I saw this cute new coffee shop pop up in Plano and wanted to stop by to try their d-stachio latte which is their special pistachio latte. I love the spacious seating area and there's also outside shaded seating. All the natural light that comes in helped me feel extra productive here while getting some work done. I really enjoyed their instrumental playlist, which was a vibe while not being overly distracting. After I ordered they told me they'd run out of 16oz cups so they upgraded my drink size for free, yay! I had a feeling I would like this spot, but their customer service makes it an even more enjoyable experience. The owner offered me one of their desserts to try, the baboosa: a semolina cake. It was a light dessert that complimented my latte. Overall I enjoyed the space, service and coffee and would recommend stopping by if you're ever in the area. read more

I just heard about this new shop and had to stop in while I was in Plano! I LOVE pistachio but am not a fan of the Monin/Starbucks pistachio syrup attempts - so I was very intrigued by their latte with their own real pistachio syrup. It did not disappoint - SO yummy and a great pistachio flavor with very yummy espresso! I highly recommend this spot and can't wait to stop back in and try more of their menu! They have plenty of indoor seating (and patio) and very nice atmosphere inside! The baristas are super friendly and I highly recommend stopping in! read more

Food was excellent, everything was house made: wraps, cakes, etc. This is a hidden gem. Muhammad & the nice girl at the counter made us feel at home. I got a Kashmiri chai latte w/ pistachios. I requested for a little sugar & it was so good. If you get a chance, check out the best coffee shop in Dallas - & they're open til 9pm. Great spot for hanging out & getting work done. Incredibly hospitable. Great atmosphere. Flavorful. Delicious. Authentic. Aesthetic. Wonderful setting for a slow Saturday. Upon walking into DeRa, we were welcomed into a home-like community with the beautiful comfort and charm of Yemenese hospitality. The Arabic coffee, DeRa latte, and falafels were divinely delicious. All of the food products are made in house with love. Great place to study. Accommodating to families and young children. Amazing food, service, and ambiance. Dairy free options available read more

Terrible. I had their signature latte and green pistachio cookie and it made me want to throw up. The coffee was tart and sour and mostly milk, very little coffee. The cookie had the texture of playdough and tasted like it too. read more

I went to the store for the first time and it was renovating or something so I did not get a cozy welcoming vibe. The drinks and food were okay. I ordered the DeRa Latte and the Adani Tea. Both highly recommmend! The Pistachio Cannoli & Kunafa were both okay but a little too sweet for me. Would like to visit again and try their other drinks and desserts. read more

This D-stachio latte is the best latte I've ever had in my life. It is made with pistachio sauce, handmade in the store, not syrup. It even has little bits of pistachio in it. And supreme Customer Service as well. I can't wait to try the Spanish latte; it sounds delicious. That being said, I will be back. read more

very cute place! the shop is cozy with both chairs/tables to do work or couches to lounge on. I got the de ra latte (date syrup, cardamom) and it was incredible, unlike anything i've ever had! the quality of coffee was also very good. service was very kind, they did realize they ran out of oat milk after I paid so I ended up paying an extra dollar for reg milk. the sweets on display also looked yummy so i'll have to try those next! read more

A coffee place that draws inspiration from Arabic flavors, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. I tried their "d-stachio latte" and it was simply great. The fusion of rich espresso with the aromatic flavors of pistachio created a unique and delicious blend. I highly recommend giving this place a visit for a delightful and flavorful coffee experience. read more

I don't often give a five star review but this location deserves it. I ordered the DeRa latte iced in the smaller size. The drink is delicious! Perfect balance of flavor, milk, and espresso. The flavor was unique and bold, yet not overpowering. Espresso tastes high quality and smooth but prevalent in the drink. Service was great and staff was very accommodating when I experienced an issue with my online order. Relaxed and clean atmosphere. Would absolutely return! read more

