    Spanish latte

Always great service and delicious food! The employees do a great job making sure customers are taken care of! Dar is one of my favorite coffee shops

Came here for a book club and it's your typical coffee house. The halal options are definitely a plus, but food was mediocre at best. Then again, you aren't going to a coffee house for amazing food. Coffee was good, ambience was nice and quiet. Not a ton of space but decent sized. When I went it was still called Dera and not Dar. Not sure if anything major changed since I was there.

    D-Stachio Latte, Oreo cheesecake

Drive by this coffee shop and it is always popping so decided to try it. We got the D-Stachio latte and it was actually very good. I was surprised because I generally don't like the overly bitterness of coffee but this one was perfectly sweetened and the pistachio flavor complemented it nicely. The Oreo cheesecake was decent but nothing crazy. Overall would come back for the coffee!

A chill cafe in East Plano that wasn't too loud on the weekend. However, it was pretty crowded on Easter Sunday and I lucked out with a chair. As a person that doesn't consume cow milk, I was disappointed that their signature lattes were not plant based friendly. I wanted to try their pistachio latte but the gentleman at the counter told me it's premixed with whole milk. So I opted with an iced latte with oat milk, vanilla and caramel. When frequently visiting many cafes, I find the coffee underneath the flavored syrups to be extremely bitter and not quality. This latte however was incredibly smooth and enjoyable. I will try a simple syrup or just 1 syrup because the coffee quality is there for me!! I didn't realize they offered food. I only saw a catering menu so I wish it was displayed because only after I ordered and sat did I see people enjoying platters of food.

Dstachio Latte, was very delicious and the staff was very kind!

ORDER Matcha Latte - the Matcha latte is very milky and sweet. It doesn't really taste like Matcha and the color just shows how much milk they put in compared to matcha. The drink itself isn't bad, but it just it's not a representative Matcha (tastes more like sweetened milk) VIBES There is seating from high seating at the window as well as several smaller tables with two seats each. There's a nice green and wooden aesthetic to the place and it's pretty clean and modern looking overall. SERVICE Service is great! Very friendly and quick to get drinks out!

Would visit again, but this visit had some ups and downs. Visiting with my cousin we ordered cheese pie, Mediterranean breakfast, Arabic coffee, Adani tea, and a macchiato. The portions were great for the price paid. We enjoyed everything, but a few details would have helped us choose the meal. With diets being so varied in the world today my biggest critique would be to label everything going on the dish. We had to scoop jalapeno from the hummus and bean dip because 1) it is NEVER served on other dips like this, and 2) we were not looking for spicy food. Also, I have had cheese pie from many other locations and never had it served with black sesame seeds. It didn't affect the flavor much, but allergies can be sensitive to the seeds and it would be helpful to label that. As for the young lady who served us, thank you for being so patient, however I wish I had not noticed her looking at her phone so many times during our visit and when I was alone looking at the menu.

Affogato in cookie cup and pistachio latte

Cute coffee shop with plenty of seating. Was surprised that they have so many pastry and dessert options and even food options. The workers were really friendly. Appreciate that they have self serve ice water for us while we wait for our order on a hot summer day. We throughly enjoyed our pistachio latte and affogato in a cookie cup. Since the cookie cup is a little smaller, the ice cream was really small. I would probably order extra ice cream on the side.

2024 - Yelp 100 Challenge #18 Located in Plano, TX off of Los Rios Blvd is a local coffee shop serving up great conversation and good customer service. The owner was in when I ordered and there was a new employee. Customer Service was amazing however my order came up wrong and it was fixed right away. I ordered their version of an iced caramel macchiato and ended up with a tea. My order was remade correctly and I was even offered the incorrect drink to keep. I didn't accept because I ordered bakery items and had no space to carry it. Educators with a badge receive a 10% discount. Service is a little slow so plan for that before stopping.

    Dera to go!

Still the absolute best coffee shop in the area. My family makes it a point to visit here as much as we can when in the DFW area. The Dera and pstachio lattes are amazing. You can't find better versions of the pistachio latte which uses a housemade syrup. We see the same awesome folks on our stop who are clearly very passionate about the space and creating a welcoming environment for all. Can't wait for our next trip to DFW to visit family and support this amazing business!

