Amazing. We went for dinner twice. Highlights were the tiramisu, lasagna, pizza. They don't take reservations for 2 but they get you seated pretty quick. read more

TLDR: The food was amazing and the staff were kind and accommodating despite getting there later at night. This was our first meal after arriving in Positano and we couldn't have asked for a better one. We arrived in Positano around 10 PM on a Saturday night. This restaurant was on our itinerary and was a 2 minute walk from our hotel. We walked up around 10:30 and they sat us immediately on the outdoor patio. We ordered grilled octopus to start and it might have been the freshest and tastiest grilled octopus I've ever eaten. We also ordered a spicy green sauce pasta that was top 3 best things we ate on our entire trip. I wish I knew the name of it so that I could mention it here. We also ordered a prosciutto and burrata pizza. My wife isn't a huge fan of prosciutto so she didn't enjoy it as much as I did. But I would happily eat that pizza again and again. The staff were very kind and friendly. They didn't ever seem annoyed that we came in later at night. Every day that we walked past them to go into the main center of Positano, they smiled and invited us back in or asked how we were doing. They don't have the same view that other restaurants might have, but what they lack in a view, they make up for in quality and service. read more

Absolutely the worst meal we have had anywhere! Horrible! seared tuna was uneatable and seafood pasta was as well

This restaurant was right below our bed and breakfast and we did receive a small discount when we ate here. Overall quite delicious and they said they had the "best pizza" and would have to agree with that statement, is likely best in Positano. Service was always friendly to us. We came back twice during our most recent trip. The seafood pasta and the chicken with potatoes are all fine options. It is a bit on the pricier side and there is a cover fee for the service added to your tab. read more

Started with the fried calamari, zucchini, and shrimp -- absolutely amazing! The creamy lemony dressing that came with it was the perfect complement to match the fried foods. The zucchini were like little French fries -- super thin, crispy, and well-salted. Such a great start to the meal. For my main, I had the spaghetti aglio e olio, which was just okay. The pasta was nicely al dente, but it didn't have much garlic or flavor overall -- I've honestly made better at home. Pleasant wait staff though. read more

YES! Food here was soooooo gooood ! It's where we ate our first night here and I'll never forget how delicious the food was !!! The staff were super kind and they remembered us and said hi every time we walked by the restaurant. It doesn't have a view, but they do have outdoor seating which is nice. It's located on the more quiet side of the mountain / town. I would definitely go back to this spot! It was soo soo yummy!! I never had the olive oil green pasta sauce before but I would totally order it next time I come across it. Pasta: 10/10 Pizza: 8/10 Grilled Octopus: 8/10 Overall one of the most memorable and best food spots I had in Positano and I highly recommend it. read more

Amazing service from this 65 year old Italian favorite restaurant close to water views. We found this from our driver who took us to Postano today and the owner Marulou could not have been more welcoming. The margarita pizza had a wonderful crisp crust with perfectly soft center .With delicious easy to pull apart mozzerella and house made sauce. We were in pizza heaven. The pizza is coal fired so be prepared that the edges might be slightly charred . A bottle of lambrusco for $20 and capped since did not finish. Would return for the exquisite casual atmosphere and be prepared to be impressed ! Not so hidden gem and worth a visit! read more

This place is so cute for a stop while staying in Positano. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the time it took for us to eat the entire meal from being seated to paying. Seemed slow moving but we enjoyed it. I loved my pasta, shrimp ravioli with pea puree. The veggies we ordered and salad were nice too! Highly recommend but be prepared for it to take awhile. Staff were all very sweet! read more

Service was very good. People were friendly and drinks and courses were paced well. The prosciutto mozzarella appetizer was delicious! We also split two pizzas, the mortadella special (not my cup of tea) and the Margherita (a little soupy/more neopolitan style but our favorite of the two). My aperol spritz was also prepared great! Prices were quite reasonable. read more

Fast, friendly service. They take reservations but despite that we still managed to snag a table without one early for dinner. The pizza came fast, hot and fresh. The panna cottage was smooth and sweet, and the tiramisu was also smooth and creamy. The space is very tight but intimate and the ceramic and light fixtures are beautiful! read more

Felt like a tourist spot. Food was alright. Prices were standard maybe a bit high. Probably would not go back.