The coffee was excellent with lots of flavor and spice; definitely not your typical blend of powder and sugar without any flavor. I love this coffee shop! I'm always on the hunt to find new coffee shops around the city but especially my area. I found this place because it has great reviews so decided to meet an associate one Saturday. Everyone was kind and helpful since it was both our first time. I ordered the iced pistachio latte and omg it was so good! Not overly sweet and like people have mentioned they use real pistachios and not a syrup. I also ordered a gyro sandwich which was delicious as well, a pretty big portion! I have already went back and will continue to do so! read more

I am new to Plano and I have been searching for "my" local coffee shop. My search is over; De Ra Coffee is my coffee home. This place is incredible! De Ra has great ambience. Natural light fills the room from floor to ceiling windows. The parking is easy and plentiful. The music is a unique blend of Acoustic Arabic and pop that is just the right volume. The service is top notch. The staff is extremely friendly and personal; they have introduced themselves by name every time I have visited--they take hospitality seriously. The coffee is excellent. The prices for regular coffee are reasonable with a few more pricy specialty options. The snack options are also one-of-a-kind, with delicious savory and sweet Arabic pies and others delectables. The seating is very comfortable and the shop can comfortably seat over 35 people at once. Comfortable seating is important to someone who has back problems like me. I could sit in any of these chairs for hours (and I have if you can believe it). This is a supreme coffee shop. If you have not tried De Ra coffee, what are you doing in Plano?!? read more

Cute place, but they never put the AC in there, so it always feels like a greenhouse - a great way to make the very nice huge windows feel like a downside, not an upside. Service is very rude and apathetic, especially if you are not from their culture/religion. Pastries overpriced - $7 for a pistachio pastry that is just made from puff pastry and REEKS of freezer burn/ fridge burn. read more

Just got the Spanish latte and it's amazing!! Made with white chocolate and condensed milk, it is so decadent and smooth and satisfying. The place was quite busy on a Sunday around 11:30am, know that this is a small business and you may wait a bit for your order, so dont be a jerk about it. Its a good thing because it means business is going well and it will stick around! It's a very diverse coffee shop and welcoming to all. I love the very social vibe with people laughing, talking, hugging, smiling, actually interacting with one another instead of staring at a phone or computer. They also have a kitchen offering full meals and a beautiful bakery that I marveled at while waiting for my drink. So many options like cheesecake, cinnamon rolls, pistachio cannolis, spinach feta danish...and I can't wait to try that Biscoff cake!! read more

Came here because it looked like it had wonderful reviews and it lives up to the name. Some of the best coffee I've had in a really long time I ordered one of the signature iced coffee's, and my wife ordered a latte and we both loved it. They were so welcoming, and gave us advice on what to order and it didn't disappoint. We also had a three month old who loved the environment because there was no loud music and it was very friendly. read more

Great coffee, especially Arabic coffee. Middle Waster. Breakfast looks great. Unique pastries and a great atmosphere. This place rocks!

I've been here at least 20x in the last 9 months or so...it's near home and the coffee is consistent. I love the D'stachio latte which is made with real pistachios--nothing artificial. I've tried the De Ra latte and the Spanish latte as well but I keep going back to my original favorite. One of the baristas even offered me to order something new and if I don't like it then he would replace it for free, since I always get the same thing lol. They also have added on hot food (made to order) in addition to the prepared food in the front case. The pastries are also delicious and they change season to season. The only minus point (for me) is lack of drive thru but other than that, no other critiques. I believe they use P&B beans, for those who are familiar with that local chain. They also have adani tea (chai), which is Yemeni. There are a lot of Yemeni tea/coffee shops now in DFW but this one is my go to due to location and consistency. Keep it up. :) read more

The staff is not overly helpful if it's your first time but they are helpful none the less. I only say that because that is something some people look for I do not mind it personally I like the service I received. I got an Arabic coffee and I loved it. It is not something that is for everyone but if you are not middle eastern and are looking to trying something different I would advise to try it. They of course have other common American or French coffee options but that's just not what I got. I rate four stars just because there was nothing over the moon about the place but I did enjoy my time here. read more
