The respective cylinders are not the same and normally not interchangeable. That said, Chris took the time to review various approaches others had tried and a video showing the internals of our new lock, within minutes found a part he had that might work, and agreed to come out see if it could be done. In the end the cylinder that he had was a very near match but required a modification which he made on site. The lock now functions perfectly as before but can be opened with our existing house keys. He even made us some extra KW keys while he was here. If the electronic lock ever has an unexpected battery outage, we can open it with our house key, no need to carry a separate key around, which is what we wanted. Super knowledgeable, super nice guy. Highly recommended.

I spoke directly with Danny. The interaction was not courteous, and I was told I would receive a callback with pricing and service timing after he spoke with his technician. I waited. After about an hour passed with no return call, I called back thinking I might have missed it. He again stated he had not yet spoken with the technician but promised to call me back. That call never came. I understand that small businesses get busy. What's not acceptable is telling a customer multiple times that you'll follow up and then not doing so. Clear communication is basic customer service. Before posting this, I took a moment to read other reviews, and it appears there may be a pattern of similar complaints about follow-ups and communication. That's concerning because reliability and responsiveness are critical when you're calling a locksmith. I'm sharing this so others can make informed decisions. Good technical work doesn't outweigh poor communication. If you can't take a job, just be upfront -- people plan their time around these calls.

They did well in adjusting the new garage door to fit my house's wall frame. They also cleaned up and hauled away the all old garage door and parts before leaving. All in all, excellent performance. Aaron Overhead Door worked on my garage door before so it's great to know they still maintain the quality in their work. The only small issue I had was the limit of their inventory. I was told that there's only one option in stock for the garage door size of my house. My garage is the normal 2 doors residential type. The inspector said if I want to see more options, the wait might be 16 weeks which is a very long time. So it feels like there's no other choice. Again, the service, the communication, and the products are all great. I just hoped that for something as big budget as garage door, there would be more options to choose.

The poor garage door install would also in the long term lead to damages to the door as well. Without Joe pointing this out we would incur unplanned expenses in the future. We reached out to the garage door installer to address the issue, something they didn't want to do as the warranty had expired. They did make some minor adjustments, but only time will tell if it will do the job. At least Joe and Aaron's pointed out the issue. I can't say enough about this company. Jeff is absolutely amazing. Like I told him I am normally the one asking where the keys are before the door shuts. That did not happen the other day at the store. I actually called someone else and they gave me the number to Jeff. Thank you for that. I broke my only car key in half and the dealer wanted $245 to get me a whole new fob AND I had to tow the car to them. Jeff was able to come out to us within an hour and he replaced the broken metal, made me a spare AND gave me a key that will open the doors all for less than the dealer wanted for a new key.
