The cheap key fob replacement they sold me died only a few months later. I call them to get a replacement or new battery and they claim "I am not in their system". I ask to send them the receipt (I still have the receipt) or give them the receipt number and they claim they can't look up past receipts. I call them back to still try and resolve the issue and then they claim to be another company called 24/7 Key Service. This place is a definition of a scam. Scum of the earth type of people. Like a dummy, I lost my car keys while at the lake with my family. Somehow, we turned the car on and then lost the keys and only realized the next morning. PROS: Speedy service Polite technician Quickly fixed what we needed fixed (keys wouldn't go into front door lock) CONS: We paid $90 for someone to spray WD-40 in our door. I know it costs money to send people out to complete jobs but don't know that I'd feel right charging that much for a 30 second fix if I were a business owner. It was the agreed upon price but like I said, a 30 second fix. We're first time homeowners and have never dealt with this before so we will take it as a lesson learned. read more

This guy knows his craft and is smart enough to be competitive and easy going. The dealership itself admitted that they could not make a chipped key for me but suggested that If I paid an extra $125 they could have someone else do it and pocket the profit. They think suckers are born every minute and that 12-year-old Kia Drivers have that much disposable income. Don't even think about visiting South Altanta Kia on Thornton Road. They are required to oversell and maximize commissions even if they cannot do the work. Another easy fix by a body shop that cost me $30 was quoted by this dealership at around $350. (it was to reinstall a removable seat). They said they charge a minimum hourly amount no matter what the repair and wanted 2-3 hours to do something extremely easy. Remember, the body shop only charged $30 and that represents a profit so you know it was easy. This gentlemen met me in 20 degree weather and cut a key for me from the back of his van while i went and got grub. He was a fraction of the price and I was eager when he said he could also program Key Fobs for me. Ordered 2 from Ebay, went back to him and he programmed them for a very reasonable price. The law supports business ripping off any otherwise non savvy customer, so beware and shop around!!!! They are very expensive. They tell you one price and after the key is made it is a different price. Waited 45 minutes for the technician to arrive. I locked my keys in the trunk. They quoted me $19 to come out and minimum $39 for service. Fair. When he got there he said to complete this type of work it would cost $139 total to get the keys out of the trunk. OK. Fine. He set off the security system unlocking the door. So the car locked up and the trunk wouldn't open. To open the back seat you need to do it through the trunk. So we couldn't get in. He said he would need to purchase and program a key fob. That would cost $325 We are about 2 hours into the service now. It's rental car so towing it back to the rental company would be cheaper than that. I said forget it I'll get a tow. He said that's fine. After I call and schedule the tow he said it would be $50. Why? The charge to come out is $20. You basically just wasted my time and failed. How am I paying for anything more than a charge to come out. Ugh horrible. read more
