I have to say that this place has been my favorite spot during the FIFA World Cup 2026. I been here last year for the Club World Cup 2025 as well. The service and vibes were incredible. Our hotel was not far from this location and I went regularly. It's a cute brunch spot that's kid friendly. With its own kids table to eat. Nice! I know my kids would have loved it! This is a nice kid friendly restaurant. Came on a rainy Saturday afternoon around 230pm. Place was not busy at all. I liked that they have a little play area in the back for kids with a play kitchen, cars, trucks, books, and a bunch of other toys. Food was mostly ok and price is decent. When I first walked in, the waitress asked what we wanted to drink, I just asked for some water and she said they only have bottles of water which I thought was weird (that they would charge for water and not have free clean tap water like most restaurants do). Anyway, I changed my mind and decided not to pay for water and told her I would look at the menu first. We ordered a pineapple smoothie and cappuccino. They were both decent. Steak and eggs with home fries- decent. The ribeye is quite thin but flavored. The eggs and home fries were ok. Chicken waffle- decent. It came with 2 small pieces of chicken. My husband was not full from this. Kid's create your own plate come with eggs, sausage or bacon, and kid sized pancakes- i asked for boiled egg, bacon and pancake- For the price, it's not bad. But they charged me an extra dollar for asking for a boiled egg. The kid sized pancakes weren't really kid sized but decently big. I guess adult sized pancakes would've been humongous then. Plate came with 2 straps of bacon. The pancakes were average. My toddler ate the bacon. Bathroom is pretty big and has a baby changing table which is nice. Been here before and it took over an hour to get our breakfast, I understand it's busy, but stopped coming, decided to try again and same thing again. They cater more to take out then people sitting inside waiting for their food the food is not good for all the headaches of waiting 35 minutes for breakfast and still get wrong food read more

The food is very good. But I have a problem that they charged me an extra charge to substitute. We asked if we could substitute an item and they said yes and they charged $4 extra to my surprise when I saw the bill. If you going to charge, tell us yes we can substitute it but there will be an extra charge. Simple. Problem fixed because then the customer decides if they want to pay it or not and not be surprised when they get the bill. Plus they charge an extra 4% for using a credit card. I get annoyed when a business does that. That is the price of doing business and accepting credit card payments. If you don't want to pay it then be a cash only business don't pass it to the guest. This place reminds me of a "Corner Chill" breakfast/lunch spot. Came on a weekday with a friend and four kids. Arriving during early morning hours gave me the insight of how this place flows during breakfast and lunch hours. Upon arrival we were the only customers. They quickly combined tables and chairs to accommodate us. Kids played in their kids' corner area. With enough toys for all kids, toys were not cluttered. They had a chalk board and enough chalk for kids; plus wipes to clean off the board as needed. The kids corner was completely clean. Our order was placed as soon as we sat. The food came out within an adequate time frame. I got the breakfast burrito with avocado. The jalapeños gave it a nice kick yet balanced well with the avocado. So delicious! The kids got chocolate chip pancakes, French toast, sausage and bacon. The portions for them were massive! Needless to say, we had enough left overs to take home. For strong caffeine lovers, try the cappuccino! By early lunch hour, the place was packed!! Not one seat available. I love this place and am so surprised I haven't reviewed it before (that being said some of the interior pics im posting here are from my less recent visits)!! Let it be known I've never sat down and eaten inside so I can't speak to dine in service but this place is super close to my house so I usually do a quick lunch or breakfast takeout order and have always had a great experience. The food is moderately priced, ready quickly, and they have so many great options to choose from. I've got to say the fries are the star of the show! Don't even give the breakfast potatoes or any other side a chance because you'll wish you ordered the fries. So crispy and delish! While I've enjoyed the breakfast I've gotten here, I think I enjoy the lunch options more. The paninis and wraps are so good and guess what I get as a side... FRIES. If you ask nicely they may even throw in a side of chipotle mayo to dip them into which is so yummy. Everything always tastes freshly made and is neatly packaged perfect to take on the go. Overall can't go wrong with anything you order at this spot, just have to remember they close early otherwise you'll feel sillier than a person trying to get chick-fil-a on sunday. read more

A kid friendly small business with a pretty large menu. The Corner grill is a small establishment, but has plenty of options whether you're in the mood for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The drink selection is is geared more towards soft drink and coffee items, as any of the juices come in a bottle with no refills. The best thing about this place is definitely the kid's corner! This is the perfect little local spot to grab breakfast on the weekend. A cross between cafe and diner vibes. I actually prefer it over a diner because their menu is straight forward and too the point. And you really can't go wrong with anything on it. They have a good selection of all the classics - eggs, omelettes, toast, waffles and all the breakfast meats. Of course they have a decent cup of coffee as well. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are big! We've only had one issue while we were here where they brought out the wrong dish. And not even calling them out for it as mistakes happen and it wasn't a big deal. More importantly the staff handled it perfectly, admitted they typed in the wrong order and quickly brought out the correct dish. Great customer service! The Corner grill always pops up while in the area so I decided to get some take out because of the amazing reviews, but my son and I were not impressed. We order pancakes, grits and cheese, scramble eggs, bacon, toast and a philly cheesesteak. To start off the pancakes were super dry. The bacon was too cooked and was just awful. The "cheese grits" were just plain white grits with a slice of American cheese on top. Not great at all and honestly we ended up throwing most the food out. I am giving them 1 starts because the philly cheesesteak was good except for the fact that they made it on semi old bread, but the actual steak was delicious and super flavorful. I ended up taking the steak out of bread and putting it on bread I had at home. Lastly, the last star was for the service. I wanted to love The Corner since it's close to my house and would be a convenient breakfast spot but it fell short on my list. Came here with a friend today and we found street parking pretty quickly. It's a quarter for an hour so parking really isn't a problem. There's also a side street that I'm sure has easy to find spots as well. The interior is really nice, it's clean and well kept. The Kids Corner is a nice addition to keep the little guys entertained while the adults enjoy a meal. While it's a small space, it's nice and decorated well. Service was also good, the girls were accommodating and always checked in on us. The food is really what fell short. If they had better quality ingredients to match the ambience they're putting out it would easily be 4 stars. I decided on the Kylee turkey burger and added fries, the total on that was about 10 bucks. The burger wasn't that great, the turkey patty itself wasn't the best quality. The chipotle sauce was good and they did give a fair amount of avocado but when the main ingredient just doesn't taste right, everything is thrown off. The fries, which were extra tasted either really old or fried in old oil. They definitely did not taste fresh. My friend decided on an omelette with grits and rye toast. She got mushrooms added in and they were from a can. The grits were really off, the texture was odd. Overall not a good omelette. We also got two coffees which were ok but very strong. I probably won't be back but try the place out for yourself if you're in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to try it. read more

