New York Strip (add mushrooms and onions) & loaded Baked Potato

I'll start off with the good! -huge parking lot - great service (we loved Katie!!) - great food - loved the cheese fries and steak - get the brownie sundae, yum! The bad ( we went on a Saturday at 4:30pm) - the 35-45min wait that was actually over an hour. - limited seating inside, where you can hear your name called -the host lied "you"ll be next!" We were NOT next. -the famous rolls that sit under lamps but also has waiting guests with children coughing on it (since the weight is so tremendous the lobby gets beyond packed) Overall would recommend but be aware of the wait, especially if you're pregnant / have children / elders in your party.

6 oz Sirloin Steak Dinner Early Bird $12.99

The early bird special 6oz steak with a cup of chili was a good meal. It's tough to go at 4:30 for dinner, but I made it happen just to try it. I knew I wanted steak so with the 6oz option. Steak was decent and not too chewy. I thought the cup of chili will cost extra, but it was included in the early bird deal. Chili was alright, if that's your go to side.

Everything was great. Our food was delicious and the waiter Marcus was excellent. Comfy country fun place.

Beef Tips were overcooked but the mashed potatoes were excellent.

I am almost NEVER visit chains. But my first visit to this wildly popular restaurant was a very good one. So, yes, 5 stars for Texas Roadhouse. First, sign up for their email club or whatever it's called, and you get a free appetizer. Just do it. You can always unsubscribe later. The place was absolutely packed on an early Wednesday night. There was no wait but on their app, you can join a waitlist, if you wish. I can imagine they get slammed on the weekends. Nearly everything we tried was very good. As soon as you sit down, you are given a baskttheir incredible rolls and butter. They are pillowy soft, sweet, and delicious. Everyone loves them. You will love them. If the server doesn't mention it, you can also request shelled peanuts. The "tater skins" starter is a solid one. You get eight, count 'em, eight potato skins absolutely stuffed with melted cheese and tons of bacon crumbles. This place does not skimp on the toppings or, really, on anything. It comes with sour cream and a very tangy and delicious ranch dressing. This is a very hearty and good appetizer. For the entrees, the sirloin was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. It didn't need any sauce but the Texas Roadhouse brand sauce in the bottle on the table is very, very good. Give it a try. The cheeseburger was absolutely delicious. You get a big, thick patty and it's well-seasoned and very juicy. I would absolutely order this burger, possibly over the steaks. The only slight bummer were the beef tips. They were overcooked and dry. They come with onions, mushrooms , and sour cream (on the side) which gave the dish a stroganoff-type flavor which I liked. But sadly, that meat was overkilled in the kitchen. For the sides, the French fries are big, steak fries, and they are well-seasoned and very good. The mashed potatoes tasted homemade and were great. The buttered corn was good. I was slightly disappointed in the chili because it was a little thin. But it had big pieces of meat in it which I loved. Decor-wise, the place looks like what you think a Texas "roadhouse" might look like--very Western-themed. It is also very loud but in a festive way. It is all country music on the sound system, all the time, and about every 45 minutes or so, the servers line up and do a line dance in the middle of the restaurant. It's a hoot. I don't know how anyone could not like this unless their name is Scrooge or Grinch. Our server was beyond friendly and sknew the menu by heart. From other reviews, I get the sense that hospitality is a priority to this chain, and it shows. This is a very entertaining place and the food was mostly very good. I would happily return.

Texas Roadhouse 20 Teterboro Landing Dr. Teterboro, NJ 07608 Dinner Rolls with Cinnamon Butter Cactus Blossom Rattlesnake Bites 20 Oz. Bone-in Rib Eye Baked Potato with Shredded Cheddar/Buttered Corn Country Fried Sirloin Sweet Potato/Seasoned Rice Herb Crusted Chicken Appearance: Taste: Don't have a cow, man! When you step into this steakhouse, this joint will knock you off your socks! From prompt service to tasty food, get ready for the last supper! The appetizers are always a compliment to the main menu. Although the cactus blossom is clearly a counterpart to the Bloomin' Onion, you'll want to devour every last bite. As always, don't be bashful about asking for an extra dipping sauce. Regardless of whichever meat you choose, you're in for a treat. If you can't decide, do what I do...make multiple visits so you get the best of all worlds. Medium rare is my preferred method for the steak. It had a slightly pink center and melted in my mouth! Like the appetizer, the side dishes are the wingmen to the main course. Whether you choose a baked potato, shredded cheese potato, or sweet potato...you won't go wrong and they each have a unique flavor and zest! Lunch specials are available, but the time frame is limited. Your best option is to just go all out and order from the dinner menu. Come hungry and get ready to feast like a beast! #texasroadhouse #cactusblossom #boneinribeye #steak

