I just heard about this new shop and had to stop in while I was in Plano! I LOVE pistachio but am not a fan of the Monin/Starbucks pistachio syrup attempts - so I was very intrigued by their latte with their own real pistachio syrup. It did not disappoint - SO yummy and a great pistachio flavor with very yummy espresso! I highly recommend this spot and can't wait to stop back in and try more of their menu! very cute place! the shop is cozy with both chairs/tables to do work or couches to lounge on. I got the de ra latte (date syrup, cardamom) and it was incredible, unlike anything i've ever had! the quality of coffee was also very good. service was very kind, they did realize they ran out of oat milk after I paid so I ended up paying an extra dollar for reg milk. the sweets on display also looked yummy so i'll have to try those next! read more

The place was quite busy on a Sunday around 11:30am, know that this is a small business and you may wait a bit for your order, so dont be a jerk about it. Its a good thing because it means business is going well and it will stick around! It's a very diverse coffee shop and welcoming to all. I love the very social vibe with people laughing, talking, hugging, smiling, actually interacting with one another instead of staring at a phone or computer. I am new to Plano and I have been searching for "my" local coffee shop. My search is over; De Ra Coffee is my coffee home. This place is incredible! De Ra has great ambience. Natural light fills the room from floor to ceiling windows. The parking is easy and plentiful. The music is a unique blend of Acoustic Arabic and pop that is just the right volume. The service is top notch. The staff is extremely friendly and personal; they have introduced themselves by name every time I have visited--they take hospitality seriously. The coffee is excellent. The prices for regular coffee are reasonable with a few more pricy specialty options. The snack options are also one-of-a-kind, with delicious savory and sweet Arabic pies and others delectables. The seating is very comfortable and the shop can comfortably seat over 35 people at once. Comfortable seating is important to someone who has back problems like me. I've been here at least 20x in the last 9 months or so...it's near home and the coffee is consistent. I love the D'stachio latte which is made with real pistachios--nothing artificial. I've tried the De Ra latte and the Spanish latte as well but I keep going back to my original favorite. One of the baristas even offered me to order something new and if I don't like it then he would replace it for free, since I always get the same thing lol. They also have added on hot food (made to order) in addition to the prepared food in the front case. The pastries are also delicious and they change season to season. The only minus point (for me) is lack of drive thru but other than that, no other critiques. I believe they use P&B beans, for those who are familiar with that local chain. They also have adani tea (chai), which is Yemeni. There are a lot of Yemeni tea/coffee shops now in DFW but this one is my go to due to location and consistency. Keep it up. :) read more

The staff is not overly helpful if it's your first time but they are helpful none the less. I only say that because that is something some people look for I do not mind it personally I like the service I received. I got an Arabic coffee and I loved it. It is not something that is for everyone but if you are not middle eastern and are looking to trying something different I would advise to try it. They of course have other common American or French coffee options but that's just not what I got. I rate four stars just because there was nothing over the moon about the place but I did enjoy my time here. read more
