Dallas BBQ in New Jersey was good. The service was good and the vibe was nice and chill, The food tasted good and the presentation. Was great. The Henessey wings were a little tangy but was okay. The BBQ Beef Ribs Texas Style were tender and good.

Ohh, start your appetite engine with an order of Hennessey barbecue wings. Expect to get messy, but so flavorful.

Secaucus Dallas BBQ, expect the highest quality food and great service likened to Time Square of NYC. However, the modernized decor gives an upscale sport dining experience. This location has plenty of parking and nice sceneries.

First time at this location. Clean restaurant, quick service. Our server Isabella was great! Super nice and friendly. Food came out quick and delicious. Only downside is that somehow the restroom was out of service.

I came here for a very special occasion. My family and I all ordered drinks. I ordered the Sour Apple Martini with the extra shaker and ice bucket (very good, def recommend!!) For food, I ordered the classic combo with the baked potato, very good. I was scared to order the mac and cheese because of the past reviews but the person at our table said they liked it. Portions were so big so it's worth the money. Our server was very funny and the inside wasn't crowded but not totally empty. I may consider coming back here again in the future.

One word to begin this review - FINALLY!!! It's been talked about for decades how Dallas BBQs should make its way across the bridge to Jersey. Secaucus came through! My verdict - I still prefer my favorite NYC locations. This spot made a good effort, though and I'll likely return out of convenience, probably. I went early afternoon on a weekday, there was no wait to be seated. However, the wait was annoying for parking. They share a SMALL parking lot with the LA fitness gym next door. Service was just okay - my server was not attentive but I noticed she was very active with parties of 2 or more. I was dining solo and it was very noticeable. Nevertheless, what I loved the most about this new location is that it's reminiscent of pre-pandemic menu prices. My sticky wings came to the table barely warm... like 45 seconds from being cold. Which was so odd to me. Also, my usual/favorite drink (the superman) was just average/watered down. One thing I noticed is they use regular, plastic straws. MUCH appreciated!! I despise the way the oversized paper straws dissolve in your beverage. So, kudos for that! Overall, it was just okay. It's a nice space.

I am a bit surprised at all of the negative reviews. This is my first time going to any Dallas BBQ location and I was greatly surprised. First off, the parking is quite easy with plenty of parking nearby. Upon entering the space is huge with plenty of different seating options. The service was great throughout. The food itself was fantastic. Way better than I expected it to be. The price and portion sizes were great. I will definitely be coming back often.

I've been to Dallas BBQ in the city more times than I'd like to admit (basically a VIP without the badge), so I was excited to try the new New Jersey location. Unfortunately... it left me disappointed. Let's start with the sticky wings: lukewarm, no crisp, no seasoning--just vibes. The veggie tempura, though? MVP of the meal. The drinks? My Miami Vice tasted like melted snow cone with a sugar rush and zero vacation. And the dessert? Bless its heart!! The real hero was our server, John. If this review was just about him, it'd be 5 stars with a standing ovation. He was friendly, attentive, and really tried to make up for the kitchen. The restaurant itself is nice--big space, TVs everywhere, and a cozy covered patio. Bonus points for free parking (once you find it--it's like a mini escape room adventure!) We came on a Friday at 1 PM, no wait at all. Prices were reasonable. I'll give them a few months to level up and maybe come back. But for now, it's a "not quite yet" from me.

We went a week or 2 after opening weekend to try out this location since we loved the New York one. It was pretty loud and packed inside. They don't take reservations so we had to wait in a short line for a table for 2 which wasn't bad, but it could be inconvenient if you have a bigger party. The henny wings and shrimp were fine. We ended up only ordering that because everything was taking a while. We ordered 2 Texas size drinks with extra shots, but the waitress actually gave us super Texas size with no shots which we could not finish. They were good, just sweet. We didn't realize until the bill came and we were charged $24 for each drink. We were also overcharged for someone else's bill because our server mixed up our credit cards (see pic). They gave us a sad little Entenmanns donut to make up for it after we asked if there was anything they could do. Overall the food and drinks were okay but not worth the trouble we had.

