We called Top Service Plumbing on August 13 th and they scheduled us for the next day. Sergio Gutierrez was our tech, super professional, explained everything, gave us a clear quote, and got to work right away. They fixed our kitchen sink and both showers and even removed an old water filtration system we weren't using anymore, hauling it away. He cleaned up after himself, too. Fast, courteous, and thorough. Highly recommend. I also think it's important to note that this is the second time we use Top Plumbing and it safe to say we will continue to do so. read more

Top Service Plumbing definitely provided top service! We had an issue with our toilet plumbing and they were prompt in their response and excellent in their repair service! They will definitely be my go to for plumbing needs. read more

I brought in Top Service Plumbing to install a HALO 2 water system, and the experience was top notch. My garage had recently been remodeled into a gym, so the plumbing had to be moved outside and run underground through the planter. They handled the entire relocation without issue and made everything look super clean. The extra effort really stood out -- they even painted the copper to match all my black powder-coated gym equipment, which most companies wouldn't bother doing. The end result looks sleek, intentional, and professionally done. Very happy with the quality of work and the attention to detail. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a plumbing company that actually cares about how the final product looks. read more

Reading Karen S. review, we basically went through the same tactic. Truly a lesson learned to look up Yelp first before going any further and to not just look at the good posts but to read the 1 star posts. I regret not looking them up for our 2nd visit. Turns out, during their 2nd visit my husband interacted with Adam and Adams mathematical tricks with giving us a $250 deduction and using $200 of that to purchase a future membership to have 15% discount on a $1700.00 estimate. Initially we only got a $50 dollar discount. I then basically took over these issues. I called another plumbing company to give us a quote on what Adam proposed. The quote was $1100.00 less than Adams for the exact same work! We of course, will never, never use Top Service Plumbing again and we HIGHLY recommend you steer far away from their dishonest business. Top Service Plumbing doesn't even deserve 1 star. Bad business, Bad management and Bad employee who victimizes. read more

TOTAL BAIT & SWITCH TACTIC Updating my experience from a 5-star. Their MO is to do very little on your 1st service/need to build trust. On our 2nd need (which was an emergency situation), they took full advantage of us, charging 3x what others quoted after-the-fact. Not to mention making the work unnecessarily complicated according to 2 other professionals we consulted. Jesse talks SO MUCH which serves to confuse and panic customers. On a related issue they found, he told us broken pipes were only 35-40 ft., explaining that fortunately that wasn't much at all so not a big job.... Then quoted us $17k for the fix!!(which we did not use them for, thankfully). Our sense is that they charge what they think a customer can afford to spend. They got us. Don't let them get you!! read more

Top Service Plumbing has helped our business with multiple ejector pump issues over the past year. Their pricing is fair, they are incredibly responsive, and their customer service is excellent. A special shout-out to the owner, Jesse. He has consistently gone above and beyond for us, often accommodating difficult or time-sensitive scheduling on our end. His effort and care have not gone unnoticed! read more

I had to come out look at my tankless water heater. I told them it was code 11 which means the gas is not firing for their evaluation of what I already knew is $450 then they wanted to charge me 750 for the part coming from the vendor which was free just to install a part which turns out I didn't need the electrical just need to be plugged in in a little tighter so overcharging and not necessarily knowing what they're doing read more

Exceptional Emergency Plumbing Service! I can't say enough good things about the incredible service I received! I discovered a leak in my kitchen but was not able to locate the source. We called Top Service Plumbing Co. Inc. and their team responded immediately. They were calm, professional, and reassuring. Within the hour, a technician arrived, fully equipped and ready to work. They quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly, and had the repair done faster than I ever expected. Not only was the problem fixed perfectly, but they also made sure everything was clean before they left -- you'd never know there had even been a leak. It's rare these days to find a company that's this responsive, professional, and genuinely cares about their customers. I'm beyond grateful for their quick action and expert work. Highly recommend them to anyone who needs reliable, honest, and top-quality plumbing service -- especially in an emergency! read more

I had a leak coming from under our sink. I called one local plumbing service who rescheduled our appointment one week out, Top Service came to the rescue. They were able to send Ery the following day. He was polite and quick in completing his preliminary inspection on a Saturday. Jesse came on Monday to conduct a further inspection and give some options in fixing our slab leak. We selected to repipe our home. Everything was done in one day with the help of a very large crew. Top Service was also able to coordinate a water heater swap due to a separate issue, thank you to Ery and Brian. In one week, all of our plumbing issues were solved along with adding a few more requests, outside sink connection and new water source in our kitchen to move our fridge. Thank you Jesse and your team for the quick service and the one to one talk we had. I am glad I went with you for our plumbing needs. read more

