I visited Glam with a group of 8 and the experience was memorable! We booked the same night for a reservation at 10pm. We did come a bit late, but they were gracious enough to still give us the room we booked. Glam has two options: the old school karaoke way by punching in numbers from a book and now YouTube premium. If you go the old school way, note that you'll be scored. We all don't know how the scoring system works but based on experience I believe it's based on how interactive everyone in the room is / how many voices are singing... just a theory! Drinks and food are a reasonable price and beer is always great if you're trying to let loose at a karaoke bar. Pricing for the room itself is great compared to other spots near DC. Rented a room for $200 for about 4 hours of singing they have a tablet set up in the room where you can search songs on YouTube to sing karaoke. We ordered a soju mango pitcher and some tator tots, let me say the soju pitcher tasted so good and it was mixed well you couldn't really taste the alcohol . We LOVED this place. Me and my friend had been dying to do some karaoke for a long while and this is the first place we ever went to. I will admit that it took a little while to figure out the commands on the tablet and how to select songs. It's completely in Korean but you can switch the country of origin for the songs and the language used on the keyboard. We're big kpop nerds and having every song imaginable at our fingertips was awesome. I can't believe we had voices the next day. We didn't get food this time but their menu looked good with an expansive menu. The staff was all awesome and the vibes are perfect. Cannot recommend this place enough. This is a new karaoke bar located to the right and behind Gom Shabu in Annadale. Being new everything looked clean and the service at the bar was great. I didn't go to the karaoke rooms but I assume it's hard to compare a new place to other establishments that have been worn down. Maybe one day I'll go try out the rooms and I'll be able to give them the final star. I did order some bar food and I really enjoyed the sausage plate. I come here regularly, maybe too regularly, but it's a really great bar with a chill vibe. Staff is friendly, through and through. If you want to sing karaoke, this is one of the best places to do it, or if you just want to drink, then that's great here too. Sometimes they have open mic karaoke, but nothing set in stone at the moment, and they've started bringing in DJs on Fridays, which is fun, but it does get loud. Food wise, definitely try the bulgogi sliders, messy but to die for. I love the wings, and if you just want carbs, get the shrimp pasta. The sheer amount of pasta they give you is crazy, I can't finish it myself. All the food is good, so you can't really go wrong with whatever you pick. I've visited a couple of times but the manager and staff were all very nice! I love the yogurt soju mix they have and it's very English friendly for those who aren't used to using the Korean control keyboards. They even have a call service bell which you can ring if you need the staff for any questions or issues! Me and my friends decided to try this place out a couple weeks ago. We had a reserved room for one hour but ended up staying for two. It was super fun! The only issue we ran into was that the WiFi kept cutting out and the karaoke used YouTube with ads, which was very annoying. I would suggest purchasing a premium plan or using a browser with built in YouTube ad block so your guests not using the built in system don't have to waste their time with unskippable ads. There was a full bar and fun drink options. When we left the bar was really crowded and seemed like a happening place. Of course it's expensive but it's a special occasion venue, so that's understandable. And there is free water for guests in the lobby area. I would love to come back-- I just think the YouTube suggestion is very important for those using that as the platform of choice. I don't want the secret of how fun and cool this place is to get out -- but Glam Karaoke delivers the freshest, sleekest, and most fun karaoke experience in Annandale (which is to say, in the entire DMV). They're brand-new (just opened this weekend, March 2022). We entered to find a hip scene inside with a neon-lit bar, great music, and K-pop videos projected onto the wall. I *love* karaoke - and in my opinion, the mark of a great karaoke spot is found in the sound equipment, the variety of available songs, and the quality of the music/backing tracks. I was thrilled to discover that Glam Karaoke delivers on all fronts. They had an EXCELLENT selection of music - with tons of really new hits (think Billie Eilish and Megan Thee Stallion). Not only was it easy to find songs our group wanted to sing - there were so many we got excited about. The best part was the music quality - these were solid karaoke versions of each song (no crappy "midi" versions), and most had backup vocals and sounded pretty damn close to the actual song. I thought the prices were very reasonable. Our group of 3 requested a small room (which was small but easily would have fit 4 people), and it was $40 an hour. The cocktails and beer were affordable too, at about $8. One of the employees said that if you buy a liquor bottle, you get free unlimited karaoke - which sounds like a great deal. I was impressed with the COVID precautions and the microphones had slip covers. The only *sort* of challenging part was navigating the remote to enter/search/select songs, which was mostly in Korean. No one in our group knows Korean so it took some trial and error - even after the employee kindly showed us how to enter our songs. My friends and I had a great time celebrating! It was fun. However SCAM ALERT don't order a double drink it's definitely a scam! The strength of the alcoholic beverage was maybe half (and that's being generous) -- small glass, all ice, flat soda, very little rum, and no prices anywhere PLUS get this - they were reusing our glasses!! We definitely got the same glasses when another round of drinks came. That's unsanitary. Don't bother complaining, they won't let you leave until you pay their outrageous prices! $24 for a "double" rum and Coke!!! What the!! I came here yesterday with a group of friends and was shocked at how this establishment was ran. There was a long haired chick (think her name was Bella?) and just saw her screaming at her coworkers and being super rude and nasty. She seemed to be complaining the whole night. I came here before and was always treated with such great care from all the others bartenders. I usually see a girl named Yubi on Saturdays, but she seemed to have been replaced by another girl (which was super sweet) but after witnessing the girl with long hair being super rude to not only her coworkers, but to the customers as well. Glam karaoke was the only place in the annandale/springfield area that we called that would accommodate our group even though one of our members was under 21. Sometimes you just want to sing late at night without drinking, how hard is that? (Time was around 1030 PM) Some of the members in our party did want to drink though so we just had to go outside the karaoke room to take shots. Their strawberry yakult drink was delicious! The workers are very kind and the ambience was very chill.
