While we paused, the skies opened up and it started to pour rain. The owner and employees were so friendly, inviting us in and helping to bring the baby stroller our group had with us into the store. We sat down, drank some liquor and spent time with them while we waiting out the downpour. We didn't have the pleasure of trying out the actual charcuterie, but we left with some souvenirs, including saffron, and some wonderful memories of our brief time there.

They picked up the phone, made a call, and a table was secured. We walked over, and were immediately seated. The waiter brought a box of multiple shapes of pasta, explained what each was called, and which sauces were appropriate with each. We ended up ordering caprese salad (the freshest buffalo mozzarella we ever had), one pasta, and the bread loaf filled with meatballs and ragu. We were in heaven, and the portions were tremendous. We left stuffed, satisfied, and paid about 45 euros for the meal. Highly recommended!

A vegetarian Ragu with seitan. This place is known for great ragu, which is meat based. But they offer a vegitarian version that was very good. I got a mushroom pasta dish that was very tatsy and filling. I could only eat half due to how filling it was. My wife got an Aperol spritz and I got an italian beer. If we were back in the area we'd likely stop back in to rty other options on their large menu.

I started looking around and saw that it won a Michelin award 2021. I've never eaten at "Michelin" award restaurant so I was intrigued.. Looked at the menu and saw items weren't too bad.. Also had tasting menu.. Luckily there was room for two so we were able to dine. So walk up the stairs to find small bar style dining place with chef and 2 others behind plexi glass cooking... Staff was very attentive and friendly. Ordered the tasting menu with like 5 items or something.. Did one without the wine since I don't really drink much.. 100 euro per person.. Well I saw the dishes being made and I thought Ii was going to leave hungry but I was over stuffed at the end.. So far as food goes.. Well I was purely disappointed. Most of the dishes was bland. I can't even remember the name of the dishes.. But they were all made with some fancy ingridients. Some with truffle shavings oooh. I guess my taste palate ain't made for these "fancy dishes" I was hoping to taste at least one dish that would blow me away but they didn't. Over all it was fun experience watching the chef make dishes right in front of you. Would I ever go here again nooooo. Maybe one day I'll try different "Michelin" award restaurant and I might have a different thought.. But definitely this one was disappointing and not worth the money. I gave it a 4 star foe the experience, friendly staff and their services.

As for the food, it's still the classic, good quality Neapolitan cuisine. I got the Mareggiata seafood pasta (€20), which had mussels, shrimp, and tomatoes in it. It was 3-4 star quality, as the sauce was a bit watery and the pasta didn't seem particularly fresh. I also got a babà (€6) for dessert, which is a classic Neapolitan dessert consisting of a sweet bread soaked in rum. It was decent and certainly soaked in a whole lot of rum - you could see it all seeping out if you pressed down on it. The staff are average friendliness and the service speed is pretty quick. Overall, while the food is just average quality, the nice modern environment really elevates the experience, so I am giving Sano Sano 4 stars.

Caprese was good, the tacos were okay - they were like wonton fried tortillas. The gnocchi with pistachio crème was sooo delicious, and my fiancée loved his spaghetti al pomodoro, simple and tasty. Would definitely recommend for lunch or dinner in Naples!