The coffee at DeRa was unmatched! They had a chill environment that was busy, but never got too loud. The woman who took our order was very helpful and asked if we needed suggestions. The Spanish latte was so good! (And I'm not one to drink coffee). Their chai was also yummy.

Very good matcha nice people as well

Absolutely wonderful experience friendly service, cozy ambiance, and the matcha was incredibly rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy quality drinks.

We ordered the D-stachio and De Ra Lattes. The D-stachio is pistachio flavor and the De Ra is cardamom flavor. My favorite latte was the D-stachio latte. They also have pastries and cakes. There were a lot of tables for people to work at but I personally found it very loud.

Ask the Community - Dar Coffee

Do they have the knafeh chocolate bars? Someone said they did online.

Yes, the Velar ones for $20.

I can't see a food menu? Does this place have only coffee and tea?

Their drinks menu is pretty much fixed, but they rotate different baked goods and a few savory items which they post at the counter. The date muffins, basbusa and some kind of cake are almost always available.

Fast forward a couple of weeks and I stopped in on the way home to hopefully stop the constant chatter about how good it might be. Well that plan was a fail. Why? Because it WAS good. I had the sticky rice and got the husband's requested coconut mango juice. Perfectly sweet tart mangos, excellent flavor combos and everything was packaged nicely to go. Will I hear more about us going again? Yes. Will we go again? Also yes.

I ordered a crepe cake for my son's 21st birthday as a request he wanted so we found Mango Mango Dessert on Google. My daughter called to inquire on how much the cake was and was told $85 cash but $115 if you pay by credit card. I was in disbelief that the fee to pay by credit card would be $30 more. We placed the order and I took cash and had my phone to pay by card. We got there and the young lady asked my daughter if we were paying by cash or card. My daughter responded card. I got to the counter and then we interacted with a gentleman and I asked him could I pay by card. He said yes and rung it up, the total came to $104.63. I asked him how much was the cake and he said $85 but there's a processing fee. I responded that that was a high processing fee and normally businesses I've interact with only charge 3% convenience fee at the most. To avoid paying the $19.63 processing fee, I paid $85 cash for my transaction but I don't think a consumer should have pay the merchant's processing fee to that extent for that amount and I got a free mango smoothie for the points I would have earned for my purchase. The mango smoothie was absolutely delicious and for that I will go back again because I haven't found anyone that makes a smoothie with real mangos and it was sweet. I will also add that their customer service was still very nice. If you are interested in getting a cake made here, it's cost effective to pay by CASH.

They're also aesthetically pleasing. A bit less eggy than other fluffy souffle pancake joints that I've tried overseas. The pancakes here are fluffy and closer to the American cake consistency, but much lighter and easier to cut through versus the types you'd get in Japan. Strawberry Souffle Pancakes - The strawberries are fresh and delicious. Definitely appreciate that the whipped cream appears to be made in house and not out of a can. The premium pancake option comes with the equivalent of three strawberries and two pancakes with a reasonable dollop of whipped cream and strawberry sauce. Nutella Banana Souffle Pancakes - Roughly half or two-thirds of a banana split in two and appears to have a bit of caramelized sugar on it. There's also one strawberry, a Ferrero Rocher, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce to go with two fluffy pancakes. The entree is definitely well executed and fruits are fresh. Whipped cream is excellent. Overall, this place is a great place to enjoy some fluffy souffle pancakes. There's limited seating and wait times on the pancakes are anywhere between 15-20 minutes, which we appreciate because they do make them to order. The price of $13.99 for two pancakes off the premium menu felt a bit steep for the product. Experience at much better establishments, like Happy Pancake, in Shibuya or Ginza offer three pancakes with a greater quantity of whipped cream and fruits at roughly $8.25 with no expectations on tips. I understand we're in the states and this may not be a fair comparison, but the variance in both quantity and price is steep. Other than that, the product is good and worth a try.
