Apparently they have a siesta in Anacapri cause we got in in the afternoon and wanted to find a place for a late lunch and most of the places were closed. We found this place close to the main square of Anacapri and they had a sign outside boasting the best pizza and winning some competition in Las Vegas. The guy running the place, could possibly be the owner, was a bit pushy and had an attitude. He was raving about his pizza and said that he'll pay for it if we didn't like it. His specialty was the presidente pizza - we saw so many toppings listed and didn't know what to expect. It came like a donut and the toppings were in small sections so you get to basically try 5-6 different pizzas on one pie. The crust was thin and it was folded over so quite small. One part had some thinly sliced pieces of sausage that was smoked and delicious. I didn't care too much about the greens and cheese parts though. Another weird thing was that they sold Gelato out front but when I wanted to order it for dessert they told me I had to take it to go or pay an extra 1 euro to bring it back to my table across the street. A bit shady since it's the same restaurant. Overall it was ok. Didn't like the dessert policy and the arrogant owner/server. read more