Finally they opened a spot that is driving distance. We went here on a weekday early dinner. Line to get in for large groups but we were seated quickly. Plenty of items on the menu. We picked the chicken and ribs. Ordering was quick. We had 2 servers, one was being trained. Food came out hot. At the time, the place was busy from graduation celebrations, so we didn't get attention. We had to go ask for to go boxes and check after waiting for a while. Interior franchise decor and clean since they are new. Do NOT go during rush hour because the area gets traffic. Service was unremarkable. Probably better later once they staff up. Will visit again but not anytime soon. Go if you are in the area.

Decided to finely give this place a try and for the money you cannot beat the portions! We opted to sit in the covered outdoor section versus by the door entrance as I just don't like such an area as the temp is always hot/cold from constant opening and closing of door and too noisy. Hostess was accommodating and brought us to the quieter area. There's nothing quiet about it here tho. It's all in good fun tho and great food! Happy tummies happy customers! You have to start with a drink! I had the best margarita I've had in years! A huge Texas size 20oz Coconut Blush with a frozen watermelon chunk in it! Added that shot of tequila and ooooeeeeee!! Reminiscent of the original McD's shakes where you lost oxygen trying to slurp it up thru the straw! So tasty, thick n creamy! Ordered the 5 wings Henny style and wasn't sure it would be enough, but I had no idea they were brontosaurus wings! Lol I couldn't stop licking the sauce off my fingers. So not a lady this night lol Had the fried shrimp, ribs and steak with baked potato and cornbread and hub had the version with chix instead of shrimp! I could barely eat anything after 2 wings, but for the pricing and amount of food you get, I highly recommend you bring your buns on over here! Truly enjoyed everything! I only would not recommend the mac n cheese which I surprisingly thought would be good, but wasn't. I noticed not many tables had ordered it either, so they already knew! Their app shows a rewards system but the waitress and the manager had any clue about it nor how to apply it to my acct. Definitely will return! Parking deck right behind so not an issue. I would def order those wings again for catering. I'm thinking Super Bowl already! Haha Def try it! The drinks alone are worth it!

This place has a good environment, my experience was pleasant. We got seated right away, and order a couple items from the menu which were well prepared. I left satisfied from the restaurant. I will recommend it.

Came out to check of the NJ BBQs and it's a 1 and done for me. Walked in and got seated right away but the floor next to me was full of food. Nobody came to sweep up the floor until we sat down. Finally a waitress named Tanesha came over and was rushing to take our order which she seemed to be uninterested with the menu. We asked for water with lemon and she took about 15 min to bring the water. The actual drinks came out before the water which didn't have any lemons so her listening skills is not on par with a server. We decided to start with wings and a onion loaf and that took about 20 min to come out which I was very disappointed with both dishes. We asked for hot sauce and ranch dressing on the side and again Tanesha forgot to bring so we had to wait until she went back and got. The wings had no season at all (a 1st for BBQs) wings. The onion loaf wasn't done in the middle and didn't have any season on it either. Not the NY BBQs because I have never had a bad wing in NY so the Jersey version needs to go back to the drawing board and take some classes from NY. Tanesha the server needs a class in hospitality and my honest opinion should be fired because the table next to me questioned her about their bill and she made the statement to them that I quote "I'm not in your guys pockets to know what you can afford". They asked for the manager and she came over and tried to explain Tanesha actions but in my opinion it was unacceptable for her to talk to guests like that. We decided that the service and the food was not good so we didn't order a meal. Just paid the bill and got out of there. Honestly they should have did a soft opening to work out the kinks with the staff because I will go to NY to the BBQs either on 23rd or uptown. Way better food and service. I don't recommend going to BBQs in Secaucus until they get better service and hire a new chef. I will spend the $9 congestion pricing before I come back to this location. I hope the manager of this location read my review and take it serious because they will be closed before they even get going. BBQ review your SOP and clean up the issues that I stated.

