I stopped by with my family today while visiting the area after reading some yelp reviews. I wanted something different than a tourist trap with a $20 burger. This was definitely a great spot with the friendliest people and really cool diner decor. The Coca Cola antiques and booths gave the Route 66 vibe and the menu was really unique. We all ordered Thai dishes except for my kid who got the chicken tenders and fries. The burgers, wings and other menu items with diner options was really cool and based on trying some of the tenders and fries, I'm sure those are great. The Thai dishes had great presentation and flavors were great. I will definitely be back next time visiting the area. read more

This has diner decor (black and white tile floor, coke signs, and bright red booth seats) and an ice cream section. The menu is 3/4 Thai food with a good selection. The rest is diner food. I got chicken satay and red curry beef with a Thai iced tea. The chicken satay was so tender! The peanut sauce and cucumber sauce were spot on. The beef was chewy but the curry was amazing. I terms of flavor, this might be my favorite Thai restaurant! I got a lot of curry with a good mix of vegetables and meat. The satay looked small but there are 4 substantial pieces of chicken. My unadventurous companion tried the chicken and the tea. The chicken was a hit! He ordered the cheeseburger and seemed to like it. It's a half-pound burger so it's huge. There were a lot of fries and, when I snagged one, it was great. The service was good. Our server was also doing to go orders, but another server checked on us. We were offered boxes to take home leftovers twice, but we're traveling. They do have restrooms (only for paying customers). It's a small dining room. They do a lot of to go orders and even have online ordering. I might do that if we had somewhere to eat it. Their presentation was only okay. Food was great though! We were the first ones to arrive for dinner. Service was quick and friendly. Kept our drinks full and asked if we were okay few times during our visit. The perfect place for lunch or dinner! While on spring break, my little family came here for dinner because we all love Thai food. The shumai (fried) were so delicious my kid ordered more. I ordered the Data curry & cashew cashew nut, both of which came with rice. The ambiance is very casual & full of Americana. We were hesitant at first but after reading reviews we gave it a shot and it was great I ordered the pad king sod spicy and it was great spicy and perfect amount of vegetables. My husband ordered the beef teriyaki and well he had more carrots than beef so next time we will ask for less carrots. read more

Spring Roll 6.9/10 (mixed vegetable ,rice noodle,chcken and shrimp wrapped in a rice paper roll) - I didn't mean to order these lol. I was going for more of a crispy fried spring roll. Still smacked for being majority veggies. My mom couldn't tell if it was tofu or chicken on the inside which was totally fair. We were in Williams for the Grand Canyon Train. Our hotel was walking distance and this was the only international cuisine we found with good reviews. The interior is like a diner but definitely gives this place warmth and charm. It seems that it is run by a husband & wife. You can see her cooking everything from scratch in the back and he is ensuring the table service & front of house is all taken care of. Half of the dishes we ordered had alterations due to dietary restriction and they made sure everything was taken care of. I myself was a little nervous, but when the food came out I was blown away. The food is still very good. We opted for pineapple fried rice, calamari pad Thai and our daughter, chicken. We all loved our food and we were waited on swiftly. The calamari was not super fresh, but what do you expect where we are in Arizona? Flavors are great, i ordered a 4 but they gave me extra pepper to enhance the flavor. My daughter got chocolate ice cream, they indulged her by adding extra whip cream. You could not make a child much happier. read more

