He is still the only plumber I use. He listens to concerns and investigates, never just waves it away. He cares about doing good work, will adjust his schedule to come out when needed and never does unnecessary work. He does help me spot things that will fail soon and does them - such as supply lines clogged by our very mineral water. His prices are always reasonable, and the work is well done. Before my recent divorce, I had worked with Dana to update our house in Temecula with a multitude of services. He always recommends the best product for the job and doesn't leave until everything is working right. I called Dana's Plumbing to have a bathroom faucet and toilet repaired or replaced. He was here in a timely manner. He told me what it was going to cost and gave me some options of very good quality products for replacement. He came back the next day with everything he needed. He gave me a very great price for all that he did and it looks and works great. He cleaned up everything didn't leave any mess whatsoever. He stayed and made sure everything was working as it should. He said I shouldn't have any issues but if I did he will come right back out to fix it. I will have him back to do any of my plumbing work from now on. I had a leak on main water line in my garage. My son opened up the wall and was very clean so I could send a picture. After I sent the picture he told me it would be $300. When he showed up and got out o his Van he said again about $300. He then looked at it and said due to the piping material which he could clearly see on the photograph it jumped to $695, really over double? We set appt. for following week. I agreed due to a referral. After he was done it was now $841????? From $300 to $ 841?I paid it due to he had done the work. I have since found out that I should have paid only $695 which was what was quoted. On the invoice he shows as per quote which was a lie, I am really not a fan of people who lie. He did good work but takes advantage. I have since had another plumber out and stated there was no way it should have been more than $500 and that was the high side of taking advantage. He was here few hours and the parts at home depot are $130 to $150. I talked to my neighbors who recommended him and they stated they had been taken advantage of once by him and let it pass but now are not using him either. I am very surprised to see the other review because that does not sound like Dana at all. I'm sorry he had a bad experience with Dana but both times I have used him, he has been great. Made a appointment for Dana's plumbing to come by and give me an estimate to replace some toilets a sink and a kitchen faucet. They gave me a two hour window which came a went without anyone showing up or bothering to pick up the phone and call letting me know they'd be late.
