My favorite winery in Temecula! A bit off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. All of their wine is very good, especially if you like sweet wine (Gewurtzaminer) and their Super Tuscan red blend is fantastic!

Bachelorette party with David and Brandon

Brandon and Dave are the best tour guides. Very knowledgeable and communicative. If you're doing a bachelorette please include David and Brandon. They are very awesome and fun!

The view

Brandon was amazing. We had a lot of fun and learned so much about the vineyard. Delicious wine and beautiful scenery. We highly recommend.

Came in on a Monday at 1pm for a tasting and a quick snack. Got a free tasting and had a great time. Our server were great. We sat on the outdoor patio and it was perfect. All wine pours were perfect and tasty.

We took a moment to toast the good life that we've been blessed with.

The Mrs. and I spent Labor Day weekend in Temecula at the finest bed and breakfast you could ever ask for, The New Inn. We highly recommend it, but that's beside the point. While there, we went to a Danza Del Sol Winery. My wife loves wine, but I'm not much into it. I love Champagne (Sparkling wine in the US, Cava, Prosecco or whatever it's called across the globe), but wine usually falls flat on me. Having said that, I'm not one to turn down a good wine tasting. And Danza Del Sol Winery had one. What made this particular wine tasting unique was our tour guide, HB. She was amazing. She was energetic, fun, friendly, and SUPER knowledgeable! She made the whole experience a day to remember. This tour went by way too fast, but she packed soooo much info into her presentation, that we were completely impressed with wine, the winery, the Temecula winery scene, the local history, and anything else she shared with us. When considering a wine tasting in Temecula, do yourself a favor and go to Danza Del Sol Winery. Ask for HB. You'll be glad you did.

Amanda is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is truly phenomenal. Her passion for helping couples shines through in everything she does. From the moment I met her, my family instantly felt comfortable and knew we could trust her. She is concise, down-to-earth, attentive and incredibly easy to work with. Her professionalism and genuine care made the entire experience feel effortless and I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her. Couples are usually very specific about their wedding date, but we actually changed our date specifically so we could work with Amanda. We officially named our day, "Amanda 31st." Jennifer, our banquet captain, was absolutely amazing! She was attentive, thoughtful and constantly checked in on us throughout the evening to make sure everything was running smoothly. Her attention to detail made us feel so well taken care of. Our DJ, Tom, was incredible! He kept the atmosphere lively, read the room perfectly and knew exactly when to keep the energy going or switch things up. He truly helped make our reception so much fun and kept everyone on the dance floor!

We found this place using Groupon and I'm so happy we did!! The grounds were great, wine was even better and we were served by Sandra and she gave fantastic recommendations for our tasting! Definitely leaving a note for the next time I'm in the area!

Brandon the most amazing tour guide! He took us on a utv ride through the winery grounds and had so much knowledge. The tasting was incredible with great food/wine pairs. Our group of 5 took home 12 bottles! Highly recommend. Best winery experience we had in Temecula!

Super busy evening at Danza del Sol Winery last Saturday. The vibes were great. Lots of people at the counters indoor and some outside patio. Love music was lovely. Customer service is ok and the wine tastes great. They also sell unique gift items. Great spot for holiday shopping for wine lovers.

Ask the Community - Danza del Sol Winery

Are you dog friendly?

Hello! Dogs are welcome on the patio’s only.

Can we bring our own cheeseboard?

Hi MaryGrace! Small charcuterie boards are allowed on the patio. Large picnic, coolers, or food that is delivered to the property such as pizza, sandwiches, etc. are not permitted.

Hi there, I was wondering if y'all offer perks or discounts for members of the wine industry? Thank you!

Hi Alexis: With proof of a current pay stub, we offer Monday - Wednesday one comp tasting, 1/2 off additional tastings, and 30% off bottle purchases.

Do we need reservations for tastings on a weekend?

Hi Amanda! Reservations are not required but highly recommended. We do however take walk-ins. You may have to wait for a little during peak times. As you can imagine the weekends get quite busy. We are also hosting tastings at the bar too.

Do you make any organic wines?

Hi Rosey! Thank you for your question. We do not produce organic wines.

How much are wine tastings on the weekend?

I'm not sure if it is different than during the week but during the week it's $18

Do they offer wine flights?

I just called, they have tastings available for $15 on weekdays and $17 on weekends.

How many minutes/hours are the wine tours? Specifically talking about the Groupon Deal.

Typically an hour to hour and a half. Depends on group size and how engaging all the guests are. But it's loads of fun!

What if we are running 10 minutes late for a tour?

Hi Angela: If you are running late please call the winery at 951-302-6363 ext. 21 and let them know. Whoever answers will let the tour host know and once you get here we…

Is parking free and what kind of wines (ie. red, white, etc. )does the $75 for two deal include?i bought it off from Groupon.

Parking is free and there is alot of choices of different red, white, ect.... This is the best wine tasting spot for anyone in temecula area

How do you dress for this place?

We are a casual tasting experience. No bathing suits allowed.