Good food. Takes a long time to be seated so join the queue on your phone in advance during busy hours. Chicken fried steak was mid. But the trio of mini filets was amazing! Will get that next time. First time at this chain and I'll def come back. (mac and cheese was eh, chicken fried steak eh) liked the loaded mashed potatoes, fried pickles, mini filets, rice

We called when they opened & said we had a party of 11 & we wanted to come in for dinner & asked if they could seat us & we were told "We can accommodate you" exact words. The man said to call an hour before we were to arrive so they can reserve "the table" exact words....the TABLE. We got there & the put us in 2 seperate back to back booths, not a table & we had 2 seperate servers. When I complained & said that it was my son's 37th birthday & if they couldn't seat us together, why didn't they say that either time we called? The manager offered to seat us diagonally across the aisle from each other but that we'd have to wait & see if they could manage it but sitting across an aisle (with servers & people walking by) was not a better option so we declined. I would have walked out but it was impossible since we all came in different cars & it was too late to try to find somewhere else that would have a reservation for a party of 11. (Plus my 77 yr old sister has a walker & oxygen she can't stand around waiting) The manager then offered to comp 2 of the 5 appetizers we ordered (appetizers we had to pass back & forth over the back of the booth walls so we could all share) my sisters walker was out in the middle of the floor & we were so cramped at each small booth. Just say you can't do it if you can't do it. Why lie? I guess because they knew we'd have to stay just as we did but thats just poor customer service......If they saved the seats 2 booths back from us, against the wall, we could have had a side by side situation that would have worked but the idiot that decided that 2 back to back seperate tables was a good idea should be fired. We had a bill of over $400 & she comp-ed 2 appetizers?!? It was insulting. So my son sat at the booth with his friends & the family sat together at the other booth & I couldn't sit with my son on his birthday. Nice. We used to dine there at least once a month (a family of 6 adults) but since they ruined a family occasion by not being honest & telling us we couldn't sit together we wont be back. Yes, we would have found another restaurant for the party but would still have continued to visit monthly. The photo shows the ridiculous choice the restaurant made & they thought this was a good idea?!? The the 11th person (from our 2nd booth) was taking the pictures.

Reading the WSJ that TR is one the fastest growth chain steakhouse. Sunday night 8:30pm full house with a line. We waiting 30min & get our table for 3. Dallas bar layout, clean, fast, good value & loud Without asking they serve hot unlimited buns with cinnamon butter & bag of peanuts. Good and sufficient for people to munch on. We order Jr steak for my daughter, appetizer combo, grilled chicken sandwich with mushroom and margarita all fairly tasty. Room to improve is music is so loud we can't heard the server. All the food plus drinks less than $50.00 for sure bang for the buck

PEANUTS and Fresh-Baked Bread (comes with a portion of Honey Cinnamon butter)
    Chloe' L.

This restaurant has a simple, vintage cowboy style. The Sirloin Steak (medium rare), Ranger Rib Basket, 18oz Margarita (+Patron Kicker) and side dishes (roasted sweet potato, corn, and broccoli) are all above average. The food is great value for money. The Extra Fresh-Baked Bread (almost unlimited, the hot bread with Honey Cinnamon butter is delicious) is also excellent. Their roasted sweet potato is basically the same as Taiwan's "earthen-roasted sweet potato"... the texture, sweetness, and flavor are all the same, hot and creamy...it reminds me of Taiwan!!! The service is also very responsible. Although they can't always be there to greet you, they are quick to serve when you need it, which is great. Considering the restaurant's ambiance, the prices, and the efficient service, it's a very pleasant experience overall, and a great place for the whole family to dine together.

