - feels like a third world country. Food is over priced and microwaved from frozen - the only flavor comes from the bottled ketchup at each table covered in grime. The game coin cost to token win ratio is atrocious and the ticket prices are gouging you even more. Avoid at all costs. read more

I'm srry to say this but due to all the blinking lights and high volume from the TVs, I wouldn't last not even 5 minutes here, plus I thought this was for ADULTS not for CHILDREN!!!! Yes this is a great idea, but not for me. Mayb I'm one o those individuals that enjoys more o the quite library type o entertainment. Plus ur restrooms need to b checked on every 15-30 minutes, not every hour. YUK!!!! read more
