We walked here in the rain and it was so worth it! The restaurant is so cute and quaint, the service was great, and the food was AMAZING. The best part was as we were walking out, a woman handed us shots of homemade limoncello to try which was soooo good, best limoncello we had on the entire trip.

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights in Capri. We happened upon this restaurant on our second day for lunch and were sad not to find it sooner. It was truly our favorite restaurant in all of Capri. Diego and Pepino were exceptional and incredibly nice/attentive. We came back on our last night dinner for a delicious experience we will not soon forget. The pasta is fresh, pizza second to none and caprese salad had honestly the best mozzarella we have ever had. 11/10 can not recommend this place enough!

So good we went back twice. The Staff is by far the friendliest and attentive out of all the restaurants I've been to in Europe. The food is absolutely amazing and will make you return for a second round. Their Pasta is cooked perfectly, the flavor combination in the sauce is immaculate. The restaurant has outdoor seating, would recommend if it's still sunny outside. If not, their i door seating is classy and pristine. I cannot rave about the service enough, we had around 4 staff members checking in and attending to our every need. Please go visit if you want the best dinner ever, with amazing prices!!

By far my favorite restaurant in Capri. We ate dinner here twice and then lunch on our last day because we could not get enough of their fabulous food!! Not sure what to order? Let the chef or waiter guide you... even on the wine selection. You will not be disappointed. Everything was so fresh and incredibly flavorful. Their Diavola(sp?) wood fired pizza was to die for. My kids ordered one each and my nibble turned into a full slice. The homemade pasta with shrimp and fresh burrata was the Italian pasta experience I had been longing for but had yet to find until I came here. Ahhhh! The caprese hands down the best! You only need to add salt, pepper and their quality olive oil. Trust me and skip the balsamic. A bit of a walk... 15 minutes from the city center, up hill. Take your time and enjoy the stroll to avoid arriving as a sweaty mess like I did the first night and it is SO SO SO worth the walk. My mouth is watering. I can't wait to return.

Service was so good. I think our waitress was Regina? But everyone worked together and it was all perfect. Food was amazing. Cute outdoor patio. Felt less touristy than many other restaurants nearby. Worth the 15 minute walk from the center plaza. Wine was delicious. Could eat here every night.

If you're lucky enough to find yourself in Capri and don't own a yacht, million dollar house, or a car that costs more than my house, then go off the beaten path and find Lo Sfizio. It's not even that far from the central piazza (just look for the signs on the tiles and follow them), and you will be rewarded with a great place where locals eat! We chose to sit indoors to avoid mosquitoes, but they do have a nice outdoor area. There is also a playground next to the restaurant where we saw parents drop off their kids while eating outside. Service was one of the best we had on the island with waiters who actually care about your dining experience. Food: -Caprese salad: I pretty much ordered this everywhere I went on Capri since it's what they're known for. Lo Sfizio serves a great buffalo mozzarella--soooo creamy! -Caprese ravioli: Are you sensing a theme here? They give you a good portion of ravioli and even though it's really just cheese ravioli, it was still very good. The ravioli had a good amount of cheese and the tomato sauce wasn't acidic. -Calzone (sfalatini): I don't remember the name of which one we ordered, but it had ham and cheese in it. The calzone was really big and could easily be shared among 2 people. It was fine, not terrible, but not amazing either. In hindsight, we should've tried one of their pizzas instead.

    Caprese salad! The BEST!!!

So nice we ate there twice! Two nights in a row. Just returned from Capri and enjoyed my meals in Italy (we were also on the Amalfi coast) at Lo Sfizio. Just get ready for a trek. It's about a good twenty minute walk from Piazza Umberto with major inclines. The upside is you will be walking off all the calories you'll be taking in! On the first night I had the small fried appetizer plate, average and a little heavy but my entree, the "chef" pasta (smoked cheese with sausage and eggplant served with spaghetti) was AMAZING. This dish was the reason we returned. On the second night we had the caprese salad (mozzarella and cherry tomatoes) which was the BEST I've had. The cheese and tomatoes were absolutely fresh and savory. We cleaned our plates and were totally guilt free knowing that we couldn't replicate this gastro experience anywhere else. I took a star off since we were seated outside the main dining area next to a fence which was a little dark and not as nice. Otherwise all was on point including the service-down to the complimentary yummy limoncello they give you as a send off.

Marinated anchovies, paccheri al coccio, pizza with Parma ham, arugula, mozzarella, pommodoro, and limoncello!

Very good food. Off the beaten path a bit, so had more of that authentic Italian feel. Pizza was great

We even saw him take a bite of the communal Parmesan cheese with the spoon from the dish (and the mother returned it to the bowl) which prompted us to not use the Parmesan. The pizzas were hot and fresh, we ordered the Davola and salsiccia e friarielii. Both were delicious but in the end, we love a tomato based pizza the best and should not have wavered. A glass of house wine was surprisingly reasonable at just 5 euro and was a standardly nice, juicy, easy to drink red. The bread was incredibly delicious. The smokiness from the wood oven made it possibly the most delicious bread I can remember eating. No butter. No olive oil. Just delicious. We would have loved to have tried a few of the pasta dishes that looked delicious, so our recommendation for a couple is to get a pizza and a pasta and share them. The salads also looked fresh and large. As many places in Italy, there a fee to sit at the restaurant and be served. 8 euro for both of us. The next day when waiting for our ferry ride, we popped into a pizzeria and grabbed another pizza diavola to go...what a let down. The pizza at buca di bacco was within a euro or two in price and 100% better. If you haven't had a good pizza in Italy and find yourself in Capri, at least grab one or two of their pizzas to go and eat them near the ocean overlook. Don't forget the chili flakes You will be quite content.

Food was lovely and servers were also really nice. The breadsticks on the table were so so so good. My sister actually took some extra home haha. They had a salt + garlic flavor as well as a plain breadstick. Honestly both were really good. Fresh bread we brought to the table was also nice. Eggplant Parmesan was amazing!! I really love the flavor here and everything in the dish overall. Tried it at another restaurant the previous night for dinner but this was so so so much better! Fried calamari and shrimp had good portion size. I love the actual big heads of the calamari (the rings were a bit too oily and didn't seem to have substantial flesh, but the actual heads were nice!). Got the Pizza with the tomato, mushroom, sausage and hot pepper; Viva really hoping it would be spicy because of that hot pepper but it wasn't really spicy. Quite a fresh and hot pizza though. We saw the steam coming off when it came to the table. Definitely a good sign. Everyone loved that pizza!! Ravioli Caprese was also decent. I'm not too much a fan of tomato sauce so I preferred it without the sauce itself, but everyone seem to like it. Veal Escalope aka Scallopini (game with like a lemon white sauce) was simple but a good source of protein. Not a fatty cut of meat - more like lean protein and one of the cleaner items on the menu which I appreciated. Torta Caprese was the highlight for dessert. Rich and chocolatey and the crunch from the nuts was amazing. It was a little too crumbly though so we couldn't get proper spoonfuls on the fork. Also got the Tiramisu but it wasn't as good. There was some alcohol in there and it was a bit too strong.
