I liked the Texas roadhouse very much. I really liked the menu selections and the Service. The food is very good.

After 9 years since our last visit im glad to say the place is still bustling!! Although they no longer have those sack of peanuts by the waiting area, they still give them at your table and it now comes in a bag. The breads are as good as they ever were! fresh, buttery delicious and still complimentary! The fried pickles were good appetizers and I wish i had tried their cactus blossom again just so I could see if its still as good as I remember. Maybe next time. The NY steak was bit dry though and the ribs too. However I still liked them and had an, overall, good experience. and plus, our server was very nice and friendly! on another note, i wish they had minded their Family Restroom and placed the changing table back as it had apparently been like that for a while and needed fixing. read more

I'll start off with the good! -huge parking lot - great service (we loved Katie!!) - great food - loved the cheese fries and steak - get the brownie sundae, yum! The bad ( we went on a Saturday at 4:30pm) - the 35-45min wait that was actually over an hour. - limited seating inside, where you can hear your name called -the host lied "you"ll be next!" I am almost NEVER visit chains. But my first visit to this wildly popular restaurant was a very good one. So, yes, 5 stars for Texas Roadhouse. First, sign up for their email club or whatever it's called, and you get a free appetizer. Just do it. You can always unsubscribe later. The place was absolutely packed on an early Wednesday night. There was no wait but on their app, you can join a waitlist, if you wish. I can imagine they get slammed on the weekends. Nearly everything we tried was very good. As soon as you sit down, you are given a baskttheir incredible rolls and butter. They are pillowy soft, sweet, and delicious. Everyone loves them. You will love them. If the server doesn't mention it, you can also request shelled peanuts. The "tater skins" starter is a solid one. You get eight, count 'em, eight potato skins absolutely stuffed with melted cheese and tons of bacon crumbles. This place does not skimp on the toppings or, really, on anything. It comes with sour cream and a very tangy and delicious ranch dressing. This is a very hearty and good appetizer. For the entrees, the sirloin was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. It didn't need any sauce but the Texas Roadhouse brand sauce in the bottle on the table is very, very good. Give it a try. The cheeseburger was absolutely delicious. You get a big, thick patty and it's well-seasoned and very juicy. I would absolutely order this burger, possibly over the steaks. The only slight bummer were the beef tips. They were overcooked and dry. They come with onions, mushrooms , and sour cream (on the side) which gave the dish a stroganoff-type flavor which I liked. But sadly, that meat was overkilled in the kitchen. For the sides, the French fries are big, steak fries, and they are well-seasoned and very good. The mashed potatoes tasted homemade and were great. The buttered corn was good. I was slightly disappointed in the chili because it was a little thin. But it had big pieces of meat in it which I loved. Decor-wise, the place looks like what you think a Texas "roadhouse" might look like--very Western-themed. It is also very loud but in a festive way. It is all country music on the sound system, all the time, and about every 45 minutes or so, the servers line up and do a line dance in the middle of the restaurant. It's a hoot. I don't know how anyone could not like this unless their name is Scrooge or Grinch. Our server was beyond friendly and sknew the menu by heart. On Monday my son and his girlfriend went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and picked me up what had been my favorite Texas Roadhouse meal. It was such a nice gesture but so very disappointing. It's a sad thing when the best part of your meal is the dinner rolls you usually skip. I used to love their 3 medallion filets with a nice loaded baked potato. I felt bad telling my son how disappointing it was but I didn't want to lie. He then it told me how awful his meal in the restaurant was which just pissed me off. He spent $175 and he felt like we all would have enjoyed a drive thru burger meal more. So disappointing! My baked potato was burned and not eatable. My filets were supposed to be medium rare. One was barely rare and the other 2 were well done and grisly. The dogs enjoyed those but passed on the potato. My side salad was okay. My son and his girlfriend waited over an hour to be seated and were mostly ignored my their waiter. The highlight of his girlfriend's meal was her mock cocktail. She had ordered a filet. My son had a hand cut NY strip with a side of shrimp and a blue margarita cocktail that was not worth remembering it's name because he would never order a cocktail there again. His NY strip was also very grisly and most of it brought home for the dogs. With my take out meal was a bag of 4 warm rolls and cinnamon butter which we both enjoyed as the dogs ate the bulk of a $175 dinner. The restaurant was busy but that isn't a good excuse in a bad economy to waste people's time and money when there are so many dinner options. My son is a bartender in a fine dining italian restaurant and hates to complain. Hoped that was a good sign. We were warned about crowds and waits, so plan accordingly. We were met by our server and brought to our table, which was a comfortable