    Spinach sauté - so good!
    Amber E.

What a lovely restaurant!, perched on the Cliff, overlooking the ocean, Mount Vesuvius and the Capri hillside. Definitely come before sunset if you can, so you can enjoy the view. Service was really impeccable, so friendly and attentive. We had the fried baby squid w/ fried shoestring zucchini and they were perfectly delicious! Then, I was craving spinach, so we had the sautéed spinach which was simple but wonderful. We split the cappriciosa pizza w/ ham, olives and mushrooms, fresh from their wood-fired oven, and it was really good, too. A very special place to celebrate our last night in Capri!

I really enjoyed our dining experience at this restaurant in Capri. The location was beautiful. You get gorgeous views from one side of the island. They also have a really nice garden. The service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I got their mushroom pasta and I was so impressed. It was one of my favorite dishes of the trip. The pasta was perfectly al dente and seasoned to perfection. Mushrooms were cooked just right. My friend got the mussel soup and a seafood pasta. She was also very happy with her dishes. Prices are also reasonable and fair. This is a spot I would definitely come back to if I visit Capri again.

A short stroll from the piazza and about a 4 minute walk from the taxi queue: Panorama is a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The restaurant boasts an exquisite view of Capri, serves delicious food, and provides great service. A special mention goes to the meticulous, cheerful, and ever-professional Frederico whose effortless deboning of a fish was a performance in itself. The highlight of our meal was undeniably the fresh catch of the day baked in sea salt (€120). Kudos to the manager Raphael for securing us the best table at a moment's notice.

My wife and I split a pizza and salad for lunch. We got the house red wine by the glass. I highly recommend Panorama! Get a reservation if you want a table with an unobstructed view of the water.

I've had this restaurant on my list for the longest time and it did not disappoint! Good ambiance and even better food. I'm usually not a lobster person, but this is seriously the best lobster I ever had with my linguine. Wish the lobster was a little bigger but the portions of the pasta was huge. Got to try my moms spaghetti with clams and that was delicious too. Solid calamari as well! Also it's super cute the entrance way there's lemon trees! Must visit if you're ever in Capri!

I came here when I was in Capri and I was absolutely satisfied! The restaurant has a outdoor seating area with a beautiful view of the coastline. We ordered the fried calamari, linguine with lobster and spaghetti with clams. Everything was so delicious and cooked to perfection. The spaghetti was simple yet very flavorful. It was the best spaghetti with clams I've ever had! The lobster was also very delicious as well. The pasta itself was cooked just the right amount of time. Staff was very friendly and prompt with requests that we had. Definitely come try out Panorama if you are in Capri!

Went here after reading Yelp reviews. I'm not sure why my experience was so different. This is my third visit to Capri so might have different standards. First off this a a tourist trap! Sorry to say but it is. I'll start with the worst. All restaurants and stores include taxs in the price listed in Italy, they do not. Also places with this kind of price point usually do not include the sit down bar charge, they did. I asked a little cafe owner about it and he said it was strange. But had the looked on his face that I got ripped off. The restaurant is cute and harbor view is okay. FYI it's not on some super high hill as suggest. You actually have to walk down a hill to get to it from street. It's the same views as all the other restaurants. The thing that kills the ambiance was the smell of toilet cleaner through out the restaurant. I couldn't believe how bad it was being it was an out door restaurant, super yucks. Food was okay. I would rate it better if my lobster and pasta actually had lobster. They literally served me an empty shell of a lobster. I hoped maybe the meat was in the pasta; but no it was not. My husband got the mussels in pasta and that was nothing special you can't by for lunch for 13 euro by the docks. Service is good.

Had our last meal in Capri at Panorama and it was a mostly nice experience. The views were pretty nice, but mostly ideal for those that actually get to sit by the edge of the terrace. When we arrived, 4 tables were available but we were told that those were specifically reserved (never mentioned to me when I emailed to book our spot and asked for such a table a week in advance). The biggest issues we dealt with related to service. Our main waiter always looked as if we had offended him, barely making eye contact with us while we ordered our items. Not to mention we waited a while between interactions with anyone from the team. The others that did come by to check on us were friendly and helpful though. The food was pretty solid for the most part. The Frittura all'Italiana was a great sampler-like option with different bites on the plate. The Gnocchi and Cacio e Pepe dishes we had were both very tasty and filling portions as well. The dessert we ordered was ok, but still gave us a cooling end to another hot day.