When hiring someone for plumbing leaks you can do your due diligence in researching the internet etc. but it is still a roll of the dice. You are truly at the mercy of their knowledge, character, monetary costs and caring about the client in solving the problem. I have found this company to be lacking in all areas. Without going into a long drawn out details I can honestly say I would never recommend this company or use them again. Here goes: The original quote was based on a more aggressive and time consuming project. They lowered the cost when it was determined the job was confined to a specific area less time and fix. Then changing the cost upping the price at the "last minute" in order to complete the job or walking "simple unbelievable and unethical". When you are told that your opinion doesn't matter and when you asked who the owner is they refuse to tell you, lots of red flags here. I wish you all the best in searching for a professional plumbing service. My advice is always look at how the company responds to negative comments from previous clients. This may shed light on the true core of the company's character, values and if they have narcissist traits such as this company. Good Luck All read more

We used Top Services plumbing back in May 2023 when we discovered a leak under our raised foundation home - Ery came out and discovered the main water line coming in from outside the home was corroded and leaking from said copper line - they said $1500.00 to replace it and being a Saturday we grudgingly gave the okay thinking replacing 10 ft of 3/4 inch copper line for that price was outrageous - it took 2 hours - being a businessman and costs of doing so - basically $70 in parts and $1430 in labor - makes them fetching $715 an hour- my Cardiologist gets $600 an hour and saves lives - these guys are not that professional - even engineers don't get paid that much - fast forward to yesterday - we had Top Services come out to repair a leak at our home and quoted us to $1800.00 to replace a 1 foot section of PEX - waterline - I said that is insane and the plumber got Jesse on the phone to which Jessie didn't offer any explanation to such high charges = basically too bad - he can charge what he wants - I told them we will find someone else and Top Services said you owe us $129 for the service call and I said nope - we found another company who would charge us $400- we went with them - after they examined the situation they found 6 other leaks - all vermin related where they chewed thru the lines - they also found where Top Services brought in the main line in their repairs in May 2023 - they didn't secure the opening in the wall where the pipe came in - we had the place vermin proofed years earlier - and Top didn't secure the steel mesh back over the opening - just leaned it against the wall - which allowed vermin to gain access and do damages - besides the plumbing - they attacked our walls and floors - again - no vermin issues 12 years prior - I contacted Top Services by E-mail this morning explaining the situation and requesting help being so we are both elderly veterans and not made out of money- and my wife is disabled and on oxygen - lets work out a deal to resolve the problem with their negligence to secure the work area - and as Jesse says : "leave the place in better shape than before" or something of that nature - I got a call from a Top Services lady claiming to be a manager - who said we are not doing anything to help and we have pictures showing the access area was secured - I asked for those pictures with no response other than good luck and don't ever call us again - Rude as heck - I was expecting an answer that they were willing to look into the problem and see what we could work out - I was not looking for something for free - but by their reaction I can only surmise they deny in hopes to have a customer to back down - I don't - there is professional curtesy and they lack in that ability - I ask again to Jesse to reach out to me before I decide on a quote to re pipe due to damages from another plumbing company - or take legal actions - I have to decide by the close of business on 12/23/2024 due to no hot water because of leaks and cold water leaks- my disabled wife needs those services for her health and well being - my next stop is the California Consumer Affairs complaints department - business contractors board - lets resolve this Jesse - read more

We had an issue with our valves connected to our toilet today. We called around 4pm and the lady we spoke to was super nice. She let us know that someone would be over around 6pm. She let us know the minimum charge since it would be after-hours. They're very honest! Anthony serviced our place this evening. He called beforehand to let us know he was on our way - very nice. He came in and checked it out and let us know the possible price. There would be a few things for him to look at before giving us the final price but right from the beginning, they're very honest and transparent! He was able to finalize the price and get everything done in half an hour!!!! So quick! Very professional, very kind. I appreciated that he put shoe covers on every single time he went in the house. He'd take it off before going out - great! I will definitely use them again if I ever need a plumber. I'm so satisfied! read more