booth. He was friendly, kind, and explained how things work. Good didn't arrive quickly, nor slowly, which is a great thing. That meant it was fresh, and it also means they're efficient. Server checked on us frequently, which was great. Fried pickles - excellent Boneless buffalo wings - moist, flavorful, spicy Rattlesnake bites - perfectly crisp, cheesy. Wife loved her cocktail. Chicken fried sirloin- this will make me come back. Tender steak, perfect crispy batter, not greasy, amazing white gravy. I wanted another. Ribs - slightly overdone. I slow smoke ribs for 6 hours and they are incredibly tender with just a bit of pull. The ones from Texas Roadhouse were slightly tougher than I like. Sauce was great, good bark. We called when they opened & said we had a party of 11 & we wanted to come in for dinner & asked if they could seat us & we were told "We can accommodate you" exact words. The man said to call an hour before we were to arrive so they can reserve "the table" exact words....the TABLE. We got there & the put us in 2 seperate back to back booths, not a table & we had 2 seperate servers. When I complained & said that it was my son's 37th birthday & if they couldn't seat us together, why didn't they say that either time we called? The manager offered to seat us diagonally across the aisle from each other but that we'd have to wait & see if they could manage it but sitting across an aisle (with servers & people walking by) was not a better option so we declined. I would have walked out but it was impossible since we all came in different cars & it was too late to try to find somewhere else that would have a reservation for a party of 11. (Plus my 77 yr old sister has a walker & oxygen she can't stand around waiting) The manager then offered to comp 2 of the 5 appetizers we ordered (appetizers we had to pass back & forth over the back of the booth walls so we could all share) my sisters walker was out in the middle of the floor & we were so cramped at each small booth. Just say you can't do it if you can't do it. Why lie? I guess because they knew we'd have to stay just as we did but thats just poor customer service......If they saved the seats 2 booths back from us, against the wall, we could have had a side by side situation that would have worked but the idiot that decided that 2 back to back seperate tables was a good idea should be fired. We had a bill of over $400 & she comp-ed 2 appetizers?!? It was insulting. So my son sat at the booth with his friends & the family sat together at the other booth & I couldn't sit with my son on his birthday. Nice. We used to dine there at least once a month (a family of 6 adults) but since they ruined a family occasion by not being honest & telling us we couldn't sit together we wont be back. Great food, fast service, smaller cuts may get overcooked. Our family of 12 stopped by Texas Roadhouse in Teterboro in October 2025. It was a Sunday, and the restaurant was packed with a line outside. Fortunately, we called ahead, signed onto the waiting list, and were seated right away when we arrived 30 min later. Service was friendly and quick. It's wasn't our first time at the chain, so we knew what we wanted. We ordered Cactus Blossom and Rattlesnake Bites for appetizers and both were delicious. For mains, we had smothered ribeyes, fillet medallions, and kids' sirloin. Everything was flavorful and delicious. The 16oz ribeyes, medallions, and kids' sirloin were perfect. However, the 12oz ribeye and part of a 14oz ribeye were thinner and were overcooked to "well-done", despite being ordered medium rare. We could've requested a replacement, but chose not to wait while few of us were already eating. The Sirloin Steak (medium rare), Ranger Rib Basket, 18oz Margarita (+Patron Kicker) and side dishes (roasted sweet potato, corn, and broccoli) are all above average. Not worth the hype. Came in on a Sunday at 3pm expecting an average crowd. Thankfully we put our name on the waitlist virtually ahead of time because it was a 75 minute wait. The foyer of the restaurant was a mob scene with an unbelievable amount of people coming and going. It felt like we had floor seats to a concert. Once we finally were seated, at a table that was definitely not large enough for our party, Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive (reason for 2 stars) and the bread was obviously delicious. However, everything else about our experience just wasn't up to par. The steaks were very bland for the price, we were squished at the table, and the restaurant was a zoo. Surprisingly, one of the best prime ribs I've had. I don't remember if it was a prime rib or a rib roast, but it was perfectly seasoned. The steak fries were also perfectly cooked. Some places leave a bit of rawness in some of the steak fries, not here, they were great. The au jus was not that tasty. The prime rib was just so tasty that it wasn't needed. So I dipped the bread in the au jus and there it was, deliciousness. The bread was a bit sweeter than I remember, but it's been 20 years since I've been to a Texas Roadhouse. The bread also went very well with the chili side dish. It was packed with meat and was very good. I'm surprised that this is considered a side, it's a great value and delicious. Went here for dinner--baby back ribs were fall-off-the-bone good and the rolls never disappoint. I can't find any other good bbq/country restaurants in the area so this has become my go to. They did forget about our salad until the main dishes came, which was a bit annoying, but the rest of the meal made