I was very have with the service I received today. I had a problem with my PC not matter what o typed it would work. So I brought my PC in today to have it checked out to find that in fact my keyboard was bad. They helped to my car with my PC and helped me with a used Keyboard. Then on top of this they said it didn't cost me anything because I was there last week and it only took least then 3 minutes to find the problem. They are very friendly and helpful. So this was my experience, I dropped my computer off and told them that the CPU is getting hot and its causing my computer to run poorly and even shutdown. They hold on to my device for about two weeks. Half way into that time they told me they weren't sure what the issue was, and it was nothing mechanical. Finally after two weeks they call back and say oh yeah it was the CPU we replaced the fan and it runs fine. We will fix it for 300 dollars, expensive but that also includes an antivirus.... So in summary, I directed them straight to the issue, it took two weeks and I did not want to pay the ridiculous price so I didn't even get my machine fixed. Place must exist solely to prey on the elderly. I would advise to stay away. EDIT: In reply to his response they did not offer a significant discount. He actually committed to one price on the phone but it was significantly higher when I went to pay and pick up the device at the store. read more

Long time customer and just had an amazing experience. I had a key pop off my keyboard on my laptop. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and fortunately Joe was working with no other customers in the shop. He was kind enough to take five minutes and help me get the key back into the keyboard, computer is as good as new. Really appreciate the customer service. I have always had a Datadoctors. read more

Horrible experience I have never had worse service from any other form of buissness. They said they could could fix up my computer and remove any viruses for about $200 which was okay but when I go to pick it up the bill spiked to $500 which I told them was unreasonable but that what their price somehow came out to be which is half the price of the damn computer. Then when I got home the computer was running WORSE the screen now freezes and has to be moved to a certain position, also has random pop ups, and runs even slower. Wish I took it somewhere else because now I need a whole new computer and it was running okay just a bit slow. Would never recommend this place to ANYONE. read more

I posted a one star review yesterday, somehow it disappeared. Curious how that happened. My husband brought my computer in to be updated as I'm in Data Doctors monthly program. So we hear nothing about it until my husband stops to pick it up yesterday. It isn't there! They gave my computer away to some unknown lady who happens into the store. Obviously they never asked for ID! So overnight I have no clue where my computer is, or if I'll ever see it and all my private information again! Today we hear it was returned, I'm grateful for that, and yet all they say is a quick apology and send my husband home. Poor customer service for sure. I doubt I can ever trust this company again. These guys are awesome!! My external hard drive crashed and of course I hadn't made a backup. My local data recovery service dithered around for two weeks, said they couldn't recover the data, then charged me $120. Contrariwise, Joe at Data Doctors took my drive in, told me up front what the charges would be, and sent it off to the lab. I paid for the standard service, which would get the drive back to me in two weeks. Not only did the lab keep me informed of their progress every step of the way, they sent the new drive much sooner than I had expected (over a holiday weekend, no less). Plus - they paid to ship it to me!! It's a long haul from Sedona to Scottsdale, but well worth it. I'm 100% satisfied. read more

Completely blown away by the top-notch service, expertise, patience, and kindness I received from Joe at Data Doctors!!! First time using a computer repair service. Pretty clueless when it comes to computers. Wasn't sure what the problem was with my laptop, where to go, or what I needed. Unbelievably skilled and helpful! Joe and Michael went out of their way to make sure my computer was working and that I was happy with the results. This repair was anything but easy! Replacing the motherboard turned into a nightmare! I purchased a new motherboard from an online site (Newegg. That was the start of the problems.) Without going into detail on that fiasco, Michael & Joe worked with me all along the way to get this computer working. I appreciate their talents in getting the problems solved. This place is the best. Been going to them for about 5 yrs now. Always the price they quote from the start. This most recent time they quoted a fan at 59$ but was actually 79$ so they took 20$ off the service end. Still what they told me up front and quality of work outstanding. I have been to this location two times now. I believe that Michael and Joe are the main technicians here. The first time they repaired my computer because it was infested with viruses. I was very satisfied with their service and their price. The computer was working perfectly for a very long time. I just returned with the computer recently because it would not power up. I suspected a power supply failure. Fortunately it was just a loose power connection. They repaired it quickly and for a very reasonable price. These guys are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, patient and most importantly honest. I will return to this location any time I have a computer issue. Drove by this location for years never knowing what it was about until I needed to have someone take a look at an older computer that I was not using much but would in the near future. Joe (and Mike) were very helpful as to options, explaining things in language I understood and quick, efficient service. Computer now works great - wish I had done this a long time ago. About three years ago Joe was able to rescue all of the files from my laptop that had crashed and could not be repaired. He transferred them to a new Lenovo laptop he was selling at the time and did not charge for the transfer. Yesterday I telephoned him, for the first time since then, about a problem I was having with Google Mail malfunctioning when I tried to access my email contacts. He gave me an appointment to come in this morning to see if the problem could be solved "as a professional courtesy" (i.e., free of charge). So this morning Michael spent about a half hour to both diagnose and fix the problem (yes, for free), taking the time to give me many helpful explanations and tips along the way. On my way out he wished me a good day--I responded that he'd already made it a great one. read more

I signed up for the monthly Quality Care Plan last year rather than spending a yearly amount on security software and their updates. I'm pleased that I have this repair and/or tune up service to maintain my laptop at it's optimal efficiency. I wanted to get the word out about Data Doctors to everyone who needs help maintaining their computers. I purchased an annual maintenance contract with this store at Tatum and Thunderbird and I've been so grateful that I did. I've had issues a few times that I couldn't resolve. Joe has been so helpful and patient helping me several times. The latest problem happened when I downloaded the latest Windows 10 update. When it finished processing, it looked to me like I had lost all my data files. I was in such a panic. When I took the laptop to Joe, he assured me he would do everything possible to restore all my files but it might take a couple of days. Even as complicated as the resolution was, Joe called me the very next day to say my laptop was ready to go with all my files restored. I was amazed he did this so quickly. When I picked the laptop up, Joe explained to me what went wrong and answered all my questions with patience and empathy. What could have been a terrible experience turned out great and didn't cost me one cent. The maintenance contract is worth more than what I pay for it and that contract, along with Joe's expertise, give me terrific peace of mind.