Not worth the hype. Came in on a Sunday at 3pm expecting an average crowd. Thankfully we put our name on the waitlist virtually ahead of time because it was a 75 minute wait. The foyer of the restaurant was a mob scene with an unbelievable amount of people coming and going. It felt like we had floor seats to a concert. Once we finally were seated, at a table that was definitely not large enough for our party, Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive (reason for 2 stars) and the bread was obviously delicious. However, everything else about our experience just wasn't up to par. The steaks were very bland for the price, we were squished at the table, and the restaurant was a zoo. Probably will never return to this location unfortunately.

Went here for dinner--baby back ribs were fall-off-the-bone good and the rolls never disappoint. I can't find any other good bbq/country restaurants in the area so this has become my go to. They did forget about our salad until the main dishes came, which was a bit annoying, but the rest of the meal made up for it. Parking was super easy to find and it's right by a bunch of stores like Costco, so it's a nice spot if you're running errands. Loud, casual, and exactly what you expect from a night out here, but better than your typical Applebees or TGIF Fridays.

I'm a big fan of Texas Roadhouse and I had a pretty good experience at this location as well. The most important part of the meal is obviously the ribeye which I personally like to call the "big boy". The big boy definitely delivered and the steak was cooked to perfection, super flavorful and juicy. No notes! Although the green beans were also delicious, the bread and fries were a little underwhelming. The fries were served a little cold and the bread wasn't as flavorful as I'm used to. The service was awesome and our waiter was super attentive so I definitely would tip my hat to their service. Overall good experience, and I'm sure my experience with the fries was the outlier not the norm. It's my closest Texas Roadhouse so I might have to go back and give them second try!

This had very tasty food that I was able to enjoy the next day. The service was very good and it wasn't a long wait on a Friday after work. I would recommend this also for a birthday party because they now do a ceremony to put that birthday person on a saddle! good family times here at the Texas Roadhouse. I would recommend for the quality for the price and portion.

Argentine cuisine is a blend of influences from the Italian and Spanish immigrants with its chief national product, beef. They say the reason Argentine steak is so good is that its cattle graze on the country's plentiful pampas grass, rather than being grain-fed as American cattle are. The result is leaner, more flavorful, and more nutritious beef. One such establishment is on Moonachie Road in Moonachie, where my partners, our friends and I decided on Saturday dinner. Reservations were easily made via OpenTable. Upon entering this cozy, modern interior of Tango Steak as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got a table right away. We were here 3 years ago when it was El Tango Argentina Grill. The vibe has completely changed. It's now darker and louder, not family-friendly. Music was at a decent volume and does seem to increase as it gets later, giving it a lounge type. As an appetizer, we started with Beef and Chicken Empanadas as well as Calamares (Calamari). For our main meal, we decided on the Extrana (Skirt Steak) with Mashed Potatoes & Chimichurri Sauce and Tango Burger accompanied with Fries. Food was good, not awesome. Our appetizers were tasty and well seasoned. The Skirt Steaks tasted fantastic with the Chimichurri Sauce. The Mashed Potatoes had a nice texture. However, some of us asked that their Tango Burgers be made medium but came out well done. The Fries were salty and very dry. Our service was horrendous, but our server was Nathaly who was accommodating and apologetic. Some of us had gotten their appetizer faster than others. The duration between our appetizers and the main meal was an hour. The food was not cheap given the portions received and the 20% gratuity added automatically to the bill. With insult to injury, their valet attendant charged $5. Definitely not what we expected, which is why we sadly can't recommend this place.

