I like the colors and ambiance the cafe wants to create, but the drinks were very whatever to me. The honeycomb latte tasted like a plain coffee with some milk. It really it had nothing special besides honeycomb bits on top. I think it would make it a little tastier or wow-ing if it had an actual honey taste to it or maybe stronger beans for the espresso too so it doesn't taste so flat. The biscoff latte was disappointing as well. Bitter at the first couple of sips and again, the only biscoff flavor you'd get was from the bits of it on top that you mix into it. Wasn't really wowed with either and if I had to go back, I'd try something else. For the price and .85¢ up charge of oat milk for the iced latte, I'd expect it to be better and also a little bigger. Cashier was nice and you have the option to use the kiosk as soon as you walk in or walk further down to get your order taken. read more

Came to check out this cute cafe last weekend with a friend! For starters it was bright w lots of plants and ample seating. We were able to figure out the ordering process and ordered from the kiosk w no problem. She got the tiramisu latte and loved it, and I had the lavender soy latte. My latte was delicious, and not too sweet. We both got the jalapeño egg croissant, which we liked. The eggs were fluffy, had just the right amount of spice from the spicy mayo/jalapeños, and the overall flavor was simple but satisfying. The only downside was the wait. our drinks and food took a long while to come out. Overall, the food and drinks were solid, and I'd definitely give this place another try. read more

Worst coffee on the island! I ordered a hot mocha and a tiramisu latte, and both tasted like nothing but warm milk with the faintest hint of coffee. It was incredibly bland and honestly one of the most disappointing coffee experiences I've had. We came because of the beautiful ambiance, but great decor can't make up for terrible drinks. Save your money and brew a drip coffee at home-it'll have more flavor than anything served here. read more

Pretty nice cafe overall. The staff speak Cantonese, and the space has an expanded, bar-style layout, though it doesn't seem like the bar itself is used much. I didn't try the food, but it looked popular with other customers. I got the matcha, which tasted good and well-balanced. The ambiance is great, with plenty of people working remotely. It's a comfortable spot to sit and get work done. Service: Friendly Food/Drinks: Matcha was smooth and enjoyable, food looked popular but didn't try it Ambiance: Spacious, calm, and ideal for remote work 9/10 A relaxed cafe with good drinks and a comfortable workspace vibe read more

I came on a Saturday for a book meetup event, and the cafe workers were really nice and even excited about our group of ~7 taking up a big table. It was also rainy so it felt like they weren't expecting such a big crowd, but they handled it really well. I got their hot chocolate and it was great for the rainy day. The bulgogi croissant was to die for!! Saucy, fulfilling and overall so good. Parking is street parking, so it could be tricky; but its cozy inside, and they have a restroom for use that is clean and spacious. Would definitely come again! read more

Walked in and initially tried to order via tablet, but we had a hard time ordering decaf. We walked towards the back of the shop and ordered at the cash register. I didn't order at first because I am tired of trying new drinks that aren't as good as I'd like them to be. So I tried my bff's hazelnut latte, and it was tasty! I decided to order a drink, and I had a hard time choosing between the honeycomb and biscoff lattes. The person working the cash register was very kind and helpful. Since I like my coffee drinks sweet, they suggested the Biscoff Latte. It was delicious, and I would come back and get it again or try another drink. As far as ambiance, it was a big space with double-height ceilings and nice decor. The chairs are ok, nothing to write home about. 2 agender bathrooms There were a lot of people working and meeting over coffee. PinkPantheress was playing read more

Very adorable new cafe in alameda and I'm all for it! I came here in the morning to work AND wanted to check this place out. Dandelion Kaffe immediately gives off cottage core vibes, coincidentally there was a customer who came in carrying a Kiki's delivery service tote bag, which I also have lol. I ordered the honeycomb latte and it was soo good. There are other drinks I want to try like their tiramisu lattes and matcha! The interior is so calming with the green serene vibes, abstract artwork, and even books as decor (Colleen Hoover hehe). You might have gotten yourself a regular! See you next time! read more

Great breakfast spot, unique and very flavorful options. I had the jalapeño egg sandwich and it was delicious. I will definitely be back! read more

haven't had a chance to eat here since the change from preachers daughter. the coffee though is still great. we enjoy the specialty flavors. cost is pretty decent for a good cup. clean bathrooms. plenty of outdoor seating. quick service. only recommendation would be finding a better way to display pastries without flies getting to them. read more