We actually called earlier in the day to ask if we can move up the reservation and they were totally fine with it. I guess it was not a busy time because it was empty when we arrived. We started with drinks and everyone ordered the Frozen Ginny, except for my mom, who had a glass of wine. Me and my gf kept boasting about the frozen ginny and everyone loved it. It's the perfect amount of sweetness. We ordered a bunch of appetizers because we were all starving. We had the brisket sliders, octopus, shrimp tacos, and meatballs. It was all so delicious and filled with flavor. My fav was the brisket sliders. We ate everything and still had space when we moved onto our entrees. I think it was less because we were still hungry and more because it was soo good. I also boasted about the crab pasta so 3 out of the 5 of us had it. My mom and I ended up splitting the crab pasta and steak frites because that's also tasty. My gf had her salmon with salad that she was craving for a while. All of the dishes were a hit and my group kept saying how great the place was. My gf ended up getting me a custom cake and paid the cake fee but the Harry's team took it a step further and even helped her fix up the cake and put the candles in because the bakery messed things up last minute. Let's start with the basics: $65 for a steak with a $25 shrimp add-on -- and the food was barely seasoned. The meat quality didn't match the price tag, not even close. You'd be better off going to Peter Luger or literally any real steakhouse where they know how to treat a cut of meat. They offer poor quality cuts of meat with hefty price tags. Had to pay extra for bread which we asked for and they offered a "smoked" drink with smoke bitters- no actual smoke. Service? A mess. It took 20 minutes just to get our drinks, and the waiter messed up the order -- no apology, no urgency. There are no purse hooks, so be ready to juggle your bag in your lap or throw it on the floor. The ambiance/ city overlook is beautiful but only from the rooftop outside area as the big Waterway sign mucks up your photos indoors when pitched toward NYC. So that definitely isn't special or upscale enough to justify the premium pricing or overlook how mediocre everything else is including the drink menu. Honestly, I should've trusted my gut (and the critical reviews), but I gave it a shot and made an awful choice. Won't be back, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone who actually appreciates good food and decent service.

The service was still professional and friendly, but the food left something to be desired. Though it was a Thursday evening, the weather was not great, so it was not overly surprising that the restaurant was not very crowded. Because of that fact, the gracious hostess offered us our choice of a few different tables, from a larger booth to a two-top near the window. We opted for the booth that would give us a chance to look out into the restaurant AND to still see the Manhattan skyline. We decided to order some drinks, and I opted for an Espresso Martini, which was not typically something I would have gotten before dessert, but I wanted the extra caffeine! Plus, their version included a caramel cold foam, which enticingly made it extra creamy and delicious. In fact, it was definitely one of the best espresso martinis I had ever had. We were deciding to skip any starters, so we asked for some bread while we waited for our entrees. The plate of focaccia was decent and hit the spot, but we were charged $2 for it, which was not a big deal but also not appreciated. For my entree, I went with the Lobster Bouillabaisse. The broth was flavorful, but there was not much of it. In fact, the dish came with three sweet rolls to dip into the soup, but I could have lived with less given the limited amount of liquid in the bowl. The included blue prawns were good, but the Hokkaido scallops and lobster were chewy. There was also supposed to jumbo lump crab, which seemed to have been replaced by gritty clams. There were also leeks and Yukon potatoes that were sliced in small cylinders and looked fairly similar to each other. The potatoes were bland, cold, and under-cooked. Overall, it was not very impressive for $48. My companion's Prime Filet Mignon was of an unknown size on the menu, but arrived looking smaller than the typical 8-ounces. It was also over-cooked. He did like his mashed potatoes, though. For dessert, we decided to get the Apple and Pear Bread Pudding again, since that had been excellent last time and would hopefully be a redeeming feature of the meal, which it was. The sweet, caramelized brioche had been infused with cubes of fruit, baked, and drizzled with a sea salt caramel. We replaced the designated companion creme fraiche gelato with a scoop of passion fruit sorbet, which was less of an appropriate pairing, but more of an appealing variety to us. While Drift truly offered a stunning space with incredible service, they really could improve their culinary preparations.
