This restaurant was right across the street from our hotel so we decided to try it. Food was delicious. Top Notch Italian Fair. Large selection of choices. We ended up eating here 2 days out of our 4-day stay. Although the service was quick, the only down size was the servers did not have much personality. No real conversation at all. Dinner here with mussels in pepper, spaghetti bolognese and pizza with tomato. Prompt and good service, but waiter annoyed since we didn't purchase sparking water. Asked for glass of water and he eventually served it to my husband with no ice. Had to ask for ice. Next am realized he never returned my cc, luckily my hotel was next door and went to pick up. We just finished our second consecutive dinner here. It's right across the street from our hotel. The price, quality of food and friendly service is second to none. Last night, we started with fried zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta. Fantastic! Spaghetti with zucchini and veal scalloping for entrees. Again, fantastic. Lemon gelato served in a frozen lemon. Tonight, we each had a pizza and they were delicious. We'll eat there at least once more while here. I highly recommend trying this out gem! read more

This place is fantastic! Gives small family owned vibes, authentic, fairly priced in a very tourist-trap area. The pizza was the best I've had in Italy-I had the spicy salami bianche pizza and it was delicious. Kiddo had lasagna-also delicious! Husband had fried sardines, calamari, and shrimp which he loved! My cousin and I came here because it was across the street from our hotel and got it decent reviews on TripAdvisor. Even at 830pm on Saturday night, we were seated immediately and our waiter came within 2 mins to take our drink order. The food was delicious and authentic, the waitstaff was welcoming and polite and the food came out relatively quickly. The clientele was a good mix of locals and tourists which we liked. We ordered the bufala pizza and the sciagliatelli with eggplant. Both were delicious and so authentic. With a bottle of wine, a side salad and an appetizer the bill came to somewhere around €55 which is pretty reasonable for 2 people. read more

They have 3 pages of pizza on the menu to choose from with sauce, without sauce, and specialty. It's made to order, thin crust with puffy edges. It's probably the best pizza I ever had, maybe top 2 lol. Ate here 2 nights in a row because of the great food and service. Make sure to save room for dessert! The rum baba is soaked in rum right before its plated, and the lemon cake was fresh and creamy. Anyway, come for lunch or dinner and you will not be disappointed. Great food, attentive service and moderate prices. Seafood is delicious!! So fresh and decent portions. I had the sautéed seafood for dinner and a side of fries. My husband had the spaghetti with lobster and accordingly, the tomato sauce was homemade, the pasta was fresh and the lobster was fresh. We had the mozzarella and tomato appetizer. The tomatoes are soooo good here. Also, we asked for butter in other restaurants for the bread and this was the only one this week that brought us butter and anything else we asked for. I only gave this place four stars because I didn't sit down and eat. I ordered two pizzas to go and they were fantastic. I ordered a beer and they came out hot and ready to go in ten minutes. Glad I waited to write my review.. had dinner here last night and as I suspected, ended up with a case of food poisoning. After just coming from Napoli, I had eaten so much pizza that I was in the mood for something different. I ordered the black seafood raviloli with a pumpkin sauce and pistachios. It came out barely warm. I ate a few bites but couldn't finish it and now I'm glad that I didn't. I know eating seafood can be risky, but honestly serving fish of any kind that is not freshly cooked is unacceptable. Food was obviously premade and rewarmed before serving, but not to the correct temperature. Overall, everything lacked flavor and was my least favorite meal in 3 weeks of being in Italy. Not sure about the other reviews saying it was a local spot because I didn't see a single Italian in the place (minus the staff). Service was very friendly but not at all worth the sickness that followed. Eat pizza or stay away! read more

Don't expect gourmet anything but very plain basic Italian food at affordable pricing. Service was not so good perhaps because they became very busy with large parties. Great pizza! We enjoyed the experience as it is where the locals go - nice change from the touristy places. We had a pizza with the spicy salami on it - excellent. We loved the crust - a little chewy with a nice flavor from the wood burning oven. The mixed grilled vegetables were great too - nicely seasoned with a great fresh flavor. My wife had the seafood plate with 2 kinds of fish, squid, and whole prawn. This was very good for the price but not the best we've had. I was traveling alone and staying just around the corner when I got a craving for pizza. I'm so glad I stopped here! It's filled with mostly Italians, so it's legit. I ordered some salad and pizza...my waiter saw me reading at the table since I was alone, so he invited me back into the kitchen to meet the staff and watch my pizza be made -- so fun!