New coffee shop in Alameda! Located at the end of Park St with plenty of nearby plaza's to park in while you grab a drink. I was coming out of breakfast from Ole's down the street and decided to grab something for the road. Their matcha latte was actually really good, the matcha was a good consistency not too sweet and well balanced with the milk. It wasn't too busy when I came in but they also had an ordering kiosk if you don't want to wait. It was so cute and spacious inside, i'd definitely come here to catch up with a friend or do some studying/journaling. They have a pretty extensive food menu as well - will have to come back and try their other items! read more

They recently took over preachers daughter and I like how they kept the vibe the same. Food menu is different but they have a few of the same drinks just different recipies ofc. Only tried the pesto foccacia and tiramisu latte so far it was great although I wished the salad was a bit more with the dressing and portion since they are a bit on the pricier side but definitely worth it! There is a self service kiosk right in the frint or you can go towards the cafe bar and order with them. Orders do take a while to come out but also worth the wait. read more

So, this is my new favorite coffee spot in Alameda. The interior is great for drinking solo, connecting with friends, getting some work done. It's so pretty. The coffee and tea selection has classic and fun options. I tried the Iced Honeycomb Latte and fell in love e with life. Also the Iced Strawberry Matcha made me so giddy. Service came with recommendations and a smile when we came in and a thank you for coming when we left. I will definitely be back. Oh, and it's women-owned. read more

Cafe is nice and spacious. Good for studying or catching up with friends. The cashier was kind. It was first time here and I got an iced honeycomb latte with oatmilk (no 2% only whole milk, soy or almond) as I read the reviews prior and a lot of people raved about it but honestly I'd give it a 5/10... There's huge chunks of honeycombs which I don't mind but it made my drink taste so burnt? Not sure if that's how it's suppose to be but I couldn't even finish it which was wasteful. However, one drink doesn't define a whole establishment so I would still go back and try other drinks. read more

After picking up boots at The Cobbler in Hayward I still was rocking a horrendous head ache which I normally do not get. Not sure if it was from lack of coffee or sleeping weird since my right shoulder is all jacked up from the gym. Thinking its the later but was looking for coffee just in case. I drove by a couple of spots but looked like less desirable areas so moved on. Still needed the caffeine hit so stoppped in the recently opened Dandelion Kaffe. This was the Preacher's Daughter with coffee, wine, beer and spirits but no more. Just  coffee items and some food.  It's all pretty much the same,  just no alcohol. The Rockville  Bluetube amp is still by the back door busting out the tunes. There is a nice outdoor patio still and it can still get a little loud with the traffic. You can order at the counter or there is an order yourself and pay station by the front door. When I dropped in all the tables inside were occupied so that's good for business. After greasy newsomes shuting down restaurants and life over a cold/flu and destroying the restaurant economy as well as other businesses it's nice to see places opening and doing well. Nice place, local instead of the chains. Nothing really special but better than most. I'm working on my coffee with an espresso shot while writing this and it ain't working on my headache so I think its time to go and find some ibuprofen or tequila or both. Ibuprofen for the pain and tequila to relax neck and shoulder. read more

Came here for a Friday lunch w a girlfriend. We ordered the Spicy Seoul Bowl x2 and Tiramisu Latte and Biscoff Latté. The Seoul Bowl was beautiful (photo attached), needed more sauce tho (was a bit dry and lacked flavor), the chicken was very ordinary. The two lattes were also nicely done, I loved the tiramisu latte and thought that every cafe in the world should have this on the menu, it was perfectly sweetened and flavors went well together. Like a dessert in a cup . My friend who loves Biscoff cookies said her latte was ok, she didn't like how the cookies had later sunk to the bottom and was soggy. Generally could use some sweeping and wiping down of tables. We had to wipe down our table. Lots of flies also near the inside front door tables where we were sitting. Overall, a bit pricey for the simple lunch ($19.99 bowl and $6.50 latte + tax + tip= $33.31) The ambiance of this place is awesome. Would definitely come back for the tiramisu latte and try another item on the menu, maybe one of the sandwiches. read more

