A Hamburger in Italy? Yes. We had been pizza and pasta'd out and thought why not a hamburger. We went with low expectations and were pleasantly surprised. It wasn't a traditional round hamburger but was instead on a Pannini roll. I took a suggestion on Yelp and ordered it "medium." I strongly encourage you to order "medium." It came with lettuce and tomato and a nice sauce. Since we are light eaters we split it and it was perfect for the two of us. We have not enjoyed fries in Europe because nothing replaces an Idaho Russet potato but these fries were very, very good. Bottom line, if you want a hamburger (sort of Italian style) this place is a good place to go. Don't hesitate in trying it out. read more

This was greatly service, friendly staff and a affordable eat. I'm only knocking a start because I wish they asked how we wanted the meat prepared. But also my fault for not telling them! I didn't realize it would be so rare, my burger was a little too rare for my taste so it was hard to handle. Small sandwich shop with some outdoor seating. The thing I really liked about this place is that they get a lot of their ingredients locally and ethically. They use free range eggs and chickens which is really great. Service was ok and they give you an order form to fill out with what meats, toppings, and sauces you like. What I didn't like is that every ingredient costs (even lettuce and tomato) so you really feel nickel and dimed. We got a hamburger with tomatoes, cheese and ketchup, a grilled chicken breast sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and tzaziki and some French fries. The sandwiches were just okay. I felt there was too much bread to meat ratio and the bread they serve is very crusty and hard. The fries were amazingly good. Almost the best I've ever had. Cooked just right and didn't taste oily at all. I'm not sure what that says about a place that serves burgers and the best thing on the menu is the fries. They are pretty busy but I wouldn't go back again for the sandwiches as it can really add up and wasn't too impressive. read more

After having been in Italy a week we were Getting sick of pasta and pizza, and were craving a burger. Found this little place on our way to the train station in Sorrento. The burgers are good sized and served on ciabatta bread, which is tasty, but crusty. Made eating a burger a little more difficult. We had the Cheeseburger and the n'hambu. Both were good and were just what we were craving. Not an American style burger, the meat has a texture more like meatloaf, but it was good none the less. Fries were really good. They were lightly coated and cooked perfectly. Nice and crispy. If you are in Sorrento and need a break from Italian food, give this place a try. read more

Delicious gigantic hamburgers with high-quality meat and amazing ingredients including fresh made bread. We got the 200 g double burger and it was Gigantic I eat a lot of hamburgers back home including In and Out and five guys and this is definitely One of the best with the highest quality ingredients in an Italian way. This is totally worth it and you should stop by here and eat hamburgers. It's a nice change from Pizza and pastas. Highly recommended. Five stars read more

If you tried north American burgers, their burgers are plain, uninteresting and far from others. Are they better than burger King/McDonald's, certainly from ingredients perspective but not from value perspective. Had N'hambu burger for €13 and chicken burger. Bread to meat/vegetable ratio is too large, overall just plain... Not sure why they have such high rating but now we know. You'll get better bang for your buck elsewhere, Imo. Try kebab ciampa instead. Try at your own risk. read more

Wow this was a pleasant and welcome change to all the pasta we had been eating during our trip to Italy. I hated being the typical American and eating a hamburger .. but after having pasta for lunch and dinner for 5 straight days , i needed a change. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical when we walked in and was mentally preparing myself to be disappointed but i was not! This place rocks! You get to choose what you want on your burger, from choice of meat, how you want it cooked and all the toppings. I ordered a medium beef burger with onions, lettuce, tomato and cheese. I forgot what my BF ordered but he loved his as well. We shared an order fries. My burger was perfectly cooked, ingredients tasted fresh, the burger was HUGE! and the bread it came on was yummy! My friends and I came to Sorrento for our winter break and a lot of the restaurants and stores are closed after 8 (or maybe because it's off season). This burger place is about a 10-15 minute walk from the place that we are staying in and it reminds me a lot of bareburger. When we entered, we were confused as to what to order since everything is in Italian. We were then each given a paper with options of what we want to put in our burgers. You essentially make your own burger, except all toppings including lettuce and tomato that usually comes with the burger in America are charged. My choice of an Italian burger with lettuce, tomato, chopped eggplant, Italian cheese and ketchup comes to a total of 8.50 euro. Yes, sauces here are not free like in the states so be ready to pay additional for them. The burger does not come in the buns found in the states, but it still tastes great. The bread that is used for this place is crunchy and chewy. The beef patty is well seasoned, tender and juicy. When we were there, two adorable children handed us sheets of paper to put on the table. I also like that the burgers are wrapped with paper, so people can still enjoy them without needing to clean and worry about their hands. read more
