Kevin is very knowledgeable, experienced and professional. He educated me on issues that hadn't occurred to me and left my house safer than when he found it. I needed several locks rekeyed to match one and I was fortunate that he was able to come out on the day I called so I didn't even have to wait. I'm happy with the work he did and everything he worked on works more smoothly now. I feel like I definitely got a ton of value in security, convenience and speed for what I paid. I would highly recommend him to anyone. read more

Imagine this, it's Friday a little after midnight, the phone rings someone needs your mobile notary service. You book the appointment and you're set but you have to stop by the house to print off a document that needs to be notarized. You arrive at your house and your door key doesn't work....WTF and nobody's home. Plus, you have to use the bathroom bad and you just booked an after midnight appointment. You start thinking why can't my key open this freaking door OMG... It did earlier. Then you're like crap, now I got to break into my own house, how much that going to cost me etc? After a few deep breaths, I then remembered, the 24 hour outdoor bathroom stall was open...well, I was able think a bit clearer... ahhhh. The spirit said, call a locksmith. First I'll start off by saying that I hope to never be in the position to ever need a locksmith again, but if by chance I am, Kevin Wilson is my first and only choice. He came out after 5pm on a Friday night to assist me with getting into a safe of a deceased loved one. Of course I had all paperwork needed on my end to gain access, but once Kevin learned why I was obtaining his services he was very very empathetic and sympathetic to my situation which is a quality I just don't see much in the world anymore. The job itself was even much quicker than he anticipated to while he was on site I had him open two other locks that I could not locate the key to. Throughout the entire process Mr. Wilson was professional, courteous, and very respectful. Should the need arise again I would definitely obtain Mr. Wilson's services again. read more

I just had such a great experience with these guys. First, the scheduling was easy. Kevin answered the phone himself each time that I called, and explained the process for installing keypad locks on some of my interior doors (note: you'll order these yourself on Amazon or get them at Home Depot or a similar store). He explained that I'd receive a text confirmation from a particular area code. He also had me text him photos of one of my doors for another type of lock I was having him install. Second, our installer, Glenn, arrived on time and was quite friendly and professional. He did a fantastic job with our interior keypad locks and our other installation. He even tightened up some loose screws he noticed while he was performing the installations. The whole process from start to finish was quick and painless and extremely reasonably priced. These guys also perform security checks of your house, which I may have them come back to do. I highly, highly recommend them and I will definitely have them back for any future locksmith or security assessment needs. read more

I contacted Mr. Wilson on September 6, 2019 based on the reviews I've read. I contacted Mr. Wilson around 3:30pm and at the time of my call he stated he was on a job and he contact me once he was done. As of September 7, 2019 at 10:27am I've yet to receive a call back. I'm sure he provides quality service however I'm not please with his lack of communication as promised. I'll reach out to another locksmith who's willing to not only provide quality service but effectively communicate with potential customers. read more

I had an unfortunate break in on a vacant rental home. The door was ripped off the hinges and torn off the frame, so I needed someone fast. It was Saturday night of a holiday weekend. Kevin returned my call on Sunday morning and was at the property that afternoon. He gave me different options and let me make my own decisions without any pressure. That said, Kevin was very knowledgeable and I was happy to consider his suggestions. He rebuilt the broken door (the framing was very well done) and reinforced the front door. Kevin sent me regular text updates and answered all of my many calls. I even got a video of him and his partner working on the new door. I'm grateful for the fast service that Kevin provided - on the Sunday of a holiday weekend no less! read more

Very responsive, Kevin was able to have his son help my neighbor get into her house after she accidentally locked herself out. He lubricated and tightened the door hardware and informed her that if she is interested in upgrading the security of the door so it will resist being kicked in, to give them a call. WEARS A GWINNETT COUNTY ID BADGE! This is important so you know you are dealing with a real locksmith and not a poser. There are many "locksmiths" who are scammers, so beware of any offer that sounds too good to be true. If Kevin Wilson's crew is too booked to help you, then try Lock, Stock & Barrel or (hang on, I need to look up the other locksmith that was recommended and was helpful over the phone but was too booked to help) I will update this review soon. http://youtu.be/H5VdGlWMKMA read more

