    Limoncello Spritza

This restaurant was a gem. It is located just a short walk from the Positano coastline , but enough distance away from the Amalfi crowds to offer the perfect amount of peace/quiet mixed in with the spectacular views Positano is known for. Food was delicious. The grilled fish was flaky and tasty. Even the fried fish had so much flavor and was light (you could barely tell it was fried). Staff was great and welcoming. I would advise making reservations at least a day before although we made reservations the morning of and were fine.

We had a great dinner here during our time in Positano. We did not have a reservation, but we arrived right when they opened and they were able to seat us. If you want a good view, be sure to make a reservation! We got a half bottle of wine, the focaccia, and we asked the server what else he recommended. We followed his recommendations of the frutti di mare with homemade pasta and the grilled seafood. Everything was delicious and service was kind. Definitely worth a stop while in Positano.

I dined here during the last night of my trip to the Amalfi coast. The location might be my favorite out of all the restaurants I visiting during my vacation. Located at the edge of Positano outside of the bustling town center, you walk a little path up a hill and eventually reach this quaint spot. I requested outdoor seating and was given the perfect table overlooking the ocean. The service was perfect, as with all other places I dined while in Italy. I ordered a glass of white wine and focaccia. For the main course I got a lemon risotto with shrimp. It was delicious. I was able to eat at a slow pace and simply enjoy the views. I was traveling solo but I felt this would be a wonderful romantic dining experience to have with someone. I highly recommend adding this place to your list for the next time you visit Positano.

Lo Guarracino was the perfectly upscale casual spot for our first night in Positano. We loved the half bottles of wine option and had Pinot Grigio and then a Chianti with our entrees. We had split the eggplant parm (very delicious and cheesy in its little baking crock), and pizza. Our table outside facing the ocean was so pretty, and our servers were extremely great and friendly! Our server brought us a complimentary shot of limoncello after our meal. We ended up closing the place down that night!

Great restaurant with delicious food. Would definitely recommend making reservations around sunset as it is located on the beach. We got the spaghetti (it was one of the only options for homemade pasta) and pizza. The pizza here was definitely one of our favorites that we had during the entire trip. They are pretty busy so I would recommend making reservations.

Lovely restaurant just up the hill! Worth the climb! Everything was delicious. The mussels were so sweet!

La Guarracino is a beautiful and romantic restaurant secluded at the end of the main beach. You have to walk a pathway to the top of the hill to reach it. I went at night and could not see the view, but based on the location I can only imagine it to be fabulous. The pizza was delicious, same with the white wine and Tiramissu that we ordered. The ambiance marvelous. I highly recommend you to visit this restaurant when in Positano.

    Spicy salami pizza

My parents stumbled upon this place 6 years ago and have often mentioned it when discussing the best pizza they have ever had (which means a lot given one of them is Italian and the other is from NY). We took the walk up to find it and it definitely lived up to their hype. Really great flavor on the pizza; I had spicy salami, and my parents had mushroom and the chili oliveoil ones. Would definitely go back!!!

Many other reviewers have mentioned that this is the best meal that they've had in the entire country and unfortunately, without sounding like a false advertisement, I absolutely must agree. This was the best meal I have had in the entire country and I have traveled Italy extensively. They only have a couple of tables, the brothers, along with mama and Bridget, deliver an incredible meal, incredible experience, and the way the patrons feel after the experience cannot be matched. What the hell if we ordered Caesar salad, then meatballs, then gnocchi, then seafood with linguine, then the local catch of the day which today was amberjack, then ribeye, then dessert. I'm not alone in my prayer of this restaurant, my wife and my three children are unanimous that this was the absolute best meal that they have had in Italy. I strongly recommend this restaurant, but I would mention that you need to get there early because they do not take reservations. Please feel free to joke with Bridget about her Texan roots and her hallmark story which caused her to settle in Positano!

The Caprese salad was fresh and bursting with flavor, and the prosciutto salad was beautifully balanced with just the right mix of savory and sweet. Every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The drinks were equally impressive. The house Posides Spritz was refreshing and perfectly balanced made with a cherry liquor, and the limoncello spritz was smooth, bright, and easily one of the best we've had in Italy. We finished with an affogato that was the perfect finale, rich espresso poured over creamy gelato for a sweet, satisfying finish along with the seasonal cake. Service was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout the evening, making the experience feel personal and relaxed. The restaurant is a bit of a walk from the city center with a few stairs to climb, but it's absolutely worth it. The stroll back down afterward is the perfect way to walk off the meal. Between the amazing food, stunning terrace views, and kind service, Posides is a true Positano gem.

This was our first meal after arriving in Positano and we couldn't have asked for a better one. We arrived in Positano around 10 PM on a Saturday night. This restaurant was on our itinerary and was a 2 minute walk from our hotel. We walked up around 10:30 and they sat us immediately on the outdoor patio. We ordered grilled octopus to start and it might have been the freshest and tastiest grilled octopus I've ever eaten. We also ordered a spicy green sauce pasta that was top 3 best things we ate on our entire trip. I wish I knew the name of it so that I could mention it here. We also ordered a prosciutto and burrata pizza. My wife isn't a huge fan of prosciutto so she didn't enjoy it as much as I did. But I would happily eat that pizza again and again. The staff were very kind and friendly. They didn't ever seem annoyed that we came in later at night. Every day that we walked past them to go into the main center of Positano, they smiled and invited us back in or asked how we were doing. They don't have the same view that other restaurants might have, but what they lack in a view, they make up for in quality and service.
