This place was PACKED when we arrived. They were not doing take-out at the time, but we wanted to dine in anyway. After getting through the language barrier we were able to secure a table that was down stairs. The service and food was awesome. There's a restroom here, but it's upstairs. My wife ordered the steamed seafood, and I ordered the fried seafood. Definitely a place that's worth checking out. read more

I have to say this is one of my better dining experiences. No photos because I forgot my phone. It's one of the few places where they seem Actually happy to have customers. Had a pizza and seafood pasta. Not full five stars because the mixed seafood only had mussels and clams, but it was very tasty and I nicely done. they brought everything all at the same time, which was a bit overwhelming on the table in the eyes. Nothing but good things to say about this place. We were seated the instant we got here and the server waited the perfect amount of time before coming over to take our order. The Pizza came out and wow, it was spectacular. So fresh, so fluffy and full of the right kind of flavors that made this pizza so savory. Id also like to note how the owners, who were sitting next to us were just cool guys and introduced me to mr.miami (not real name) who was a great kid with a even better attitude towards the people he meets, I wish him the best. Located almost directly across from the National Museum, Lombardi 1892 isn't a fancy venue; it's a down-to-earth spot with excellent service and really good pizzas. Ordered the fried anchovies, spaghetti lombardi, and seafood risotto. Everything was delicious but the portions were on the smaller side. This was only place we encountered rude service. Servers were rude, didn't check in on us at all, and just dropped the check at our table. They seemed to be chatty with non-foreigners though. Service is included and they charge €1.50/person. Definitely not kid friendly. The pizza chefs were sweet, on the other hand. The pizza here is delicious and pretty comparable to da Michele if you want more pizza options than just Margherita or Marinara. The dough and tomato sauce were perfect. Other dishes we saw looked amazing as well but we were in for the pizza and we were not disappointed. read more

Yes!! I've been in Italy for nearly a week and this was the first meal I really liked. We kept being disappointed by tourists traps that sell terrible food, but this place was awesome. My boyfriend is lactose intolerant, and they were very accommodating to make him a pizza with no cheese. I had pizza with cheese - and it was as good as all the reviews said it was! I have had 4 different vera pizza's in Napoli in the past 3 days, all from well reviewed places. I can definitely say that while all were good, Lombardi was the best. I liked this pizza much better than another location highly recommended (see my reviews). We are from WI, a dairy state in the USA, so it takes a bit for me to recommend a pizza joint. One of the best pizzas we had in Naples. We tried two different kinds: I had pistacchio, fennel sausage and fior di latte, while my fiancee had prosciutto, ricotta, arugola and sundried tomatoes. It was nice to finally try some more elabarote recipes after seeing so much of the same in other pizzerias. The dough was really nice, with a nice wood fire taste, and the toppings were really good as well, although there could have been a little bit more of everything. Total hidden gem. We stumbled over here and just loved, loved the food. We had the olive oil of champions. Seriously, this was so good! The meal was also sensational. We got two pasta dishes, a ravioli and a gnocchi, and I'm drooling just thinking about it. The house red wine was excellent, the service was exceptional, and it was filled with local diners. I don't really write Yelp reviews but I had such a bad experience that I thought I needed to write something. The food is good but beware of the unwanted upsell. I ordered a Margherita and was asked "normal cheese or bufala?" I recognized the upsell and said normal cheese twice. I was still charged for the more expensive pizza, which cost 7.50 euros instead of 4.95 euros. When I asked the waiter, he was more angry than I was. It was my third and last time there. read more
