The issue here was what I was quoted for on repairs. Extremely expensive... for example my A/C was not working as there was a leak in the condenser. They quoted me $849.35 to repair the A/C, replace condenser, relay, and charge air conditioning system. I fixed the A/C for less than $80... bought a condenser for $25 and the charge for the A/C for less than like $15 and i was able to replace the condenser in less than 3 hours... They never worked on my car so I can't speak on what they are capable of but in terms of trust. I would be careful and get second opinions.

We had to call every few days to get an update or we would hear nothing. We finally got the car back after about 2 1/2 weeks. It seemed to run fine. After a few months, however, we were still having transmission issues and were provided diagnostic codes when we took it to a near by auto part store. Fine. It's under warranty. We take the car back to the shop. Our vehicle sat at the shop for legitimately 1.5 weeks with little to no calls or updates. We finally retrieved our car without our warranty repairs as we were given excuses about how short staffed they were and how someone had jury duty, blah, blah, blah. Meanwhile, we're renting cars, taking Lyfts, Ubers, etc... all while the car is just sitting there. Simply said, this shop does not honor their warranty or at least not with any urgency at all. If you have 100 years to wait.. then maybe your experience could be different.

Rarely do you find a company who's customer service and craftsmanship are next level, High-Tech…read moreTransmission IS that company! I shopped everywhere for transmission service, only wanting the best since our 2012 Lexus LS 460 that was used to the pampering it received from the Lexus dealership service departments. So when we decided that a transmission replacement was the way to go I found High-Tech transmissions using Yelp. With many reviews north of 95% positive I did not let the distance from our home to the shop get in the way, and I'm glad that I didn't. After pickup I purposely waited a few weeks before tendering a review so that if I needed to return the vehicle for any reason I could judge their temperament completely (many service providers are angels until they get paid, and when something goes wrong afterwards they evolve into demons, not these guys). Wayne & his team were true and genuine good people. I returned the car a week after pickup because I heard unfamiliar noises coming from the rear tires that I thought was related to the transmission upgrade. Although it was a nothing burger Wayne was cool, calm and easy going about it. Now our car is a lean mean driving machine that handles like new. We are so happy having found High-Tech Transmissions. So, if you need transmission work and you want a complete service experience it would be a mistake to take chances, get your car to High-Tech Transmissions, you won't regret it. These guys are the real deal. THANKS WAYNE!!!

After some back and forth in which I provided more context and he answered all of my questions, we mutually agreed on a solution that made the most sense. The quote went from being $2,000+ to about $500. I felt that his willingness to dialogue with me made all the difference, and I could tell quite plainly that he was completely honest, experienced, and also straightforward. Sure enough, he was able to work some magic on my catalytic converter, replace some spark plugs, and tweak a couple other things here and there. I originally took the car because it had failed an emissions inspection. When I arrived to pick it up, I found that he had taken the liberty of bringing the car to an emissions place and had already gotten it passed. The paperwork was sitting on my dashboard. It's been about 3 months since then; I wanted to wait some time to confirm that my issues would not return. Sure enough, my check engine light has not come back and my car has been operating perfectly. Thanks again, A&S.

The Jeep passed Emission Testing a week later (yeah!) and is running well. We still "heard a noise" and brought it back for another inspection. The Wright Team inspected the Jeep and determined that an inexpensive repair by the former owner (strut assembly) was causing the noise. They determined it was not a safety issue and advised we could wait, or repair. I appreciated their honesty as my goal is to provide my youngest daughter with a safe vehicle to use in College. Wright could easily have told me "it's a safety issue" and I would have paid for the repair but they were honest, and they have earned my business for many, many years. If you need an honest and very capable repair shop, THIS is the place.