up for it. Parking was super easy to find and it's right by a bunch of stores like Costco, so it's a nice spot if you're running errands. I'm a big fan of Texas Roadhouse and I had a pretty good experience at this location as well. The most important part of the meal is obviously the ribeye which I personally like to call the "big boy". The big boy definitely delivered and the steak was cooked to perfection, super flavorful and juicy. No notes! Although the green beans were also delicious, the bread and fries were a little underwhelming. The fries were served a little cold and the bread wasn't as flavorful as I'm used to. The service was awesome and our waiter was super attentive so I definitely would tip my hat to their service. I've never disappointed when I come to Texas roadhouse thank you for keeping up the streak. Great food good times great service plenty of parking and with a huge crowd you know how to keep it moving unfortunately you ran out of my prime rib, but you made it up with a wonderful steak And a wonderful server who is on top of his game. The only complaint I could have is I saw your staff going into the family room that's meant for changing little ones so I had to change my toddler on top of the sink in the regular restroom. I can understand it when there's not a huge crowd, but people like me who had two toddlers. It's a little annoying, but it didn't take away from my review of you because I still liked you, I think it's misunderstanding, but I will say it was more than once. We have been to three different Texas Roadhouse's for a total of about 5 visits and not a single complaint. Each time our steaks or burgers were cooked exactly as ordered (you would be surprised how many supposed steak houses get it wrong more than half of the time!), food has been good and the bill was fair. Coming to this location a key tip, plan to wait. Even with using the check in ahead though the website/app they typically under estimate the wait times. So come with some patience. Now to the food, I consider myself a pretty good home cook and I've eaten at some incredible steakhouse in my life luckily and honestly this steak did better than even some prestigious places. I ordered a 28oz Bone-in Ribeye I saw in the case up front, ordered it Med-Rare and it was cooked perfectly. Only thing I'd change is the seasoning. It seemed to be lacking some good salt and pepper. But the steak was tender and tasty. Comparing it to the steak I ordered with my wife at Old Homestead for our anniversary, this was 1/3 of the price and better. Overall happy. The wife and kids were happy with their meals. My youngest being a super picky eater would have loved a pasta kids dish but I gotta say, they've got an impressive kids menu and options. Overall the place was poppin at 530 on a Saturday, service was great, food was great, and we had an entire family meal for what I paid for 1 steak at another high end steakhouse. And I think we waited another good 30 to 40 minutes after checking in at the parking lot. We took advantage of their peanuts since we were all starving. And loved them. I received a gift card for Texas Roadhouse and finally succeeded in eating here after 4 tries, as every time the line has been impossibly long! But now having been here, I understand why - the food is indeed quite good for the value! We ordered the cactus blossom (TR's version of Outback's bloomin' onion which I actually prefer more), 16 oz NY strip, 12 oz ribeye with grilled shrimp combo, and a half slab of pork ribs. If you're there for steak, I definitely recommend getting the steak order and not a combo, as you'll get a thicker cut. Ribeye is my usual go-to but I'm glad I ordered the strip on recommendation of our server. My medium-rare was a tad more done than is proper, but overall the steaks were well cooked and well seasoned. The ribs are tender and flavorful with just the right amount of sauce, and the sides we had are all very good: sautéed mushrooms & onions, seasoned rice, loaded mashed potatoes, steak fries, chili, and especially the buttered corn which was unexpectedly delicious. Is it the best steak? No, if you're a steak connoisseur (and not at that price point), but it's pretty comparable to good steak that we grill at home, and it's a hell of a lot cheaper than most other places, including supposedly more high-end & expensive steakhouses which don't always do better. I appreciate that a basket of warm yummy bread with whipped butter was already on the table as we were seated, and we were given a stack of paper napkins as well as cloth ones. (Details! I hate having to track down paper napkins because you're given zero or one piece.) Shoutout to our server Marlon, who's only been there for a month but is a total pro, knowledgeable about the menu, provided great customer service and has wonderful energy and attitude. The place is always hoppin', so you have to not mind a cowd. We came at 2:30pm on a Saturday and it was a 30-minute wait for walk-ins. During prime dinner hours the wait can be 1-1.5 hours. (You can always do some shopping at Costco which is in the same plaza.) To minimize the wait time, I recommend you join the online waitlist. We had a 0-10 min wait online and checked in as we walked up, and it was still another 10 minutes before we were seated. The electronic payment system on the table was super easy to use - fast, intuitive, and no glitches. No, you're not magically transported to Texas when you walk in here - although I wouldn't mind to be - but, shockingly, the food at this Texas Roadhouse