Tandem is amazing. We went to the original location for lunch without a reservation, and they told…read moreus that they were booked up, but that they had a second location a few blocks away that could likely accommodate us. They picked up the phone, made a call, and a table was secured. We walked over, and were immediately seated. The waiter brought a box of multiple shapes of pasta, explained what each was called, and which sauces were appropriate with each. We ended up ordering caprese salad (the freshest buffalo mozzarella we ever had), one pasta, and the bread loaf filled with meatballs and ragu. We were in heaven, and the portions were tremendous. We left stuffed, satisfied, and paid about 45 euros for the meal. Highly recommended!

The staff was extremely friendly, taking the time to share their favorite options and recommendations with us. There are a couple of seats inside, but it's mostly set up for takeout orders. We ordered the meatball cuzzetiello. It's a great concept--after all, who doesn't love a meatball sandwich? However, the bread was a bit too hard, though that might have been because we visited later in the day. The meat was okay, but it definitely wasn't hot enough, and while the ragù was a bit sweeter than our personal preference, it was still decent. Overall, it could use a bit more seasoning for taste, as it felt somewhat bland. Again, it's a really cool concept, but I think they need to tweak the flavors a bit.

I looked over the menu. From the Drink section, I ordered a Vino 1 Bicchiere (1 Glass) for 2,00 €. The server gave me a choice of red or white. I chose white. From the Pizze section, I ordered a Calzone Ripieno for 5,00 €. It was (ITA) Pomodoro, mozzarella, formaggio, pepe, ricotta, salame, prosciutto, olio, basilico and (ENG) Tomato, mozzarella, cheese, peper, ricotta, salami, ham, oil, basil and (ESP) Tomate, mozzarella, queso, pimiento, ricotta, salami, jamón, aceite, albahaca. The Servizio al Tavolo-Table Service was 1,00 €. The Vino was smooth. I enjoyed it throughout my visit. The Calzone Ripieno came out fast. I was excited to try it with how great it looked. The first bite was excellent. Every bite after until it was gone was also excellent. I'm glad I chose that item. The service was spotless. I didn't have any issues. Overall, I had a pleasant experience. I would definitely go again if I'm in the area. Date of visit: 24/03/25

As for the food, it's still the classic, good quality Neapolitan cuisine. I got the Mareggiata seafood pasta (€20), which had mussels, shrimp, and tomatoes in it. It was 3-4 star quality, as the sauce was a bit watery and the pasta didn't seem particularly fresh. I also got a babà (€6) for dessert, which is a classic Neapolitan dessert consisting of a sweet bread soaked in rum. It was decent and certainly soaked in a whole lot of rum - you could see it all seeping out if you pressed down on it. The staff are average friendliness and the service speed is pretty quick. Overall, while the food is just average quality, the nice modern environment really elevates the experience, so I am giving Sano Sano 4 stars.

Everything in Italy is healthy and clean, but this restaurant specifically focuses on healthy, clean, and varied ingredients. It was one of the only restaurants we ate at that had so many options and so many types of food. For appetizers, we had the caprese and the salmon tacos. Caprese was good, the tacos were okay - they were like wonton fried tortillas. The gnocchi with pistachio crème was sooo delicious, and my fiancée loved his spaghetti al pomodoro, simple and tasty. Would definitely recommend for lunch or dinner in Naples!
