I called them and five other plumbing companies for quotes to install two toilets I had purchased. Top service came in with the lowest bid to do the job but told me that if I did not replace some piping for the toilet that they would not warrantee the job for risk of a leak. None of the other companies that I spoke to and gave the same scenario of installing two toilets being supplied by myself, mentioned the need to replace any pipes. And I found the idea of bringing up possible leaks as a red flag and ultimately Making the decision not to use them. read more

He even gave me a plumbing quote when the last Plummer's at R&R Plumbing failed to give me a work estimate because the mold in a section of the house was to hazardous for them to even enter. On Super Bowl Sunday I had a flood in my laundry room after the faucet behind my washer broke as I tried to turn it off. That triggered a geyser; water everywhere. I needed a plumber ASAP. I called several plumbers who told me they could not help me until the next day. My husband insisted that no one would be available due to the football game. However, then I spoke to Jesse from Top Service who had a plumber at my home within the hour. When Timothy arrived he surveyed the problem and capped the pipe. We were able to resume using our water immediately. He promptly returned the next morning and finished the job by cutting into the drywall and removing the old connection heads (which were practically immovable). He replaced the washer hookups, as well as the connection heads, and put in a new washer box. Timothy was very courteous, professional, and reliable. His workmanship was excellent. Thank you Timothy. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, THEY RIP YOU OFF. On April 12th 2022, I had a pipe leak in a rental house in Lake Elsinore less then 1 mile from their shop. Leak was located in the garage from a pipe going through the floor to the shower directly above (completely accessible from the garage). Tenant shut off the water and called me. I called Top Service plumbing, was told the call would be $230.00 rather then the normal $150.00 I agreed and they sent a plumber Jeff, he arrive around 4:30 decided to have him cap off the pipe to stop the leak before he arrived and I let tenant know so he could advise the plumber. The Plumber arrived and called me and I confirmed the instruction. Plumber cut out a length of the galvanized pipe with a saw and disconnected the coupling and replaced it with a 1/2" ball valve We could now turn the water back on, total time to fix according to my tenant was 30 minutes. Plumber called me for payment, TOTAL COST $901.25. I asked the plumber why so expensive and he laughed and started to BS with me about the outrageous prices he charges for simple plumbing jobs. I called the office the next day and asked to speak with the owner or a supervisor to complain before posting a bad review and was told they would call me later when the are in the office. Called two more times and I am still waiting for a return call. Bottom line I was ripped of by the company it is astonishing they charge this much for 30 minutes of work. On July 3, 2019, I believed we discovered a slab leak. I called my home warranty company and they set me up with Top Service Plumbing. On the 4th of July, the company called and set up an appointment for July 5th. Jeff R. arrived on time and immediately diagnosed not one but two slab leaks. Due to the nature of the leak, I wanted it repaired as quickly as possible. I asked about scheduling and her responded, "I'll be here at 8 o'clock in the morning". He arrived at my home on July 6th at 8 AM to repipe my hot water. He WORKED HIS BUTT OFF!! After bypassing the initial two leaks, he checked his work and discovered a third "pin hole" leak. He continued his work. In total, he was at my house for 13 hours and was not satisfied until every aspect of the repair was perfect. Due to his expertise and experience, he was able to minimize the amount of holes that had to be cut in the walls. When we first met Jeff, we knew this guy had a lot of experience and was the right guy for the job. He took his time, explained everything IN DETAIL and kept us informed throughout the entire job. I had a clog in the master bathroom shower. Called Top Service Plumbing as I had used them once before about 4 years ago and they were great. They have a real person who answers the phone. She got me scheduled right away. Luis came out, calling 1/2 hour ahead to let me know he was on his way and arrived on time. Luis is very professional, courteous, and cares about your home. He explained what he was going to do and showed me the results of what he found. He was very thorough with his explanations. While here, I had him check a sink that was draining slow, and he was able to clear that clog also. He provides tips on how to keep it clean and what not to do. To start, this isn't a review of their actual plumbing services. However, I take real issue when a business is unwilling to fulfill their commitments, particularly for a major issue like a drain clog. I called Friday night as we believed our main line was clogged. They said they would be there Saturday morning between 8 and 10. We later found out it was the kitchen drains only, but they were backed up into the laundry room. We had a crazy Saturday morning but I was hoping we were going to be the first call of the day. At 8:40 AM, I hadn't heard or seen anyone, so I called to see if we could reschedule for the afternoon. The girl on the phone was very nice and said no problem, it will be 1-3 or 2-4 time slots same day. I said no problem, see you then. I then received a phone call about 2:40 pm on Saturday to let me know they were "backed up" and couldn't arrive until Monday morning between 10 and 12. We are a family of 6, so I wasn't up for having no laundry or kitchen available until Monday morning for a company that had said they could come out Saturday afternoon...and had then completely knocked out the ability for me to call someone else Saturday. She offered a discount, but I really don't care about that...I wanted a kitchen sink and laundry room that worked. She basically said nothing she could do, and we ended the call. I am sure based on the reviews their plumbing services are good, and the price we discussed initially seemed reasonable, but if you can't count on them to show up to fix your issue, none of that really matters. I called someone else late Saturday and they are coming Sunday morning. They were actually even cheaper. So my advice would be if you schedule with these people, and it is an emergency, make sure they are actually going to show up..my advice to the business is if you don't think you can make an emergency call, don't commit to it and waste nearly an entire customer's day waiting for you to show up for a call you can't make. We used Top Service Plumbing for a remodel. It was hard to believe how many times they had to come back to fix their mistakes that shouldn't have even happened. For example, four out of six toilets leaks, our master toilet was plumbed with hot water. The tub fixtures weren't installed properly, which we didn't know until the cleaning crew came, there was water everywhere and I had to pay for the cleaning crew to come back another day to clean these bathrooms. With all these mistakes and more, Jesse never took the time to call or to offer to take care of the extra expenses. He did keep sending people but they would never take a minute to check their work until my husband told them they weren't leaving until they walked the job with him. Jesse and his team are wonderful! We loved how transparent they are with their service. Not only did they explain every detail of their work, they gave estimates and options, wore covers on their shoes in the house AND stayed until past 8:30 pm up to their hips in a ditch full of water just to make sure we were able to shower and use our restrooms that night! They are coming back for phase II of repairs (the not urgent ones) and we have nothing but trust for Jesse and his team! We are so lucky to have found such a fair and efficient company to work with! Side note.....they offer military discounts too! Part two of our repairs are complete! Again, Jesse and his team stayed well past 8 pm to finish the job. They came back the next morning to clean up more! They stuck to their price quoted even though they came across other issues.
