Absolutely delicious pizza here!! This place came highly recommended by an Anacapri local and I'm do glad I stopped by. They are so kind here and their food is delicious. I still have to try more foods from here next time :)

I am hesitant to write this review because I do not want to overhype this place, but I have eaten all over the world and this place is truly special. DO NOT LET THE ENTRANCE FOOL YOU. There is a an idyllic covered patio in back lined with lemon trees, which is a lovely place to eat, and the food is nothing short of exquisite. The pizza was fabulous, the pastas were unique and you can taste the nuance of every single fresh ingredient. The drinks are wine are top notch, and the owner Salvatore takes great pride in providing a special experience. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Do not get suckered into having lunch at the closer places to the taxi stop in Anacapri - do yourself a favor and visit this gem. You will not regret it!

This place is great! The service was good, food was good and the dessert was amazing!!! Nice and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend. I had the burrata pizza, and looking at other dishes, everything looked delicious.

Pesto pizza and prosciutto e funghi pizzas, very delicious!

This was the first place we decided to go to while staying in anacapri down the road, how could we not with the number of wonderful reviews?! The food and table wine were delicious, prices were very reasonable. The pizzas are large! Our recommendation is to go here on an evening when you have time to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Our only complaint was that we asked for the check 3 times before we were finally able to pay (took about 40 minutes). Had we come with the mindset to sit and enjoy the beautiful night/courtyard this wouldn't have been a problem however we had just spent 20 hours traveling from NY to Capri and we were exceptionally tired, so this was a little bit trying for us. The waiter ultimately cracked a joke that we would get the bill tomorrow, we laughed but really we were very much looking to go to bed.

Starting to feel SOL after many restaurants were closed for turnover one of the waiters a few doors down recommended us here. Feeling a bit defeated, my bf and I were seated in the back garden area surrounded by eggplants, tall sunflowers and fresh basil plants at the center of the every table. As two Latinos coming from NYC we felt right at home listening to the lively music of our native countries. I looked at him and said "we are definitely having a great meal here, a happy chef means great food." And our best meal in Italy was had. We had the orecchiette ai frutti di mare and capricciosa pizza (salame, prosciutto, mushrooms and mozzzzzzerella). I still dream of those little fresh hat shaped pastas nestled in the fresh garlicky mussels and clams. The seafood was exactly what I expected of Capri and the Mediterranean sea. The pizza was of course doughy, oozing in fresh mozzarella and overflowing in salami and prosciutto. The fresh basil from the garden making a welcomed hint of freshness. Our meal was paired with one of the smoothest negronis we've had and a Aperol Spritz. For desert we shared a tiramisu and two cappuccinos to finish off our Italian meal. I will regret not having anything with eggplant from the menu as they were the star of the garden.

My husband and I were drawn to Aumm Aumm because it was a little deeper inside Anacapri, and away from the more touristy areas. That, and they had a reasonable number of vegetarian options on their menu. That evening, their menu was boasting home made pappardelle pasta, which we knew we had to try. Unfortunately, the sauce was not vegetarian friendly, but when we asked the waiter if he could make something vegetarian friendly for us, he immediately made a number of suggestions, and we landed at pappardelle with zucchini blossoms, in a delicious creamy white sauce. The pappardelle ended up being some of the best pasta we had while on our honeymoon! My husband ordered a pesto pizza, and absolutely loved it. The crust was chewy to perfection, and the pesto wasn't too oily such that it made the pizza soggy. Aumm Aumm has a wonderfully casual vibe, and the waitstaff are all warm and welcoming. It's worth taking the extra walk to enjoy!

Twenty years from now, I'll still be bragging to my neighbors about the pizza that I ate at a quaint neighborhood restaurant in Anacapri. Where every male who walked in, walked to the back to greet the pizza maker in back. A bustling restaurant where only Italian was spoken and we were the only Americans there. A restaurant that made me one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Dough that was exactly as bread should be. --chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. Light as air. Then perfectly charred, made possible by the aged brick oven in back. Topped with pesto and cherry tomatoes with mozzarella and ricotta piled high. I couldn't stop myself from saying how much I loved it for the entire duration of dinner. I am already looking forward to tomorrow when I get to eat my leftovers. Leftovers on vacation? For this pizza? Yessss. Hubs ordered a sausage and broccoli rabe. He loved it. I would argue that mine was better, simply because his had broccoli rabe on it and mine did not. I like broccoli rabe, but not on pizza. ;) As we were leaving, hubs mentioned the pizza he'll get next time we're here in Anacapris. Next time? Okay! To note: Pizzas average €6-8. They bring complimentary limoncello when they bring you the bill.

