Surprisingly great Thai food in an old american diner aesthetic! Rating 9/10. Price for 5ppl $120 after tip. Pros: Close to authentic Thai missing some ingredients, polite staff and one member can speak Thai, good location with parking and a shop inside if you needed. Cons: None read more

Delicious Thai Cuisine in William AZ I was craving Asian food during my road trip, and this restaurant definitely satisfied that craving. They served decent Thai food, and I was impressed by their effort to maintain authentic Thai flavors. Considering it can be challenging to source certain Asian ingredients in this area, I appreciate that they still put in the effort to recreate the familiar Thai taste. It was a pleasant surprise and a great option when you're looking for Asian food while traveling. Tom Ka (5/5 ) - tasty creamy soup! The spice is on the note! Som Tum (Papaya salad) (5/5 ) - very good papaya salad. It's reminded me of the papaya salad I had in Thailand. Iykyk- they probably shredded the papaya by hand with a knife instead of using a peeler. Panang curry (3.5/5 ) - decent curry. On a salty side. Pad Woo sen (4/5 ) - pretty good pad woo sen (glass noodle). Lots of veggies with it. read more

Five stars just for the Dara Curry with pork, 4-heat -- absolutely delicious! DW, who is not much of a fan of Thai food, found her Pad Thai passable, slightly dry. Luncheonette atmosphere, friendly staff. I would definitely go back... but stag. read more

I stopped by with my family today while visiting the area after reading some yelp reviews. I wanted something different than a tourist trap with a $20 burger. This was definitely a great spot with the friendliest people and really cool diner decor. The Coca Cola antiques and booths gave the Route 66 vibe and the menu was really unique. We all ordered Thai dishes except for my kid who got the chicken tenders and fries. The burgers, wings and other menu items with diner options was really cool and based on trying some of the tenders and fries, I'm sure those are great. The Thai dishes had great presentation and flavors were great. I will definitely be back next time visiting the area. read more

Solid Thai spot that took over a 50's Diner. Very random but very delicious. Kids liked the burger/chicken tenders (fries were great too). Spicy Noodles and Panang Thai were delicious. Would definitely come back. read more

Larb salad and Pad thai most wonderful. Family owned and operated. I will bback soon.

This has diner decor (black and white tile floor, coke signs, and bright red booth seats) and an ice cream section. The menu is 3/4 Thai food with a good selection. The rest is diner food. I got chicken satay and red curry beef with a Thai iced tea. The chicken satay was so tender! The peanut sauce and cucumber sauce were spot on. The beef was chewy but the curry was amazing. I terms of flavor, this might be my favorite Thai restaurant! I got a lot of curry with a good mix of vegetables and meat. The satay looked small but there are 4 substantial pieces of chicken. My unadventurous companion tried the chicken and the tea. The chicken was a hit! He ordered the cheeseburger and seemed to like it. It's a half-pound burger so it's huge. There were a lot of fries and, when I snagged one, it was great. The service was good. Our server was also doing to go orders, but another server checked on us. We were offered boxes to take home leftovers twice, but we're traveling. They do have restrooms (only for paying customers). It's a small dining room. They do a lot of to go orders and even have online ordering. I might do that if we had somewhere to eat it. Their presentation was only okay. Food was great though! I wish more ethnic restaurants leaned into their American food like Dara Thai Twisters. I'm always wanting something different but eating with someone who eats the same pbj sandwich lunch daily. read more

We were the first ones to arrive for dinner. Service was quick and friendly. Kept our drinks full and asked if we were okay few times during our visit. You get a good amount of food- we ordered the chicken pad Thai, chicken fried rice, and crispy rolls (egg rolls). Price was very reasonable. read more

The perfect place for lunch or dinner! While on spring break, my little family came here for dinner because we all love Thai food. The shumai (fried) were so delicious my kid ordered more. I ordered the Data curry & cashew cashew nut, both of which came with rice. The ambiance is very casual & full of Americana. I felt happy finally getting to try some Arizona local beer (Oak Creek Amber ale) I would recommend this cute family style restaurant to anyone hitting up the history Route 66 area of Williams! read more

It was a very good Thai food. I got the hung pow it was very good not too expensive. The theme inside the restaurant is like a 50s Coca-Cola theme. It's right at the main street. It's plenty of parking in the street. They kept it coming with the drinks. Could service good food read more

Food and service is amazing!Everything I try is fantastic . Service is friendly and very good . A must try while in Williams.

While in Williams we tried a variety of dinners and restaurants and can say that this was the best place to eat. We were hesitant at first but after reading reviews we gave it a shot and it was great I ordered the pad king sod spicy and it was great spicy and perfect amount of vegetables. My husband ordered the beef teriyaki and well he had more carrots than beef so next time we will ask for less carrots. read more

We dined here this evening and what a great find. The food was amazing, great wait staff and a quirky old 1950's diner vibe.