is damn good (albeit maybe on the very fried and greasy side). As if Thanksgiving just wasn't going to make the entire nation hefty enough. Knowing it could indeed be on the packed side, we added our name to the wait list as we approached the restaurant and, luckily, we were seated almost immediately at 5:30. However, within minutes, there was already a wait. I don't think I have to go over the menu for most, but the name pretty much gives you a hint on what they serve here - every ever-loving hodgepodge of greasy, fried burger, steak, chicken southern fried mash up that you can think of is served here - pretty much like your nearest Cracker Barrel. Me? I love it. But maybe my arteries don't though. We started off our meal with the Cactus Blossom. Sound familiar? To be blunt, it's basically a copycat of the beloved Bloomin' Onion, which was popularized by the one and only Australian-themed American chain restaurant known as .... drumrolllllll .... Outback Steakhouse. We also added a Fried Pickles to our list of appetizers because who doesn't love some fried gherkin? To make it short and sweet, both were awesomely fried and greasy. As for our entrees, we added some more good ol' fried goodness: Fried Catfish (Green Beans, Steak Fries) Ribeye with Grilled Shrimp (Baked Potato, Buttered Corn) Country Fried Chicken with Brown Gravy (Mashed Potatoes, Buttered Corn) Everything was much better than I anticipated. We are long time patrons of this place so when we waned to have a special birthday celebration for our son we chose here. I called just as they opened at 4 to say that I would have a party of 11 and was told "we can accommodate you" but to call back one hour before arriving. We anted to eat at 6:30 so I called again at 5:30. Once again I said I was on the way with 11 people and was told by a different person from the first that I need to text when my full party was at the location. I did that and we were immediately brought to two back to back booths! I said this is no good as its a party and we had people who traveled in special for this so we could all be together. After some time we were told that MAYBE if the combo freed up we could have two booths that were diagonal from each other WITH a full travel aisle between them. Once again we said "how is that any better" as we still cant all be together. In the end we got 2 free apps at $11 each and me my wife my sons sister and and two others sat in a booth away from our son. I even missed the birthday cake candle blow out because I did not even know it was happening. Why 2 tables could not be pushed together into one long table at this location is beyond me. Also if they are unable to do this then that should have been mentioned when I first called and we would have went somewhere else with no hard feelings. Who makes a reservation for 11 and expects to be in 2 different booths back to back! That is ridiculous. My son is older so Im not going to say this was traumatic or anything over the top but Me and his mother would have really wanted to sit near him or in view of him and the special guests that traveled a long distance to join us. It was a really sucky and unnecessary situation that I will never forget. A $400 birthday meal (I tipped well to the two different waiters because this was not their fault) ruined because of the inconsiderate policy of this place. I don't usually hit big chains but was not doing well with local owned restaurants. I am so glad I checked texas road house out! First and foremost, Ali was my bartender and everything for each of my visits and I can honestly say she is why I ate here 3 nights in a row. Just such a great spirit and person. Very quick with everything!!! I had the bone in ribeye, chicken fried chicken, and the filet for meals this week. Sides were salad and baked potato for me. Every meal was fast and perfectly cooked. The drinks Ali made were grgreat and she even allowed a modification without any grief since I'm not a southern comfort fan.... bad college experience I'm still not over.... LOL Great location and we'll be back. Pro tip becareful at the stop sign you're probably going to get buzzed by an airplane landing at teterboro airport while your looking the other way for cars. read more

Texas road house is a great chain restaurant. You are getting what you expect from a chain but it is definitely a step above going to an Applebees or Chili's. The food is decent and pretty reasonable for a steak. The bread and butter they put on the tables will literally have you drooling. The service here was excellent and the ambiance makes you feel like you are in an old western mixed with a kids rodeo? Basically it's not super romantic but very family friendly and can accommodate large parties. I do NOT recommend getting the blooming onion it is basically a sodium bomb described as a fried onion. Besides that everything I have eaten here is pretty good. The drinks are nice and they range from $5 to about $13, again they are extremely reasonably priced. read more

Painful Loud 45 minutes wait The staff is very attentive, and speedy. Food quality was excellent. The change to the apple pie topping to a molasses accent from carmel was a good idea. The place could be quieter by adding acoustic baffles. read more

Completely unacceptable. Maybe it's because they are young. Waiting 2.5 hours for a table is unacceptable when you are told 45 min- 1 hr wait. Young adults went for a date night and saw many other adults come in after them, put their name on the list and were seated before them. read more