We pulled into the town of Williams, AZ around 7pm after spending all day at the Grand Canyon. We were tired and hungry. Being Asian, we gravitated towards Dara Thai Twisters for dinner. They were were very short staffed that day and the restaurant was full of people with only 1 server, so unfortunately the service was very slow. The waitress was extremely nice and was apologetic about the slow service. Food was just mediocre, not horrible, but coming from California, I've had much better Thai food. The Pad Thai and Pad Bai Kaprow were the 2 best tasting dishes out of everything that we ordered (Pineapple Fried Rice, Red Curry, Yum Yai). For drinks we had Thai Iced Tea and Tiger Milk Tea. The Red Curry needed stronger flavor and the Thai Iced Tea was pretty bland as well (watered down). It was disappointing that they didn't offer Thai Papaya Salad, but I'm guessing it's pretty difficult to purchase green papaya and some of the traditional Thai ingredients/spices in this part of the state. The outside of the restaurant and inside decor definitely fits Route 66, but nothing about the decor points to the Thai Culture. Overall, if you are looking for some sort of Asian food, this is as close as you are going to get in Williams, AZ. read more

Honest 2 stars. We asked for mango boba and a water with no ice, and a water with ice. We received a water with ice and a boba no ice. No biggie we thought but the boba was funky. We asked and the server said it's because there's no ice we explained that it was the water with no ice. He replied that he'll talk to the manager to see what he could do. Luckily he brought a new one with ice however the boba was still not prepared correctly and turned to mush. Our dinner arrived and the plates were still wet. And the silverware was still greasy from somewhere. The vegetables in the Pad Rhad Prik tasted fresh but was bland overall. The Evil Jungle Princess was just ok for being a standout dish on the menu. Anyone giving more than 3 stars would not change their rating if it were a IHOP or a diner or a muffler shop. Prepare for the mundane. read more

This is quite literally the worst Thai food I've ever seen or had. It was so bad that two of us tried a couple of bites of the two items we ordered and left the remaining food (I've never ever done that at any restaurant in the past). We ordered Tom Kha soup. From the look of it, it didn't look right. This is one of favorite soups and I've had it at every Thai restaurant I've ever been to, without exception. So I ordered here as well. It was brown in color. I don't know how a coconut milk soup looks brown! Then, I couldn't make out what the spices were but the combination was just unbearable. We had two spoons of each and left the remaining food. The other item was Spicy Noodles. This is supposed to be flat rice noodles with vegetables and spices. First, they used the same noodles as Pad Thai and then the vegetables on it looked like they were never put on a pan. There was not a single sign of cooking on the bell peppers, onions or carrots. this restaurant gave the best service i have ever received in my life. We came here to celebrate my sisters birthday. all the food we ordered was delicious and actually spicy. my fav is the panang curry of course. the server came to check up on us often to see if everything was okay, if we needed more drinks and listened to all our requests. the place inside is lovely with a retro vibe to it. but the lady serving us was the most thoughtful and kindest server ever. We told her that it was my sisters birthday and if they had icecream for my sister.my dad said that only for my sister was okay, we weren't trying to get free icecream for everyone. the server said they had icecream and what flavor would my sister like? chocolate, oreo, vanilla, strawberry cheesecake or green tea. my sister said green tea. then the server came in with a HUGE bowl for all of us. she said "so we could all have some" she did not have to do that. we all proceeded to sing happy birthday to my sister, initiated by the server, definitely making her birthday very memorable. the server was an amazing woman. the restaurant looks family owned with her kids helping out to clean up tables after. it just shows how extremely hardworking this establishment is and they deserve all the blessings that come their way. read more

Great food although the flavors aren't what I am typically used to at a Thai restaurant it seems to have a bit of a Chinese fusion. Location is a bit sad, it looks a little rundown and could definitely use some improvements in decorations as half the building looks like a warehouse/abandoned store. There were two kids who looked like middle schoolers taking orders. They were playing and pointing middle fingers at each other, hesitating to decide who was going to take our order. It was very unprofessional. The food was also made very slowly. We ordered three dishes and waited for almost half an hour for the food to come out, while no other customers were in the restaurant except for us. The food doesn't taste as good as other Thai restaurants I've tried before, either too sour or too sweet, and very overpriced. Don't recommend bc of the bad service, poor taste and slow cooking speed. There are many other good thai restaurants, so don't waste your time and money on this one. read more