Look no further. Fair prices and honest work. I've been a small business owner for more then twenty years. Nearly everyone of my interactions with "locksmiths" have been disastrous because it's an industry that is rife with scam artist. First of all, Kevin is responsive. When I called, I left a message and he called back quickly, apologizing for not answering right way. I was having trouble with a lock where the key was getting stuck and would not come out. He and an assistant came out on the scheduled day and fixed it in a matter of minutes. They also noticed that you had to push the door closed to latch the lock. They went to the truck, got a grinding tool, and opened up the hole for the deadbolt so that it could go in easier. A couple of days later, I had trouble with the lock again. Kevin came out the same day to fix it without charge. It was something peculiar with my lock where the wrong cylinder size was installed by the guy who did the door. Once again, he fixed it within minutes. I will definitely use Kevin again for all lock issues. read more

From our initial phone conversation Kevin Wilson presented as being very knowledgeable, concerned with providing the best solution to my problem and willing to work within my schedule and budget. When I promised to get back to him after securing a few more quotes, he assured me his company was professionally licensed and used only bonded technicians with the ability to cut keys right from the truck. After deciding to utilize Mr. Wilson's services he graciously worked within my schedule to have a technician onsite soon after I arrived home. Glenn was very personable and immediately assessed the situation and offered a very viable solution that costs much less than originally quoted. Glenn was very skilled, knowledgeable and evidently an experienced craftsman. He secured my home and offered very prudent advice throughout his visit. Only the Best Locksmith I'll ever use.!! I am a caregiver for disabled Veterans in Snellville, Ga. I somehow, (ha) locked myself out of my room, never the less I only had a community phone book available since the computer and all phone numbers in phone were, (you got it) locked in the room. I called the locksmith that looked the best and Kevin himself answered, (that was awesome) he tried to get me help right away but his contacts were busy too. He then said he would come himself after his appointment about an hour 15 min. I said okay. Kevin showed up right as he said he would and got me in my room quickly. The cost was just as he stated it would be, no hidden fees. I have dealt with other locksmiths before and Kevin is by far the most sincere and credible. The picture in the phone book actually was him and his van, (with a bright Logo) Kevin Wilson MASTER LOCKSMITH !! I thank You read more

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! I called Kevin at 7 o'clock at night yesterday... Two days before Christmas, and he answered on the first ring! I am going through a divorce, and my family and I decided that we needed to have my house re-keyed. Immediately. Kevin told me that he had something going on at 8:30 PM, but that he could meet me at my house by 7:50 & get the job done. He gave me a fair quote, I accepted, and I got a text message letting me know that he was on his way and what time he would arrive. He arrived at 7:49 pm! And was very nice and kind! He was able to rekey three doors that had multiple locks and be finished in less than an hour!! He also tightened the locks that were a little loose and door handles! He then asked me to check and see that all of the locks worked with the keys that he gave me and that I was completely satisfied before being finished. I was really excited to feel safe in my home again and I would totally recommend him to anyone else! Thank you Kevin for coming so quickly on short notice, and doing an incredible job! read more

I contacted Mr. Wilson to change the locks of my new home. He gave me the price and the appointment date. After waiting two weeks for him, he came without the correct locks and without any helper. So he started the job, charged $295 for two door locks from Home Depot, he didn't finish that day and the worst part was, he caused a short circuit to my house when he used long screws instead of shorts one. I did call an electrician and told me that the locksmith was not careful doing his job and that was the cause of the short circuit. Two days later he sent his helper to finish the job, we explained what happened and he called Mr. Wilson but to our surprise he was very rude and didn't take responsibility for the issue he caused. He said the problem was from the builder of the house. I told him to show more empathy towards the situation, and remembered him that he was the one to be here, not his helper to finish the job. He once again deny responsibility, he mentioned that he has insurance, but he was not going to use it and told me he has better projects to work than finishing my home. Neither he offered any solution nor did he come to see what happened. In the end I paid for the electrician and a contractor. I don't recommend him. He lacks of professionalism, bad customer service, expensive for Schlage door locks that you can find and install yourself; and not a person you can trust. Also he is not BBB accredited. read more

The call for replacement locks was promptly returned and the scheduling updates and reminders were texted. Glenn was on time and had the correct part for a complicated 3 point Pella door that another locksmith was unable to repair. The replacement locks on our other doors were excellent quality locks.
