Worst service I've ever had. Was so excited to eat here after hearing good things but right off since the beginning, our waiter was rude and my dish was very dry. I couldn't even eat it but by the time he came back, it was too long to switch it out and then when we asked for the check, they asked how it was and I told them I did not like it and they just said okay. Don't waste your time or money here.

One of the restaurants on the Michelin apps so we decided to give it a try. We grabbed a table outside which has nice view of the city but not as stunning of a view as the restaurant next to them, Restaurant Positano. Our waiter was very attentive. He let us ordered 1/2 of a couple of appetizers because he overheard me wanting to try the fried zucchini flower while my husband wanted to try the calzone. The fried zucchini flower is a must try if you happen to see it on their special. For entree we had the red snapper and black truffle pasta. Get the red snapper. It was grilled to perfection and came on a bed of veggie and lemon sauce. Absolutely delicious. The pasta, though it sounded good, it was quite bland.

I felt like the restaurant did not live up to the hype. Coming from Rome and Florence, the pasta did not compare. The restaurant has a great location with a view of the water. The fried calzones were delicious. I ordered the shrimp pasta and broccoli for dinner. There was barely any shrimp in the pasta and the broccoli was very bitter. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing!

Best food we had during our time in Positano. I would highly recommend getting reservations, otherwise the wait can be 1-2 hours (on off season!). Their reservations open 1 month in advance. We got the fried calzone dish, clam pasta, and lamb chops. To top it off, we finished with a tiramisu. Absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a nice bottle of Langhe Nebbiolo, not native to the region obviously, but one of our favorites. The ambiance was quaint, made to resemble a cave. 10/10 would recommend coming here and bringing a loved one.

On a beautiful night, we took a seat outside and were treated to wonderful food and amazing service! Food and drinks were all amazing, the view and people watching was fun. If you get too chilly, they have blankets. The staff is fun, outgoing and attentive. We dream of going back to Positano and dining at Da Vincenzo again!

This was on our must list after all the hype. It was very good but not our best meal in Positano. The lemon cake and espresso martini were the highlights. Service was friendly. It's a busy spot next to the road. We had to make reservations a few weeks in advance.

We had a very good meal here on one of our last nights in Positano. Service was great. I particularly liked the truffle risotto and linguine with clams, and my husband liked his lamb. We asked for sautéed broccolini and instead got sautéed spinach. We didn't want to make a fuss so we ate it, but it was quite soggy and lacked flavor. I also had tiramisu which was just ok. My husband loved his panna cotta.

Da Vincenzo was excellent. I highly suggest making reservations if you intend on grabbing dinner here. This was my favorite dinner in Positano. You won't have too much of a view but I promise the food and the service is great.

We had dinner at Da Vincenzo in Positano and it was honestly so good. I got the lamb chops. My partner had pasta and it was just as delicious. Their wine selection is great too, and the whole vibe felt really relaxed. Just make sure to book ahead, especially during high season, it fills up fast.

Incredible staff and food!!! We loved our server so much and it was a great first impression to Positano. Highly recommend this restaurant, would give a 6/5 if I could. So professional, kind and charming

Da Vincenzo is a must if you're visiting Positano, but be sure to make a reservation. It's a unique restaurant with part of it enclosed in a cave and away from the beach area. Food is amazing! Started with the mussels and deep fried ricotta, the mussels are a must! Devoured every single one with the soup plus there was like 30 in the dish. As for the pasta, I split the pasta, but should have ordered our own. I do wish the shrimp were actually prawns vs. the baby shrimp. Service was great, very attentive! Can't wait to go back!

While this wasn't on our initial list, it was right across the street from our hotel and came highly recommended. It was an amazing first meal in Positano! We stopped by a few minutes after they opened and got a table right inside. The service was great throughout the meal with great recommendations, the right amount of checking in, etc. For starters we had the artichoke and the panzerotti both which were so good. The fondue with the artichoke was unique and yet we couldn't stop eating. For mains we had the nerano and the ravioli which may have been the best pasta we ate on our Italy trip. To round out the meal, we had a white wine recommended by our server which was the perfect compliment. All in all, please reserve a table and try this place!!

What a welcoming restaurant with delicious food! We were greeted with smiling faces and immediately seated for lunch on a Saturday, despite the fact that our reservation was booked for the wrong day. We ordered the octopus appetizer, a seafood pasta dish and the veal. All were spectacular and so nicely plated! My husband said the veal was so tender and melt in your mouth. The seafood pasta I had was also delicious, and I couldn't wait to finish it. At the end we finished with a tiramisu that we saw on reviews that it was the best ever, and it was indeed the best tiramisu we've ever had. Not even joking! Overall, one of our favorite restaurants of our whole Italy trip. Highly recommend!

Many other reviewers have mentioned that this is the best meal that they've had in the entire country and unfortunately, without sounding like a false advertisement, I absolutely must agree. This was the best meal I have had in the entire country and I have traveled Italy extensively. They only have a couple of tables, the brothers, along with mama and Bridget, deliver an incredible meal, incredible experience, and the way the patrons feel after the experience cannot be matched. What the hell if we ordered Caesar salad, then meatballs, then gnocchi, then seafood with linguine, then the local catch of the day which today was amberjack, then ribeye, then dessert. I'm not alone in my prayer of this restaurant, my wife and my three children are unanimous that this was the absolute best meal that they have had in Italy. I strongly recommend this restaurant, but I would mention that you need to get there early because they do not take reservations. Please feel free to joke with Bridget about her Texan roots and her hallmark story which caused her to settle in Positano!

The Caprese salad was fresh and bursting with flavor, and the prosciutto salad was beautifully balanced with just the right mix of savory and sweet. Every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The drinks were equally impressive. The house Posides Spritz was refreshing and perfectly balanced made with a cherry liquor, and the limoncello spritz was smooth, bright, and easily one of the best we've had in Italy. We finished with an affogato that was the perfect finale, rich espresso poured over creamy gelato for a sweet, satisfying finish along with the seasonal cake. Service was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout the evening, making the experience feel personal and relaxed. The restaurant is a bit of a walk from the city center with a few stairs to climb, but it's absolutely worth it. The stroll back down afterward is the perfect way to walk off the meal. Between the amazing food, stunning terrace views, and kind service, Posides is a true Positano gem.

This was our first meal after arriving in Positano and we couldn't have asked for a better one. We arrived in Positano around 10 PM on a Saturday night. This restaurant was on our itinerary and was a 2 minute walk from our hotel. We walked up around 10:30 and they sat us immediately on the outdoor patio. We ordered grilled octopus to start and it might have been the freshest and tastiest grilled octopus I've ever eaten. We also ordered a spicy green sauce pasta that was top 3 best things we ate on our entire trip. I wish I knew the name of it so that I could mention it here. We also ordered a prosciutto and burrata pizza. My wife isn't a huge fan of prosciutto so she didn't enjoy it as much as I did. But I would happily eat that pizza again and again. The staff were very kind and friendly. They didn't ever seem annoyed that we came in later at night. Every day that we walked past them to go into the main center of Positano, they smiled and invited us back in or asked how we were doing. They don't have the same view that other restaurants might have, but what they lack in a view, they make up for in quality and service.
