Shock and Awe! This place was amazing. My husband and are sort of coffee snobs and I was intrigued by the pics from other reviewers of the Pistachio latte. We ordered a variety of items: My husband had a cappuccino, I had the pistachio latte and then we ordered the gyro, chicken quesadilla, pistachio cannoli and pistachio tres leches. The pistachio latte was the star for me. I was stunned that this drink has no syrups with that heavy chemical/artificial taste. It is 100% REAL pistachios. They blend and make this milk especially for this drink. I literally had little bits of pistachio in my mouth. Unbelievably delightful! I did add some sweetener of my own because I like things extra sweet. But it was so flavorful on its own! The cappuccino was very well made and the lunch food was delicious and flavorful. My husband almost demolished the pistachio tres leches. De Ra has a feel of cultural richness and I could tell the staff take pride in what they do. They were all very kind and helpful. We were told all good and baked goods (huge variety) were made in house. It's a cute spot and we had a wonderful experience. I'm picky when it comes to where I'll spend my calories... but suffice it to say, we will be back! read more

De ra is a cute and homey coffee shop. I love the ambiance and decoration. The adani chai is amazing. I really like the dera latte as well. While I'm not a huge pistachio person, the distachio latte is also good. The drinks and bakery items are amazing, but the staff stood out to me. They are so kind and helpful, and really make an effort to get to know you. This is definitely becoming a regular spot for me and would highly recommend it to anyone. read more

I ordered an iced lavender vanilla latte with breve and my bf ordered an iced salted caramel latte with breve. We both thought they were great but could've used a little more of the syrups bc we couldn't really taste mine and couldn't taste his at all. The service was ok. I think they could be more personable and have better customer connection but they were kind and did their jobs well. We went at 2:50 on a Sunday and there was no where to sit!! The place was packed! So maybe go at a different time. The man that made my coffee was kind when I asked if I could have a sample of their pistachio milk and it was delicious! I would definitely go again but it's not the place to go if you're looking for a low key coffeehouse quiet and simple vibe. read more

I stopped by De Ra today and was really impressed by this cute new coffee shop. It's modern, spacious with plenty of light illuminating the coffee shop. The environment inside was so calm and inviting that I stayed for a full hour to read. The menu was very expansive with both the classic as well as unique coffee options. I was intrigued by the pistachio latte but ended up deciding to get a decaf cappuccino with oat milk and strawberry syrup. It was delicious; a little frothy, balanced between tart and sweet, and I could still taste the espresso. The staff was very patient and friendly too. I'll definitely be back! read more

Some of the best creative drinks I've had in a long time. I ordered a latte and it tasted amazing. They also offered me a complementary brand new hot chocolate. This is a family coffee shop. The people are very friendly both the baristas and the patrons. A lot of the patrons are Muslim and Chef Sam offers catering and Mediterranean sandwiches. They serve a pistachio coffee called DeStashio wich is really good. read more

We tried DeRa while in visiting from Austin. We ended up getting coffee/food three times during our stay. We tried multiple pistachio pastries, all wonderful. The DeRa, Spanish, and Pistachio lattes were all fantastic too. Perhaps a little too sweet but full of flavor! Their falafel is perfect, as well as the sauces they pair with it. The gyro is nicely tender and flavorful. Our little ones loved it too. The rice is delicious!! I mean truly, we're sad to go home and not have it as an option. read more

I was looking for a new coffee spot near my work in Plano and came across this place; it was so yummy!! I got the D-Stachio Iced Latte and I thought it had great coffee flavor, sweetness, and a nice earthiness from the pistachio. I talked w the owner (I think?) for a bit and she said they've just opened 6 months ago:) The decor was intentional and comfy; I mean, look at the little tray my coffee was served on!! Great place to grab coffee and a bite to eat! I got a dirty chai latte and a Texas halal plate and it only came out to about $14 which is amazing pricing. I used to pay $7 for the same coffee so it's very nice to have something reasonably priced close to me. Not to mention the inside is a wonderful place to get work done. read more

Ok, yum! The Arabic coffee was so good. I love how it creeps up on you with its aroma and leaves you feeling so good you had it. You have to experience it. My daughter had a Kashmiri Chai, so good. We left with to go cups of their signature DeRa latte & a sugar free vanilla latte. Did not really need the togo cups but wanted to sample more of their offerings. These did not disappoint. The reviews are so raving but sadly this did not live up to the hype I had expected. Visited on a Saturday around 1pm and wasn't sure what I should try. Asked the barista what a few of the specialties were as it just said Spanish latte or the de ra latte and I had no idea what was in it. She didn't seem pleasant answering me or telling me info to try to sell it. I decided to just settle on a vanilla cold brew. The barista proceeded to pour the coffee and then ask if I wanted cream after filling most of the way to the top. I did want cream and she handed me a pint of milk to pour it myself. I used all of what was left in the container (not much) but before I could ask for anything additional, the barista went to sit down with another patron in the front near the door. It was just an overall unpleasant experience and I will not waste my time to feel like an inconvenience again. This coffee lover will gladly go elsewhere! read more
