We were recommended by the concierge at the hotel we were staying at Sorrento to stop here for lunch. Great service from staff. The staff made everyone happy. Two separate couples were celebrating engagement or anniversary. This is the hottest place to have lunch/dinner. We will definitely be back the next time we travel through the Amalfi Coast. Ordered two linguine plate with clams and the sauce is to die for. We asked for extra bread to dip and finish the sauce. We like the recipe to the amazing sauce. The Caprese ravioli looked scrumptious. My friend devoured it. Mixed salad for everyone. Staff plate everything on the plate so everyone gets to share. Next time will stay for dessert and expresso. We need more time to spend on the Island of Capri.

Giuseppe was super responsive, organized pick-up and drop-off for us and ended up being our server for the evening as well. The salad we had to start (with the avocados) was a very delicious start. You already pay €160 for four people, and then the umbrella is an additional €12. My mother sat down at the restaurant and said to the waiter, "By the way, congratulations, this is a beautiful place," three times in a row. She was simply trying to communicate with him and compliment him while he was clearly not busy at all. He obviously heard her, but he didn't even bother to turn around and acknowledge her. Not only that, my father was walking toward us while the same waiter was coming from the opposite direction. Instead of simply moving aside to let my father pass, he didn't move at all and almost bumped into him with his shoulder. I'm not saying that he intentionally hurt him, nor am I saying that he should be fired. I simply think that a little humility and basic courtesy should be taught. I am Italian but I live in Los Angeles. I don't consider myself superior to anyone, but I certainly don't consider myself inferior to a 20-year-old who works in Capri either. Responding to customers is basic good manners. A smile is free, and unfortunately, it is truly sad that nowadays, after spending more than €200 (we also ordered food), you can't even expect someone to make the slightest effort to be courteous. Beautiful location and a great concept, but the attitude of some of the staff really takes away from the experience.