My first time here and it will be my last. We were the only ones in the dinner and it took a while to get our food . I understand everything takes time to make ... but this was a LONG wait . My pancakes got to my table when we were done eating . The service was horrible . And there was a LONG BLACK HAIR in my daughter's scrambled eggs ... it was very noticeable I don't know how they didn't see it .... I am really disappointed. first time here... I drive by it EVERYDAY since it's a block and a half from my house. This morning, we decided to take a walk to this place. Excellent. I know it's weird, but I started with the split pea soup since I LOVE it. Was just made. Then got the chicken and waffles and a side of corned beef hash. My wife got the Corner French toast, topped with fruit and whipped cream. Only change I would've made is a good ol' fashioned piece of fried chicken instead of chicken fingers, but regardless, it was still excellent. Food was delicious, ordered the burger cooked medium , on the first look, it seemed over cooked, but it definitely was not. It was flavor full juicy, and the toasted roll completed the burger. The disco fries were also good, crispy crunchy fries. While having gravy and mozzarella on top it's very easy for fries to get soggy, these weren't the least bit. What a fantastic little place to have breakfast. I had poached eggs with a side of corned beef hash (well done) and home fries (also, well done). The bf had eggs Benedict and his meal was equally as good as mine. There is a unisex bathroom, which was very well maintained. A unique feature they had inside was a small kids area with a chalk board, board games, and a TV to keep your child entertained. Whats stopped me from giving this place a 5 star rating is all the tables where dirty when we walked in and they would clean them after people would sit n I thought that was Odd not sure if that's how they do it all the time but that was my experience also our waitress was very dry with us she didn't come back to check on us and she didn't bring napkins, my boyfriends sprite was flat and we waited for her to come back but she actually never did till she brought our check , by then I had already asked another waitress who was kind enough to get us another drink. I have eaten at the Corner Grill several time since moving to the area and I have never had a bad experience. The second time I came here they remembered me even though it had been several weeks. They are doing outside dining right now as well as carry out and delivery. The food is fresh with expressive flavors and I think reasonably priced. Try the smoothies, their creamy and delicious without being overly sweet. I will continue to frequent this little gem in North Arlington as long as they will let me. read more

This review is a bit mixed, the food here is very good, i usually order delivery through door dash. I have little to no complaints at all as far as the food. However the service at the restaurant is horrible. The staff was very nice but not attentive at all. It was about 30 mins when they finally took our order. They took forever to bring us drinks. Keeping this in mind it wasn't busy at all, there were probably 4 other parties at the restaurant. They mostly stood around chatting with each other. They offer standard American classics, but they also provided some Latin /Hispanic staples too! I was in the mood for chocolate chip pancakes so I ordered the silver dollar ones. It was 4 of us and our food took quite a while, a pair of 2 people came in quite a while after we did, and they got their food before us. Then she started bring out our plates 1 by 1. Our food wasn't even brought out together. My pancakes were not great, the sizes were inconsistent too. I've never seen this, not sure if it's a new trend? Their were barely any chocolate chips too. Mostly everyone enjoyed their order, except for 1. She ordered the chicken jalapeño ranch panini and it was VERY SOGGY. Ordered a panini on Uber Eats wanted to just change Jalapeño ranch to honey mustard because I have an allergy, this place up charges $1.00 for a condiment( or to remove anything) there were no other changes. Really$1.00???? We have ordered weekly sometimes twice from this business. The first time we order we called to see if we could change or remove condiments. We were told just put it in the notes and was NEVER EVER charged for it. We will not be ordering again from here. The excuse this business is ridiculous. read more

This place was wonderful. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the food was great, and the Kids Corner is such a great idea. I brought my 19 month old and it was such a relief to have a place for him to be entertained. I don't post too many reviews on Yelp, but this place really deserves a 5 star review My only suggestion is to have some gluten-free options available. I was able to find plenty of other things to eat, but my dad's sandwich looked so yummy and I would love to try a wrap or sandwich there sometime too. Some of the orders arrived at different times, and it seemed like service could be a tad leisurely. Service otherwise was on point, very friendly staffers working during our visit. This morning I ordered for the first time, my fiancé had a ribeye with eggs over easy. I know this isn't a 5 star restaurant but the ribeye was very thin. I ordered a grilled chicken Cesar wrap with onions, the chicken was very salty, there was barely any lettuce or onions the wrap overall was poorly made.