All three were fabulous, especially the calamari. Maybe one of the best I ever had. Super fresh. The sauce was for dipping the calamari. It was very good. For my main entrée, I ordered the paella Venetian. As a kicker, I included lobster. You certainly get a ton of food, more than you would probably finish. The paella included clams, paella of course, and tomato. The lobster was very disappointing. I have been craving a dry aged steak for awhile now. This is the kind of steak you can't get at your local supermarket or even your neighborhood butcher. So to the trusty web I turned and in Google I found a couple options. I narrowed my selection down to StrassBurger Steaks. Their website had the goods a Foodie Father like me was looking for. With a lineage of over 150 years in the Steak business how could this selection not be the right one? I turned to my trusted advisor in these matters (YELP,) and to my surprise StrassBurger had only 1 review with 1 star and to top it off, the reviewer lives in the same state and city. Now this reviewer, from what I could tell was on a similar mission as me. The negative part of their review had to do with the delivery of the goods (from the minimal critique offered) so I did what every loyal Yelp user would do, I backed out. But I couldn't get those images out of my head. Those steaks looked so good! I searched around my local area to satisfy my craving. Alas I only found what I would describe as mediocre offerings, it was then I decided I was going to give StrassBurger Steaks a shot. I placed my order for bone-in rib steaks and a tomahawk. I made sure I would be at home to receive the delivery, like junky waiting for a fix. 16 hours later my doorbell sang the sweet songs of a FedEX delivery. I tore into the package like a child on Christmas morning, eager to inspect the goods. To my surprise, or should I say my joy, the steaks were a cool 40.0 °F a mear 8.0 °F from freezing. I know because I used a digital meat thermometer to check, since the previous review stated the warmth of the goods, but in my case everything was perfect! So with the goods in hand, I was off to the next stage in my plan. How to cook these bad boys? I decided I would go the extra step and do some reading. For the meal I came up with: * Simply seasoned with sea salt and pepper * Sear the steaks on the BBQ to get a nice crisp crust to seal in the juices * Finish them off in the oven in an old cast iron pan * Add sides Hasselback potato and garlic butter sauteed Porcini mushrooms * Homemade Bearnaise sauce I am starting to salivate while I write this as the memories of endorphins being released come flooding back. To get to the point, these were in fact the best steaks I HAVE EVER MADE. I like to think it's the attention to the details, but I can't take all the credit. Each bite of steak literally melts in my mouth. When you have such a solid base to start with, you really can't go wrong. I can without a doubt recommend ordering steaks from StrassBurger and have recommended these fine purveyors of bovine bliss to my friends and family. Like with all things in life I am glad I went this my gut instinct here and placed this order. Had I just gone with the single bad review, I would have missed out on one of the best steak dinners I have ever had. I could honestly say these steaks were on point with fancy steak houses like Ruth Chris and would order again without hesitation. Attached are photos of my journey. Happy Fathers day!

The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the menu had great options across the board. Food-wise, I have zero complaint everything was flavorful and well prepared. A special shout-out to Rola, the owner, who personally came out to check on us and make sure everything was going well, which really shows how much care goes into the experience. It's also BYOB, which is a nice bonus and makes the night even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting again for great Mediterranean food, a fun vibe, and an energetic atmosphere.

Service was great and wonderful, the young lady always checked up to make sure everything was great. Food was so tasty & had flavor to it! I had ordered octopus with hummus, it was very well cooked & I had to have pita on the side. I also ordered shish kebab filet mignon & as well very well cooked, not overcooked or dry at all. The rice was plain, which was okay for me. The onions definitely made up for it to combine it together. To top it off I also got fried calamari, it was a little bit chewy overall still had flavor to it. My go to drink was a mint lemonade that they make it into a slushie. I never had a mint lemonade so the taste to the drink was new to me but I loved it! You could bring your own liquor becusse they do not sell that. Overall amazing place for a quick lunch or dinner!

From cooking to salad dressings, Greek olive oil made from lemon, basil, and oregano is their liquid gold. Located on a busy Boulevard in the heart of Hasbrouck Heights, I finally got the opportunity to stop in at this BYOB family-owned/operated establishment. Upon entering for lunch after 4 years, Sofia's Mediterranean Grill, named after the owner's mom, I was greeted by the staff. I got a booth, immediately knowing how they get crowded. The inside evoked a cozy and warm vibe with Greek music playing throughout. Outdoor dining is available, weather permitting. Their menu features an array of traditional Mediterranean dishes, offering a variety of soups, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, meats from the grill, seafood cooked various ways, and entrees cooked from the oven. I decided on the Greek salad with grilled chicken. The food was authentic, fresh using the finest ingredients, delicious, and prepared simply, which is exactly what I was looking for. The portion was healthy. The service is always friendly and welcoming. I got to connect with the owner, Nick, a fellow Astorian, to catch up about the old neighborhood. The price was reasonable. If one's craving the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean, then look no further. One doesn't need to book a flight to Greece to enjoy authentic meals.