Holy Moly is all I have to say! This was such a delicious meal. Only a stones throw away from our Airbnb we decided to grab takeout for a picnic and we were very impressed. We had looked at the menu prizes before going but were shocked to learn how much cheaper the takeout menu was. Our total ended up being €19 for 2 pizzas and a salad! Both pizzas were very good although I would say I liked the Margarita slightly more. The dough was very similar to what you get in Naples which we were pleasantly surprised about and by far my favorite was the Caprese salad. So much flavor was packed into this salad! Overall such a great find and I recommend if you are in Anacapri.

    Pizza Margherita

Beautiful outdoor garden seating. The Pizza Margherita was good but the Ziti Al' Arrabiata was Excellent!!! Definitely a meal worth repeating and I will be back!!!

I was recommended Mauricio 's pizza from a friend of the family. The restaurant is up the mountain in Anacapri. It's worth the narrow ride. I had a basic pizza with smoked ham. The crust was perfect. Crispy and airy. The sauce was very good. The pizza was greasy, you could taste the olive oil and hints of basil. We got complimentary pistachio liquor.. I'm not going to lie it was gross. But I don't like drinks like that. As a fat kid, it has been a dream come true to eat pizza in Italy.

Good pizzeria in Anna capri. Looks small from the outside and if your not paying attention you could walk right by it. Stopped in and had the diavolo pizza and it was fantastic.

Hi vissuto in Italia per 20 anni. I lived in Italy for 20 years. This restaurant came highly recommended to me. Tried it this evening and will never return. Air inside is STALE and stuffy. A GNAT flew into my wine glass and there were BIG FLIES flying over my and several other tables. Needless to say, I demanded a new glass (made them Keep the glass with the gnat on my table to ensure it wasn't just poured out and topped off) and changed my order to take my food home. Never again :-( unpleasant experience...lost my appetite. Ho perso completamente il mio appetito...che peccato :-( sembrava tutto sporco....

Aumm Aumm felt like home! We ate here every night but one of the six night vacation in AnaCapri! Eggplant Parmesan, Gnocchi Pomodoro, Veggie Calzone, spaghetti carbonara, chili focaccia, and of course their pizza with Green Olives or the Margherita pizza were all our Fav's! Please try the tiramisu for dessert!

    Delicious pizza!

I tried the Arrabbiata, spaghetti with clams, spaghetti with lemon garlic (€10 each). I was also informed that their sandwich breads are also made with sourdough which looked pretty good as well. And the house wine is one of my favorite wines. As a non wine drinker, this wine wasn't too heavy or "alcohol tasting" and had a little bit of a fermentation fizz. And the owner grows his own grapes right outside on the terrace. (€3 a glass or €9 bottle) The food takes a min to come out as they are cooking it fresh for you. The only thing I wouldn't suggest is the desserts. The tiramisu is a big skip and the pear and ricotta cheesecake was just okay. Good pear flavor but not a real cheesecake. Both were subpar. Stick with the wine! Random spot with a unassuming name, but it's worth going to if your in the Amalfi area.

Large bay windows, wooden tables and fixtures, a surrounding blackboard on both walls advertising the quality and surprising variety of hot sandwiches and appetizers on offer. Even the bathrooms, proportional in size to rest, are detailed and clean. I particularly like the potpourri tucked into bedroom slippers. Then of course there is the beer. We obviously needed dinner, and were not about to just have our breakfast provisions for dinner. After a quick google search, we saw Torna a Surriento Trattoria, with great reviews across all platforms, especially Yelp, was a 1 minute walk from us. I could see it from our driveway. This was the answer. We got there about 3 min before opening and there were already people waiting to be seated. Quite the good sign. After about 15 min from being seated, the place was almost full. The restaurant screams homey, in the best ways. It's bright and cheerful, with eclectic decorations that aren't over the top annoying or too busy. The tables are laid out well and spaced nicely. And it was clean. The wall decorations and other stuff around weren't covered in dust. I loved that. The value here is incredible. I can't say that about the prawn dish I had at the starred restaurant. Now was everything a hit?