It pays off having a unique food offering in a town that only has a couple types of restaurants. I definitely won't say it's the best Thai food I've ever had but it tasted good. Service also was fast and helpful. read more

Expect the unexpected! Delicious Thai food in a 50's diner setting? Correct! We had pad Thai, orange chicken, and noodles, but the Evil Jungle Princess stole the show! Nice staff topped off our good experience! read more

My first and probably last cocacola themed Thai restaurant. Vibes were so strange but in a good way! Spring Roll 6.9/10 (mixed vegetable ,rice noodle, chcken and shrimp wrapped in a rice paper roll) - I didn't mean to order these lol. I was going for more of a crispy fried spring roll. Still smacked for being majority veggies. My mom couldn't tell if it was tofu or chicken on the inside which was totally fair. Pad Thai 7.9/10 (Thai calssic noodles with egg, bean sprout ,green onion , sweet and sour tamarind sauce , topped with ground peanut) - wasn't your traditional Pad Thai, sauce was different but flavors were poppin. Huge portion, I split with my mom but we were so hungry we basically finished it read more

We were in Williams for the Grand Canyon Train. Our hotel was walking distance and this was the only international cuisine we found with good reviews. The interior is like a diner but definitely gives this place warmth and charm. It seems that it is run by a husband & wife. You can see her cooking everything from scratch in the back and he is ensuring the table service & front of house is all taken care of. Half of the dishes we ordered had alterations due to dietary restriction and they made sure everything was taken care of. I myself was a little nervous, but when the food came out I was blown away. Everything was delicious (you could taste the love). If I'm ever in the area again, I would go back in a heart beat! read more

Great Thai food in Willams. Would recommend. Service was a little slow once we got our food but it was late around closing time.

Very enjoyable meal, fun atmosphere, and friendly service from Panida (one of the owners)! We were delighted to meet the two lovely women who own and operate Dara Thai Twisters. They were born and raised in Thailand and came to the USA to fulfill a dream. read more

The food is still very good. We opted for pineapple fried rice, calamari pad Thai and our daughter, chicken. We all loved our food and we were waited on swiftly. The calamari was not super fresh, but what do you expect where we are in Arizona? Flavors are great, i ordered a 4 but they gave me extra pepper to enhance the flavor. My daughter got chocolate ice cream, they indulged her by adding extra whip cream. You could not make a child much happier. read more

We were visiting from California so we've been exposed to many Thai restaurants. This one is the best we've been to so far. Fresh from scratch. Service is also excellent. Ambiance is way different. They have bought an old 50's diner and kept the same decor. You don't feel like you're inside a Thai restaurant. Very unique. read more

The food was great and they had many items to choose from. Not a fancy place but solid and reasonably priced. I wish they offered wine though. But the beer list was adequate. read more

We were traveling through and were craving Thai! This was an excellent choice and if we go through again, we will MOST DEFINITELY return!

We pulled into the town of Williams, AZ around 7pm after spending all day at the Grand Canyon. We were tired and hungry. Being Asian, we gravitated towards Dara Thai Twisters for dinner. They were were very short staffed that day and the restaurant was full of people with only 1 server, so unfortunately the service was very slow. The waitress was extremely nice and was apologetic about the slow service. Food was just mediocre, not horrible, but coming from California, I've had much better Thai food. The Pad Thai and Pad Bai Kaprow were the 2 best tasting dishes out of everything that we ordered (Pineapple Fried Rice, Red Curry, Yum Yai). For drinks we had Thai Iced Tea and Tiger Milk Tea. The Red Curry needed stronger flavor and the Thai Iced Tea was pretty bland as well (watered down). It was disappointing that they didn't offer Thai Papaya Salad, but I'm guessing it's pretty difficult to purchase green papaya and some of the traditional Thai ingredients/spices in this part of the state. The outside of the restaurant and inside decor definitely fits Route 66, but nothing about the decor points to the Thai Culture. Overall, if you are looking for some sort of Asian food, this is as close as you are going to get in Williams, AZ. read more

Great food although the flavors aren't what I am typically used to at a Thai restaurant it seems to have a bit of a Chinese fusion. Location is a bit sad, it looks a little rundown and could definitely use some improvements in decorations as half the building looks like a warehouse/abandoned store. All the staff there seem to be really nice and friendly and we're always checking up on us. read more

Best Thai food ever!! I am from Los Angeles so when I suggested Thai food to my boyfriend who is super picky...I was nervous. Wow. Super tasty and full of flavor. Veggies were fresh. The meat actually tasted like meat and not mystery meat, we had the Pad Thai.. 5 level spicy amd so good and the chicken Kung Pao. Great choices, the service is awesome amd very polite.
