Danny suggested, and then provided, a lockbox for my mother's house. I hadn't realized what a great idea that was until he mentioned it. At 86, it's likely she would forget her keys, or lose her keys. Now, she'll never lock herself out. He did a great job making her safe and thinking through what type of lock would be best, investigating what was wrong with the existing locks, etc. Thanks, Danny.... read more

Outstanding service. We recently moved into a new house with some wonky locks. They fixed them all, quickly and correctly. They also made price-conscious reccos and steered us away from costlier options. Competent and trustworthy. All those positive Yelp reviews are there for a reason. read more

Danny Keys did a fantastic job helping us with locksmith needs in our new home. The previous owners had left two Schlage touchpads that weren't functioning properly. Danny Keys quickly and efficiently upgraded the locks. He advised us honestly on which products would best serve our needs. I was impressed by the prompt communication and quick response time for service. read more

Made a call to Danny's after looking up a few reviews, looked like the best response time. After getting a quick phone response, not sure if it was the owner or ?? But said a technician would get back to me in a few minutes, had my doubts on that ..... In a few minutes, calling me back was Johnathan, a technician, saying he could be at my location in 15 or 20 minutes, I agreed for him to come. He was there in 15 minutes, Got my door opened with no damage to my door, just as he stated. He was very courteous and polite. Was not cheap to get my door open but he explained that other's are much more. I would definitely call them again. My own fault and they provide a quality service, prompt response as well. Thank you Johnathan and Danny's Keys. read more

On time. Said 10 minutes arrived within 10 minutes. Quoted price on the phone. Bill was exactly for what was quoted. Competent. Courteous. Effective. Amazing really. Locked out and back in within twenty minutes of placing a call for service. read more

Very pleased with my experience with Danny Keys. I needed a door re-keyed and a new lock. They took care of it in under 30 minutes, and with a brand new set of keys. They are very responsive in the initial quote stage, prompt, friendly and competitively priced. They will also work with you on scheduling. I had to reschedule my initial appointment, because I had another contractor coming that same day. They didn't give me any grief, and rescheduling was not a hassle. I'd highly recommend Danny Key. read more

I initially had a not so great experience, but Danny reached out to me and asked what he could do to make it right. He replaced the locks I wasn't happy with free of charge and refunded the one I had already replaced with another locksmith. It seems like he cares a lot about the service he provides. Thanks Danny! read more

I had an extremely secure personal lockbox that I forgot the combination to and these guys cut it open for me at a fairly reasonable price and did it in about 1.5 hrs. The storefront is super clean and nicely designed for a locksmith and you can tell they're trying to create a nice business for their customers. read more

Danny Keys re-keyed my new house and got us down to one key for all doors instead of the pile of 8 keys the previous owners handed me. Additionally they installed an electronic keypad at our back door which has been very convenient as well. Prices were very reasonable and great options were presented. The locksmith team was very knowledgeable and professional, I would highly recommend. read more

Could not be happier with the service, response time and cost. We had an exterior door lock that wasn't properly functioning and told by another service that it was an issue with the door / frame and we needed to replace it all. Danny Keys came out, quickly diagnosed an alignment issue and problem with the way the door was installed.... within 20 minutes, realigned the door and had the lock working and house secure - also saved us a few thousand dollars.. thank you!! read more

Needed to re-key after moving to a new house. Very responsive, polite, professional and efficient. Will definitely use again.

Professional and extremely helpful. Did a great job when called for a new home. Would recommend them as they are flexible to come and help you whenever you need them. They were done with the job in a timely manner and invoice is easy to understand without junk / hidden fees. read more

Jonathon was fantastic. Even though it wasn't an emergency, he was at my door in under 30 minutes. He fixed my lock quickly and was sure to explain everything to me step by step so there were not surprises at the end. I wasn't aware I had an European lock which meant the piece he originally brought didn't work, but he had a colleague quickly drop off the right part. So professional, great work. Would use them again for sure. read more

I must give Danny Keys 247 a great review -- they provided exceptional service, and I can recommend them. Jonathan, the tech, came out immediately after my phone call and replaced my lock expertly and in record time. Later, I had a follow-up question about the price, Angie was particularly helpful, but ultimately, it was my conversations with the manager, Joe, that proved to me the company's dedication to customer satisfaction, and I was fully satisfied with the transaction. We here in Northbrook are fortunate to have a "top-drawer", licensed locksmith in our area, and I recommend Danny Keys 247. read more

Danny's my locksmith service provider for life. Lightening fast response to my inquiry, understood the problem and urgency with my commercial building security and had Joseph out in less than two hours. Two reasonable options to the issue - try to repair the weird, super expensive, overly complicated three-year-old lock system or replace with more flexible units. I opted for the more expensive replacement and the work was completed quickly. Note: the locks are located on two custom, heavily carved and old doors and Joseph was very careful/thoughtful about proceeding so the doors weren't affected at all. Be still my heart. Danny's services for a commercial property are not bargain basement prices but more than competitive with other area locksmiths and the service is incredibly good (meaning priceless). BTW, this building has/had been a long-time customer of another near north suburban lock service that has consistently failed on customer service in the last two years. That company's prices are very high and responsiveness really poor so Danny's the man going forward! read more

I had a great experience with Joe when I needed to re-key the locks at my newly purchased building. He was right on time, super helpful and when I walked in to a flooding building, he helped me troubleshoot the problem and get the water off. Joe definitely went above and beyond his duties! I would give more stars if I could! Thanks, Joe! read more

I called, and in 25 minutes I was back in my house! I have two two-year-olds (and it's February) so I was super nervous about how long it would take. One decided to turn the knob on the latch and we were locked out :( And I'm blown away how quick and easy this process was. Thank you, thank you! read more

We had an issue with our keys not working for the locks on our pod moving containers and we had all our possessions in there. I went on Yelp and saw Danny's Keys asked for an estimate he called me right away I sent him the picture of the lock. He quoted me a price and I agreed on that price and his guy Jose was at our house within 40 minutes!!!!! Thank goodness. When Jose showed up I was very impressed with how kind and very nicely dressed in the company's logo. Their business van was VERY NICE I was really impressed. To be honest I was dreading calling a locksmith. Danny's Keys and Jose made it so easy and fast. I would highly recommend them! Matter of fact o asked Jose for a card and even the cards were impressive. Good job guys. read more

They came when they said they would to fix a combination front door lock. They immediately knew it was a dying battery and replaced it. They also fixed my storm door handle as an extra bonus. $80 for the call and $25 for the work. I don't know how that compares with other companies. For their quick work and honesty in not trying to sell me another lock, it was worth it. Very nice folks too. read more

Bought a new lock, needed it installed. Saw the wonderful reviews and called them up. $55 for a home visit and estimate. When the estimate came in at over $500, we were blown away. This place may be very good (based on their reviews) but it is also very expensive! We had already purchased the lock for over $100 .. decided to bail and just return the new lock. Next time, I'll call our handyman. read more

Excellent experience with using Danny Keys 247. We wanted to replace our deadbolt with a key-less access system but did not want to deal with a self install. After months of procrastinating I finally did a search for a locksmith in our area and came across Danny Keys 247. I left a message and within minutes received a response. We set up a time to meet and got the job done the same day. I was very happy with the entire experience. Well done! read more

Highly recommended! Not only did Danny have one of the lowest prices, he was prompt in his responses and reached the appointment on time. He was quick, efficient and even saved me a trip back to the home improvement store - apparently, sometimes locks sold at big box stores can have the keys missing! All this at no extra cost.