Very cute and modern atmosphere. The kind of place you'd bring a first date to signal to them that you read books and attend poetry readings on the weekend. The Tiramisu Latte was exquisite. It takes like how you'd imagine a slice of Tiramisu would if it decided to dress up as a classy, mid-day cocktail. Not too sweet, just right. The Bulgogi Croissant was very good as well. If you're concerned about looking demure to the people around you while eating it, don't order this one because you wont. If you couldn't care less like me, it's worth an awkward side-glance and a chuckle. It looks like a lot of food but it's still pretty light. A good brunch option. Next time I come back, I'll be bringing some sophisticated clients with me that I'll need to impress. I'll just need to find some first... read more

We ordered two drinks, the bulgogi croissant, and the salty/sweet toast. Strawberry Matcha Latte: 4/5 - I am not the hugest matcha connoisseur so I enjoyed the balance between the matcha and strawberry. It is not the strongest matcha but the drinks are a good addition to Alameda as we are lacking in matcha options here. Biscoff Latte: 3/5 - my husband got this drink and he said that he enjoyed it but it wasn't that special. This drink tends towards the sweet side. Salty/Sweet Toast: 3/5 - the flavors for this toast were pretty good! I enjoyed the sweet toast with the peaches, ricotta, honey, and almond. The balsamic glaze on the salty toast with the prosciutto and arugula was pleasant as well. However, I give this toast pair a 3/5 because they do not toast the bread. As a result, the hummus and ricotta made the bread kinda floppy and the texture wasn't as pleasant. Bulgogi Croissant: 3.5/5 - the seasoning for the bulgogi was really nice, there was a good balance between salty soy marinade and the gochujang sauce. The thinly cut cucumber was a good addition for texture and for cutting through the fattier meat. However, the croissant itself ran into a similar problem as the toast, as it was not toasted or not toasted a lot. I think it could have benefitted from having a more crunchy texture. Ambiance/Decor: 5/5 - the decor here was really aesthetic! I really enjoyed the plants all over and the paintings/art hung on the wall. read more

Cute, quaint, and aesthetically pleasing cafe down on Park, a busy street in Alameda. The menu goes beyond basics when it comes to coffees, so expect to have plenty of options when you come along. This is a great place to do work as well as chit-chatting with friends. I tried the tiramisu latte (it comes with a lady finger cookie!) and was able to sit around and get some work done with no issues with the wifi here during a 2 hour span. The high ceilings and the natural light, along with the beautiful green colors throughout really set a nice tone for productivity. Hopefully in the near future I can try out their food as well, but I can definitely vouch for the coffee! read more

We stopped in today and had a wonderful experience. Mom ordered the avocado toast, which was beautifully presented and came with a perfectly scrambled egg on the side. I went with the spicy chicken bowl -- absolutely delicious! The chicken was moist and tender, with just the right balance of spice and a touch of sweetness. The bowl was packed with fresh avocado, kimchi corn, and a colorful variety of vegetables. The space has been recently refreshed inside, giving it a brighter, more inviting feel. They still offer a great selection of coffee and pastries, and there's a lovely outdoor patio if you prefer to dine al fresco. Some friends and I went for brunch on MLK day, it was a little busy but we were able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful day. This is a wonderful location but that's not what the issue was with; it was the wait time.... We all ordered coffee and food expecting to receive our beverages first, which unfortunately didn't happen. As we watched tables receive food that was ordered after ours were placed, we were still excited because the plating was beautiful. But sadly our food and coffee came out an hour later.. food was tasty, meat tender, kimchi was also good but only 2/4 of our meals were plated to stay and enjoy while the other 2 were packaged to go and did not have silverware. Overall it was nice to try something new but I don't think we will be back. read more

Attitude of the young man server was extremely poor, bordering on surly...won't be back.

The set up is bizarre. Why is there a lovely bar but service is out of a corner in the back? Seating is odd and outside is half done. Drinks are oriented to the sweet and I wouldn't say the foam milk that great. The worker brought us our beverages which I appreciated. Don't intend to come back. read more

I really wanted to like this place because of all the great reviews, but the experience fell flat for me. When you walk in, there's no one to greet you, say hello, or even acknowledge you. Instead, you're met with an electronic self-order kiosk that feels more like checking in at an airport than entering a café. That might work for some people, but it definitely kills any sense of warmth or hospitality. If you're looking for a friendly, human experience, this isn't it. The staff in the back seemed busy and focused on calling out orders, but no one ever made eye contact or said "welcome" or "we'll be right with you." Maybe people love the drinks and pastries, but for me the vibe was cold and impersonal. I don't need over-the-top service -- just a sense that customers matter read more
