AARON IS THE BEST! I highly recommend him for your computer needs--especially when it comes to any viruses or malware. This was my experience: I work from home as a writer/editor/social media marketer, so my computer is vital to my business. A few nights ago I had a pop-up stating that it had been infiltrated with malware, and that I needed to call a number immediately. Me, being an idiot, DID call (to anyone who this happens to, DO NOT CALL THAT NUMBER), and reached a man who claimed to be "Windows Support." I soon realized (AFTER I'd given him remote access to my computer to "clear the malware") that it was a scam, and I was terrified that my information had been stolen/viruses and malware were in my system. I called Aaron the next morning and he immediately scheduled me, and stated if I wanted him to put an antivirus on my computer, he would do so. He calmed me and sounded very confident and assuring, and I felt so much better immediately. I met him at a nearby Safeway (he works from home) and gave him the Norton antivirus code (his recommended program) and he said he'd have it completed in a few hours. Aaron called me that afternoon promptly to say that everything looked good, that he had scanned and found no malware, and had installed the Norton. He had quoted me for 1-2 hours at $60 an hour (very reasonable, I called another company and their price was that PLUS travel fees). He said he would never go over $120, even if it took him longer, and for this job it ended up just being the $60. VERY reasonable for my peace of mind, Aaron's kindness, promptness and assistance with scanning my computer for viruses and installing the antivirus. He sat with me in Safeway when I retrieved my computer and gave me lots of tips on how to run my computer more efficiently, which browser to use, useful ad-blockers, and even emailed me that evening with his recommended plug-ins. AFTER I'd paid him already, he was still emailing me tips and even texted me to see how everything was going! Even better, my dad was afraid my bank account information might've been compromised so I texted Aaron the next day to ask his opinion and he called me immediately, detailing his advice and expertise on the topic, urging me to call him if I had ANY other questions or issues anytime. By far the best guy to contact with any computer needs, and especially if you are worried about something like viruses, malware or compromised info. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

Aaron responded to my request quickly and talked me through a potential solution on the phone as we were having difficulty coordinating schedules for him to come to my home and resolve the issue (I was the issue with scheduling a time). Anyway, Aaron proposed a solution over the phone that ended up resolving my issue after I'd spent several hours trying to figure out in my own at no charge. Seems like a person that genuinely just wants to help people. Great person, knowledgeable and friendly way of relating comes through in any interaction with him. Next time anything comes up, I'll be sure to give him a call! read more

What a great guy! Rather than taking my money, which she certainly could have, he was kind enough to ask some questions over the phone and help me fix the speed problem on my PC with no charge. I will definitely use him again in the future, if I ever need an IT expert in the local area! read more

Aaron was great, very responsive. I had an issue with my printer and scanner, and he suggested a solution over the phone. He said he would be happy to come out and look at it, but he thought he could avoid charging me a service call if I first tried his solution. It worked. Very honest guy. I will definitely use him on any issue that arise in the future read more

May I repeat - AARON IS THE BEST! Every great thing said about him in the reviews is absolutely true. I was trying to set up a new computer myself and had so many glitches that I checked Yelp and decided to call Aaron. I cancelled the first appointment we made, then had to call him back and reschedule, then I decided I'd purchased the wrong computer. He, patiently, asked me questions and made a suggestion based on what I needed and where I could get the best price. The new install took longer than planned, but he stuck it out and added extra education concerning the way I was using and backing up my iPhone (much appreciated). Having to set up a new computer turned out to be a great experience. Very knowledgeable, prompt, and honest. 5 stars aren't really enough. read more

Thank you Aaron. I needed prompt and effective service and you totally delivered. This is your contact!

I just called Aaron in a state of crisis. My computer was frozen and I did everything in my skill set to fix it. He told me he was not entirely familiar with the virtual machine I have installed on my Mac, but asked me to try a couple of things to fix it. He had it fixed and running again in five minutes. I really appreciate him. He was efficient and professional. I will use him in the future! read more

Aaron helped me do something I couldn't do on my own -- transfer music from my iPod to my computer. It was surprisingly complicated and involved downloading software. But Aaron was persistent and saw that it got done right. He helped walk me through any issues I might encounter down the road. He was prompt and professional. Very pleased and would definitely use Aaron again for any of my computer/software issues. His rates are very reasonable. Strongly recommend him! read more

I was searching for a computer guy knowledgeable on dual platforms. I have both a Mac and a PC to deal with and Aaron is the REAL deal. He is so knowledgeable and researches extra things after he leaves to provide even further service. He handled my printer, modem, router, and the computers when Cox and HP could not get the wireless printing to stay working. He have us so many tips to write down and refer to that have actually saved me a lot of money. He right away explained why the brand new $160 combo router and modem would be problematic. Saved me money and now it all works great. I recommend this guy. I have referred him to others who have called me raving. I have him on speed dial and he's my first call for computer related issues. He's reasonably priced and well worth his fees. read more

We are so happy with Aaron Stein's work. We had blue screens on our computer almost daily. Once it got the blue screen it needed to be shut down. It can be a serious computer problem I am told. I looked at the yelp review's and decided to try Aaron. I am so happy we did. We discussed what was happening and he was very nice and helpful. When I finally decided to get it fixed he came over and picked up the laptop. He reloaded the Windows software taking it back to the original factory settings and we have not had a blue screen crash or any problems since. He gave us the Windows discs in case something happens in the future and we want to work on it ourselves. I wish we had not waited so long to repair it. He had it done in one day! Aaron called the next day to make sure it was working well still. He seems to want to make sure everything is great with it. His price was very reasonable and we don't have to buy a new computer. We will use him next time we have an issue and we highly recommend him. read more

I was in town and my computer froze up before I had to give a big presentation. A friend recommended Aaron and he was a life-saver. He showed up, and untangled the mess I had created on my hard-drive. The best part was that he was patient with me, answering all my questions, and before he left he made sure I understood how not to get into the same mess again. He's passionate about what he does and it shows in the customer service I received. If you have a problem, I would highly recommend him. read more

TOP NOTCH!!! Aaron helped me on last minute notice and pulled through on saving my computer when some jackasses at a store wanted several hundred bucks to bla bla bla and insert computer jargon bla bla. He quickly worked his magic and charged me about 1/5 of the price of the repair shop and was courteous and extremely professional. I have since used his services 2 times and each time he has exceeded my expectations. He even walked me through a training session to get bettter acquainted with a software that will be vital to my business. I will definitely pass his name along to others. thanks! read more

I had a laptop that was giving me fits. I have used the computer repair stores in the past and was tired of them. When I first saw Aaron's site I have to admit I was a little wary that I wasn't going to take my computer to him. It's the norm, but doesn't really mean you can trust the work. I can say I'm not worried at all now. He came and worked on the laptop and certainly got some more life out if it. He also made some very good suggestions on what I needed to do on my own. I can say I won't hesitate to use him again if I need to. He did made a follow-up call the next day to see if everything was working okay. read more
