The atmosphere and ambiance of the place is good the food is great but it's more an issue I guess with me vs the place and should have done more research. Considering we're are in 2017 it would have been the last thing on my mind to check for. This was one timer for me. I ordered the steak omelette and instead of giving me ribeye or some variation of quality steak. It seemed that it was a cut up piece of cube steak that you make out chicken fried steak. It was hard, no seasoning. And the side of pancakes were hard that the cake itself was crumbling as you tried to cut into the pancake. And it tasted like flour. Terrible food. Will not be going back. I have been here twice so far, once for breakfast, the other for dinner. Veggie omelette with a Greek salad...excellent. Belgian waffle with crispy bacon, as requested. The only glitch was no real butter, just a blend. Pancakes with scrambled eggs...great. Service was better than most. Good job Ricardo! The fried catfish at dinner came with fries, cole slaw, and tartar sauce. I prefer more seasoning in the corn meal breading, but it was cooked perfectly. The slaw was just the right balance of tangy and sweet. Service at dinner was a little lagging, she will need to step it up, as this place has gotten very busy quickly! My family and I love this diner. We've eaten here about ten times now, once for dinner and the rest for breakfast. It is without a doubt our favorite breakfast spot and the dinner was just as good. The food is always fresh and the service has been friendly and inviting. We tend to go for the comfort food (often fried, but never greasy). Personally, I love the chicken fried steak and fried pickles, the kids love the pancakes and chicken-and-waffles, and the wife goes for a lighter fare. It's packed on weekends, so we typically have to wait a bit to be seated, but never more than about 10 minutes. We've tried the previous restaurants in this building, but this is the first that has brought us back for seconds. read more

We were a party of 6 adults and a toddler. The food was super, the staff as friendly as there is and the place was clean and spotless. I had the house omlet, hash browns and pancakes. The omlet was excellent as were the hash brown's. I dont know how to describe it but the omlet was made with real eggs NOT dried, fake eggs. Another in the party had the chicken and waffles - equally good. After lunch two in the group had pie (that I sampled) - one coconut and one baklava chocolate - HOLY MACKEREL! That's all I can say. Great, great pie! Toni was our server and she did a great job. We enjoyed her pleasant personality and attention to detail. The food was served hot and timely. The place is spotlessly clean. First, this place is clean, I mean from our seating, it was spotless. The decor is old school diner and very cute. Wait staff are very friendly and we did not have to get anyone's attention in any refills, etc. We had the breakfast tacos and the south of border skillet. Food was very tasty and did not need salt or pepper, was just right. More than enough food with the rest going home with us. read more

O-M-G! this place is actually amazing. even though the last time my family and I ordered, they forgot it. That is the only reason for my lack of a five-star rating. However, when we arrived to pick up our order, they gave us our order for free! And added extra chocolate pie(Which is magnificent!)! We had a good meal here. Banana pancakes and an omelette, VERY large portions! Only knocking off a star because it had an old smell to it (although it could have been someone we were sitting next to, we don't really know) and it is a small dinner so you are likely to have a wait unless you time it right.