I was low-key panicking when we pulled in because parking looked completely full, but somehow I found a spot at the very last minute, so don't lose hope if it looks packed. The wine was actually really good, the staff was so friendly, and everyone there was just there to have a fun night. The line dancing was beginner-friendly, so even if you've never done it before, you'll catch on pretty quickly. Also... the little golf cart shuttle that takes you back to the parking lot afterward? Absolute best after a long night in boots . It was such a nice touch after a night of dancing. Such a fun way to spend a Friday with your girlfriends. We'll definitely be making this a tradition.

He was knowledgeable about the wines and did a great job explaining the pairings. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and the pond is gorgeous. It's a great setting to relax, enjoy some wine, and take in the views. They also have a nice selection of wines to choose from. Unfortunately, the food options were a bit of a letdown. I was particularly disappointed in what they presented as a charcuterie board. There were no jams, olives, or brie, and the overall presentation was pretty underwhelming. The walnuts presentation were also soft and soggy. How do walnuts get that way unless they've been sitting out too long?! The "charcuterie board" came in a square paper box and for $42.00, I expected a much better presentation and options. Honestly, it just felt blah and wasn't what I would typically expect from a winery. Overall, the wine, service, and beautiful surroundings made for an enjoyable visit. I just wish the food offerings and presentation were more in line with the rest of the experience. I'd consider coming back for the wine and scenery, but I hope they improve their food selection. On another note, my friend order the truffle fries. It was okay but it was barely dusted with truffle.

Well, I tried to call them a few days head, but the voice mail instructions was too long. Anyhow, they took us to where the magic happened. Apparently other than the usual wine oak barrels, Somerset Winery use amphorae. A method that was used since hundreds or maybe even thousands years ago. The amphorae was imported from Italy, and Denise was showing us about a pressure release device that was invented by Leonardo DaVinci! Then the owner came with a big group about to enter the chamber, so he let us try the unfiltered wine straight from the gigantic amphora. What an experience! The wine from these amphorae was so smooth. I really changed my view of Temecula's wine. Try their collection of the Drunken Rabbits wine while you are here. They are sweet and tasty! They also have Michael Chain performing live that day, so lovely.

There were Adirondack chairs outside, cornhole, etc. It was such a welcoming place. There were food trucks from which to purchase Mexican food etc. out in the parking lot. After Covid, they expanded which is great. The comfy Adirondack chairs turned into metal tables and chairs. The space feels much more crammed. It does not feel so relaxed anymore. And as for the employees, snarky comments should never be tolerated. My daughter-in-law had her mother's retirement party at this establishment. Initially, the woman she talked to on the phone was not very helpful or welcoming. Some other gentleman was VERY helpful and gave the impression that this party was welcome here. On the night of the event, 15 people actually showed up. We had three tables inside. There was one party of 4 in the back corner. The place was empty. There were a few people outside enjoying the live music. The music was great. Anyway, we brought some of our Somerset wines from home but also ordered beers, pizza and champagne. It's not like we were merely using their facility with no benefit to them. A couple came in and used another inside table. Again, there was still open seating inside. We weren't loud. We were respectful. We spent money. When it came time to cut the cake, we asked to borrow a knife. The female employee's comment was, "We can't lend you a knife. This is why we tell people to bring cupcakes" in a very condescending and rude tone. There was absolutely no excuse for that demeanor. She should have been kind. And as a side note, any time someone from our party walked up to the tasting counter, the employees didn't acknowledge them. A male and female were talking to each other and told us we needed to wait. What kind of customer service is that?? I've read through many of the comments and it sounds like bridal parties and bachelor parties are perfectly acceptable. And we all know how rowdy they can get. But our quiet retirement party did not feel welcomed. Go to Peltzer if you're in the area. Great vibe! Very chill! Amazing Sangrias and slushies.

Last time I was here was probably 12 years ago, and WOW has this place changed. It's basically the Disneyland of wineries now! There's a mimosa station when you arrive, wine tastings in the main building, cabana-style seating on the lawn, and tables and chairs almost everywhere you look. They also have an onsite grille restaurant, wine clubs, tours, and the cutest little shop inside. The property itself is beautiful with tons of photo spots, vineyards you can stroll through, and even a little man-made lake that gives the whole place a whimsical feel. There's also a ballroom with a huge projector where we watched the World Cup game! And random but important... bathrooms everywhere. The dress code is super chill here! It was HOT when we visited, and I even saw guys walking around in flip-flops, so definitely dress comfortably for the weather. They even have a shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at the parking lot! It comes around about every 15 minutes, and tips are welcomed. Our shuttle driver told us Wilson Creek has a contract with Disneyland, where they sell their infamous Almond Champagne, and you can also find some of their champagnes at Ralph's! The staff were all super friendly! For tastings, you purchase a tasting card at the register and then belly up to the wine bar to choose your pours. You can also just grab a glass or bottle of wine, and they even have beers on tap! You can get married here, host an event, grab food, spend the day wine tasting, or just hang out and enjoy the property. It's seriously such a happening place and we can't wait to come back!
