Unlike most other restaurants, Sano Sano actually has a very modern environment with a spacious interior and some aesthetic lighting. It's a very clean and pleasant dining area.
As for the food, it's still the classic, good quality Neapolitan cuisine. I got the Mareggiata seafood pasta (€20), which had mussels, shrimp, and tomatoes in it. It was 3-4 star quality, as the sauce was a bit watery and the pasta didn't seem particularly fresh.
I also got a babà (€6) for dessert, which is a classic Neapolitan dessert consisting of a sweet bread soaked in rum. It was decent and certainly soaked in a whole lot of rum - you could see it all seeping out if you pressed down on it.
The staff are average friendliness and the service speed is pretty quick.
Overall, while the food is just average quality, the nice modern environment really elevates the experience, so I am giving Sano Sano 4 stars. read more