Best pizza I've ever had, delicious tuna. Great gelato and tiramisu. Giovanni was great, incredible service. Also just a great spot, right on the street with cars and bikes riding by. So beautiful! read more

Such an amazing place we stumbled upon!!! We were so happy to stop here. We were hungry and didn't have any dinner resos, so decided to walk around the town to find a place for pizza. At first the plan was to take it easy and get takeaway pizza but this place caught our eye right before we could turn back. Their prices were reasonable so we decided to give it a chance! I ordered the margarita and my husband got the lasagna. We got some grilled vegetables to start off. Grilled veggies were oily, but good. Not what we're used to but good to have as a side. My pizza came out soon after and man, it was the one of the best pizzas I've had. Crust was thin, crispy, yet soft and melt in your mouth in the center! My husband's lasagna was scorching hot and also amazingly delicious. I used my crust to dip into the sauce at the end. This is a wonderful place to eat in Positano, and I would very much recommend this place! read more

A solid spot for dinner that is more affordable than other restaurants in the area. We tried various dishes here - grilled mixed vegetables, fried antipasto that included fried noodles and zucchini, lasagna, fusili bolognese, pizza, seafood risotto and clams linguine. All pretty good! The risotto was slightly gummy, but had bountiful seafood. The lasagna and fusili were hearty. Service was very personable and welcoming! read more

Went to Saraceno d'Oro last night and have to say it was such a great experience! From the start, we arrived a little early so our table wasn't quite ready. We were politely asked if we wouldn't mind waiting on the windy road in front until the table was ready...of course it wasn't a problem but they brought over a complimentary glass of perseco for me and my family! Once we were seated, immediately connected with Teresa our waitress...she was fantastic! Didn't hurt that she had ties back to where we live on Long Island...food and service here are top of the line in Positano!!! read more

So good we came back twice! We did the long walk in Positano from the ferry all the way up the hill for this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Just take looks at the photos taken on both days. I'm an Italian food snob and this place impressed me. The staff was very friendly. Ambiance was lively. One side of the restaurant is across a small road with lots of cars and people watching. read more

The ambiance was fine....we are in Positano! However, this place seemed like it catered primarily to tourists who did not know what good food is supposed to taste like. I am an Italian American who has traveled extensively through Italy and had parents and grandparents (who were born in Positano) who cooked authentic Italian cuisine. This food was mediocre at best. The seafood on my pasta was cold and it seemed mass produced. The flavor was lacking any seasoning that I would expect from Italian cuisine. The service was fine. The lemon cake that I had at the end was fine as well. My partner had lasagne which was ok. I should not have "ok" food in Positano. The Osteria down the street from my home in the U.S was better. read more

This place is definitely worth a visit if you're in Positano. We actually went here twice in 2 days because it was just that good. We got the divola pizza the first visit along with their house wine which were both delicious! On the second visit we tried the lasagna and seafood pasta and both were fantastic! I also tried the pineapple cocktail which was splendid. The service and decor were also wonderful. Don't miss this spot! read more

Came here with my wife while on our honeymoon. We tried the Margherita and Bolognese Pasta. She had a Peach Bellini and I had a Red Bull Vodka (which was a surprise) most places in Italy that we visited didn't have it on their menu. The food was good and the staff was friendly. The best part of this restaurant was the value. The food was good and the price was much more affordable than other restaurants in the area. I recommend giving this place a try for traditional Italian food with good service and good bang for your buck. read more

Every YT'er and TikTok blogger seems to recommend this spot, but it was worth the hype. It was one of our favorite pizza spots during our two week trip in Italy. The pizza napoletana is the 'STG' or old style here- think less airy, thin somewhat 'soggy' body, blend of two cheeses and delicious fresh toppings. Contrast this with the contemporary style pizza napoletana (widely available in the US w/ moist and dough-ier crust). Service was a bit sassy, but overall fine. We enjoyed a nice outdoor lunch here and would recommend this for authentic Napoli-style pizza in Positano. read more