(Updated from 1 star to 5 star, my old review will remain for context but that is all. I sincerely believe that Jessie wants best for his clients) . Jessie the owner contacted me to help myself understand what may have happened. I completely see and understand what has happened, in fact if anyone reads my old review below. I see why one of the workers arrived at the house. Basically to make sure that the builder doesn't play a quick one on us. Anyway, our conversation ended great with a newfound respect for Jesse and his business. . . . . tldr: I feel robbed of $150 over miscommunication, the actual work was excellent the customer service not so much. This is a tricky review to write because, this isn't about the work done also I don't write very many reviews let alone 1 star reviews . The work done was excellent and the value was great! What killed it for me is the customer Service. We didn't see eye to eye no matter how long we were on the phone going back and forth. Anywho, this is probably a rare situation with this company but it still happened so... We were charged a $150 cancellation fee due to what I believe was miscommunication. Because of the miscommunication we the client had to pay the consequences... Most companies understand that miscommunication can happen, they call no foul and everyone walks away happy. But this company had the customer pay for it lol. We called for an appointment everything went well. Except, unknowingly there was a signing for what we thought was an invoice but in fact a contract. We have signed this "contract" on an iPad with a blank signature page maybe the screen was pre-zoomed in I don't know, except for the fact that the page was blank. Where we might of messed up is assuming that we're signing a invoice. Here's the thing... It's normally common practice for companies to explicitly say something along the lines that you're about to sign a contract or even let's go over the contract, none of which happened so we signed let me remind you, we we're thinking that it's a invoice. Anywho, a few hours passed and we got news that our house builder will repair everything free of charge. So we called top service plumbing and told them about the situation and not to send anyone. They said that they'll tell the workers off and make note of it. Finally the day to work is upon us and the workers showed up still although they shouldn't have, also... what about that note (miscommunication)? Naturally we had to turn them away, the problem though? A $150 cancellation fee, even though the supervisor/manager said that there is a 3 day cancellation policy in the contract that I don't recall signing... Well the day of work was exactly on the 3rd day plus the workers shouldn't have showed up... So I told them... Ok, I'll exercise that 3 day policy... Then literally the company said that I have exercised the 3 day policy but that the $150 is for credit card fees, not cancellation lol... Like "what the **** is exactly going on" is what I'm thinking... So I explained to them no one mentioned a $150 credit card fee for using a credit card, I mean when fees are attached to using credit it's quite obvious like all the cashier's from brick and mortar spots will tell you this kind of info, even my ice cream truck lady told me about added fees. But not this company apparently, they'll let you swipe away! Or perhaps they're not telling the full truth? I'm not sure but I'm sure that they have my $150 which fortunately my personal bank and builder both said they'll take the debt but that isn't the point. I feel robbed from this place and it really sucks writing this review because the work that they did do was real good... I understand that the customer isn't always right, they already made almost $600 from us for the work. Why not side with miscommunication and give back our $150? I'm not even blaming anyone here, it's just a better business practice to side with the client especially if it's over a miscommunication via the phone, the contract that didn't look like a contract etc... read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I called yesterday 12/18 and was given a 2 hour window for today 12/19, between 8 and 10am. When no one showed up by 940am, I called to confirm someone would be coming, and was told they had a delay with a previous job (understandable, it happens, but a courtesy call would have been nice). I was given a new 2 hour window, between 12 and 2pm. At 1210 I received a text that the technician was on his way. Moments later, I received a call from the technician who told me it was a mistake and he was really not on his way. He said he was told to go to a different location before coming to my house. He could not give me a timeframe because he didn't know how long the job would take. The person on the phone (Brandy) was short and rude. She did not want to hear what I had to say and was quickly just willing to cancel the request instead of trying to satisfy a customer. I guess they don't need the business. This is the first time I leave a negative review on Yelp. As it stands now, I am waiting for service with an unknown ETA. Wasted an entire day for this company. I'm wondering if their work performance will be just as horrible. I have requested to speak with the owner, but I have not received a call. **UPDATE** After submitting this review, I received a call from Summer who identified herself as management. She was very nice and said she would give me the weekday rates, instead of weekend after hour rates. At 3:11pm a technician finally showed up to look at my garden drain. He quickly told me it would require a hydro jet. He went back to his truck to obtain pricing and returned to tell me they would give me a 15% discount and do the job for $840 but there would be no guarantee that hyrdrojetting would solve the problem and I would still be obligated to pay the $840 regardless. After waiting ALL DAY, and wanting to have the issue resolved, I agreed to the job. The technician then asked, "When do you want it done, tomorrow?" I was shocked that Top Service Plumbing would send a technician out without the necessary tools to do the job. Especially since I told them the issue over the phone. The technician told me if I insisted, he would go to Lake Elsinore and pick up the equipment and return in 2 to 3 hours. I denied their service since it would require me to take a day off work to have them do it tomorrow. The technician said, "No problem, that will be $98 for having us come out." This is ridiculous and very bad business. The technician was at my house for literally 15 minutes (evidenced by my cameras that recorded the interaction) and did ZERO work, except to tell me what I already knew it needed. I refused to pay $98 and the technician left. I called and attempted to speak to Summer about the issue. The after hours operator said she spoke to Summer and said management would be calling me about this issue later, possibly tomorrow. There are plenty other plumbing companies out there. I recommend you read the other negative (1 star) ratings for this company and you will see the negative complaints are similar to mine. read more
