Nice selection of bourbon

We visited Danielle's late on a Friday evening. It was a nice change to the always crowded restaurants in Castle Rock. The food is fabulously prepared to order in the scratch kitchen. They have a great wine and cocktail list.

Crème Brûlée

We arrived around 5:30 pm. The restaurant was bright and cheery. A few tables were filled inside and outside. Our waiter, Brian, greeted us, asking if we wanted drinks. We ordered some soft drinks while discussing the menu. I wanted to try the 5 cheese stuffed mushrooms - they were pretty good, with some marinara sauce. We ordered the Cabutto Tenuta La Volta 2017. Brian recommended it since it seemed to be the owner's favorite. It paired well with the Vadouvan Spiced Halibut and Pasta Bolognese - both were delicious. For dessert, we both had the crème brûlée which hit the spot.

We have been to Scileppi's multiple times and I just checked and no review. So here we go! Love the atmosphere and the old church so very neat and so happy when they expanded they did not ruin the original church. The server we just had from our previous visit! She was awesome again and she is incredibly friendly. We started with ice cold beers and a Chianti for the wine drinker. We also tried the Works pizza! Yummy loved the crust and especially sausage very good... Next time will include the pics doh!

Our booth on the church side was a little cramped. During the online reservation, it asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. I selected anniversary. I did not expect anything elaborate, but a simple acknowledgment would have been nice. There was none. The bread was soft and warm. It was probably the best part of the meal. The rest of the food was just underwhelming. The four seasons salad was okay but not memorable. The crab-stuffed shrimp linguine was also just okay, nothing special. The chicken piccata was overpowered by lemon and had not much flavor. The veal marsala risotto was dry, bland and forgettable. The portions were just right. Service could have been better. It was a little slow and did not feel warm or welcoming. Considering the hype and prices, the experience did not meet our expectations. None of us really enjoyed the meal. For us, it is a one-and-done.

He was very nice, through and prompt. He was very patient with us and we really appreciated that. We were trying to decide on what we really wanted. This was our first time here and we really enjoyed ourselves.. Oliver came back and took our orders for the food... when I tell you everything was delicious, hot, and very flavorful. Shameka like her patty melt. Kenn and Antanaysiah grit that their steaks were tender and cooked to perfection. The Cajun shrimp and lobster linguine was mouth watering goodness. I loved that the Alfredo sauce was made from scratch, The pork chop was juicy and tender; so Asante had no complaints. The salmon was flaky and sweet so Vince liked the veggies that was with it. The bbq bacon wrapped shrimp was devine and sooo good. Josh and Candice really enjoyed them. Jade loved the taste of the couscous with the shrimp. The fries were hot and on point with the garlic Parmesan. KJ said his chicken wings were seasoned with just the right amount of sauce, The salad was crispy and yummy. They loved the creaminess of the mash potatoes and the texture of the veggies. The place was cleaned, neatly decorated and the bathrooms were clean too. Oliver was simply amazing. He took care of us and made sure everything was great!!!! To the young lady who took our picture Thanks....

As I have the past several times here, I went with the egg and carnitas tacos. I added a side of fresh fruit...both the eggs and fruit were very good. As the Benedict my wife loved is no longer on the menu, she had the avocado toast with eggs. She added a large size of the breakfast potatoes and was glad she did. While she liked the taste of the avocado toast, she was very disappointed in the small size of the portion. She wish she had more. One daughter had the Mardi Gras omelette for the first time. While she liked the flavor, the fact that the ham was a full slice (lunchmeat style), as opposed to chunks or cubes, was weird...and required cutting with a knife. The other daughter tried the quiche for the first time and loved it. It is one of the better quiches around. Coffee is very good as well. Service was fine for the most part.

It's never not busy and definitely the spot to be for prime rib night, steak salad or football. Happy hour is awesome because their martinis are killer! The dining area is great if you want to escape the bustling energy in the bar. We prefer the high tops and there's usually one available. Parking can be nuts in this shopping area but the walk isn't far and worth it. Pull up a chair and my friends will most likely chat off your ears while cheering another round of martinis and wine!

They observed my reservation with us arriving a little early, they still sat us on time, but ahead of those waiting in the seating area. Sat at the bar for 30 minutes and not one was asked what I would like to drink or eat. It was not that busy. There were two bartenders. One lady who walked back and forth, not bussing dishes or serving anyone. Just walking back and forth. And a guy who was picking up some dishes and speaking to a few folks. At this price point, staff should great and serve and provide an exceptional experience. Unfortunately mine was a waste of 30 minutes and off to find a restaurant with a staff that cares about their clientele. This was mentioned to management as we left. ------ I would like to add a few more comments to address the response below. 1. We came in for a meal, not a margarita. Thanks for the assumptions. 2. We were not created in time, take another look at your cameras. 3. When she delivered chips and salsa about 15 minutes after sitting there. She slammed them down and threw salsa all over the counter which she never cleaned. Never said anything just threw them down and went back to walking around the bar area.

I love Chile Rellenos, so that is what I chose for my lunch. It came smothered with their green chili and with some of those wonderful warm tortillas on the side. I paired mine with their Aqua Fresca, a slightly altered base of their Mexican Lager with the addition of Prickly Pear purée and Key Lime. It was refreshing and tasted like summer.