Arrived in Positano after almost a 24 hour travel day. We were exhausted and hadn't eaten in way too long. We strolled the streets and just stumbled upon this place, not knowing it was ranked the number one restaurant on Yelp for the area. They immediately asked us if we'd like to sit and eat, got our drinks and menus right away. We decided on two pizzas: the Saraceno and the Diavola. My husband and I agree that we have never eaten more delicious pizza in our lives. The crust, the sauce, the flaky Parmesan on top and even the spicy olive oil to drizzle on top, it was insanely good. We are already planning to go back tomorrow to try the pasta. This place was amazing. It's a must try for sure. read more

Stayed at this hotel while visiting Positano; and decided to eat here one night. A top notch restaurant, high-end (and accordingly priced.) - but the service was beyond reproach, the food, absolutely amazing. In typical Italian style, you generally order each course for each person, so the portion sizes are accordingly proportionate (not really intended or designed to be shared) but we had been eating out every day/night for 10 days, so were just managing our intake and shared two appetizers (octopus and raw fish sampler) - they were small (again, intended for a single diner) but were delicious. My wife had the Mediterranean lobster which was one of the most amazing lobsters we ever tasted. I had the braised pork neck, which was similarly amazing. Overall; a great dinner, with an AMAZING view and fantastic service....and the bill reflected all of that; but we were happy to have the experience. read more

The Contadina pizza was the best pizza we had in all of Italy! We ordered this pie at the recommendation of our server and it did not disappoint! The spaghetti nerano was also wonderful. I heard really great things about this restaurant and wanted to try it during our stay here in Positano. I was left slightly disappointed with my meal, but I still do understand the appeal of this restaurant. When we visited here on a weekday evening, it was already very busy but the servers were able to sneak us into a table in the corner. The restaurant itself is very cozy and decorated with interesting artwork. For food, I ordered the mushroom ravioli which was tasty but didn't leave me very full. For the price I was expecting a bit more, but I probably should've just ordered something else. The other people at my table ordered lasagna which seemed more filling and equally as delicious. read more

Food wasnt great. Very bland and risotto was very fishy. My worst meal in positano. Also servers were kind of rude.

We walked up many steps to get to this restaurant. The other option was to follow the main road out of town around, which was way more walking. It took us about 15 minute from the port to get here. It was worth it. Our party of 4 was seated inside, where it was air conditioned, with no wait. Our server was with us immediately and was very knowledgable about the menu. We ordered and the food came out shortly after that. I had the veal scallopini with the mushroom sauce and was very satisfied with my meal. There was a decent amount of meat and the sauce was great, the perfect thickness and not to rich like some other places. We never felt the pressure to turn the table and had an enjoyable meal after a long day of walking. read more

(Italy Edition) My fav meal in Positano. Sampled several restaurants on this same street on the west side of spiaggia grande up on the hill. Pasta was on-point and sauces were fresh and flavourful. Pizza was also good. Prices reasonable for this area and portions also larger than average. Really enjoyed dining on the patio right on the street as people/cars drove by the scenic view of the water. Food: 9/10 Value: 8/10 Service: 7/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 read more

If you read about this place online, STAY AWAY! The WORST customer service we had in all of Italy -- their attitude is definitely that they are doing you the favor! I reached out about takeout and they said the full menu is takeout, called to ask about the menu and was told to come in person and was hung up on, and walked there to order and was told a half and hour wait. And was spoken to very rudely by the staff. Avoid if you want a restful meal with respectful staff -- because you will not find that here. read more

A little disappointed after all the reviews provided by influences maybe I had too high of hopes. Pizza was thin and soggy with a big bready crust. Had the margarita, calzone and funghi, all had the same base. The spaghetti was too al dente for me but with good flavor from the tomato, olives and capers. The lemon sherbet was refreshing. Overall, it was OK. The kicker was they added 24% service fee. Wow! read more