Amazing views!! Got pizza margarita, calamari, and gnocci, all were great and good size as well! Service was also very good. It is about a 5-10 minute walk off the main street but definitely worth it.

COME HERE WHEN IN CAPRI!!!!! Came for one day and chose this! A quick 10 min hike up a hill from the marina Capri. The views are amazing and the tables are underneath awnings and canopies of lemon trees. The staff is attentive, the food is exquisite, and the views again or some thing to die for. Come at 12 noon for a table by the wall!!

We went to Panorama on our day trip to Capri. If you want the views in the pictures you see, you need to sit outside. The indoor part of the restaurant does not give the water views you expect and is covered by other homes/buildings. We ordered the eggplant Parmesan (one of my favorites I've ever had). It was not the typical breaded eggplant Parmesan you have in the states. It tasted clean, herbaceous and fresh and was probably one of my favorite things I ate on our trip to Italy. Like many restaurants in the touristy areas, there's not a lot of homemade/fresh pasta unless you ask them for it. We tried one that was delicious too. We also ordered a veggie pizza (not pictured) that was good too. Overall, tasty food but extremely overpriced.

    Limoncello spritz and pizza napolitana
    Jessica B.

Best service we've had in all of Italy. I had the pizza Napolitana and it was excellent. The Limoncello Spritz is a must! Love, love this place. Will be back despite the reasonable hike from the docks.

Beautiful view and the staff were attentive and also very funny. The food was really good, but not as memorable as the view itself. It's a great option if you get out early for dinner in Capri, especially when a lot of other restaurants fill up or won't take walk-ins. We were able to sit right away and had a quick dinner.

We even saw him take a bite of the communal Parmesan cheese with the spoon from the dish (and the mother returned it to the bowl) which prompted us to not use the Parmesan. The pizzas were hot and fresh, we ordered the Davola and salsiccia e friarielii. Both were delicious but in the end, we love a tomato based pizza the best and should not have wavered. A glass of house wine was surprisingly reasonable at just 5 euro and was a standardly nice, juicy, easy to drink red. The bread was incredibly delicious. The smokiness from the wood oven made it possibly the most delicious bread I can remember eating. No butter. No olive oil. Just delicious. We would have loved to have tried a few of the pasta dishes that looked delicious, so our recommendation for a couple is to get a pizza and a pasta and share them. The salads also looked fresh and large. As many places in Italy, there a fee to sit at the restaurant and be served. 8 euro for both of us. The next day when waiting for our ferry ride, we popped into a pizzeria and grabbed another pizza diavola to go...what a let down. The pizza at buca di bacco was within a euro or two in price and 100% better. If you haven't had a good pizza in Italy and find yourself in Capri, at least grab one or two of their pizzas to go and eat them near the ocean overlook. Don't forget the chili flakes You will be quite content.

Food was lovely and servers were also really nice. The breadsticks on the table were so so so good. My sister actually took some extra home haha. They had a salt + garlic flavor as well as a plain breadstick. Honestly both were really good. Fresh bread we brought to the table was also nice. Eggplant Parmesan was amazing!! I really love the flavor here and everything in the dish overall. Tried it at another restaurant the previous night for dinner but this was so so so much better! Fried calamari and shrimp had good portion size. I love the actual big heads of the calamari (the rings were a bit too oily and didn't seem to have substantial flesh, but the actual heads were nice!). Got the Pizza with the tomato, mushroom, sausage and hot pepper; Viva really hoping it would be spicy because of that hot pepper but it wasn't really spicy. Quite a fresh and hot pizza though. We saw the steam coming off when it came to the table. Definitely a good sign. Everyone loved that pizza!! Ravioli Caprese was also decent. I'm not too much a fan of tomato sauce so I preferred it without the sauce itself, but everyone seem to like it. Veal Escalope aka Scallopini (game with like a lemon white sauce) was simple but a good source of protein. Not a fatty cut of meat - more like lean protein and one of the cleaner items on the menu which I appreciated. Torta Caprese was the highlight for dessert. Rich and chocolatey and the crunch from the nuts was amazing. It was a little too crumbly though so we couldn't get proper spoonfuls on the fork. Also got the Tiramisu but it wasn't as good. There was some alcohol in there and it was a bit too strong.
