The place is okay and the area is nice. Service was okay. The server recommended a few items to us for appetizers. I thought it was a bit too muxh to order 2 of each of the three appetizers for 6 people but I thought maybe the portions were small. They werent! Overall Food & Vibe 5/10

Very welcoming staff wonderful experience. The Margarita pizza was very fresh. Welcoming spot to take a break. Tables and canopies streetside were a great break from the long walk we were taking.

Their food was delicious for sure. It just took a while! Worthy of more like 3.5 stars ***×. Their salsiccia e friarelli pizza was awesome! Even the other half of leftovers was so tasty. This might be a new addiction. Their location is perfect for cruise ship passengers hanging around the area for a few hours to eat, shop, explore or what have they. A poster menu is visible before the entrance. This to me works as an attraction factor. Outdoor and indoor seating are available. Their outdoor seating even extends across the street! Summer evenings are nice and lively outdoors. It's a Neapolitan lifestyle. It's cool to see even as a passerby. Despite the somewhat slow service, I'm still recommending this place for their cibo saporito!

Absolutely amazing! I've never had Pizza this good before. Fresh, hot, big, extremely affordable, and delicious! Our pizza maker was Raphaël (Hope I spelled that correctly) He was absolutely wonderful, courteous, explained the process and was very kind. Definitely make sure you stop here if you want the best pizza in Naples

We stopped for pizza and a beer! The best tasting pizza I've had ever. It's touristy but a few locals to! Family owned with pride of ownership. The brothers are cute! Italian men are fun to watch very affectionate to their friends. So fun! Great people watching spot! Enjoy!!!

So came here accidentally as our hotel recommended Trattoria Medina but there are 3 in immediate proximity of each other (apparently originality is not a thing here) and I think the recommendation was for the one across the street. We ended up at the southeast one closest to the metro stop. Positives: We we're looking for a lighter app so the waiter offered to make the fried calamari grilled instead, and they did a nice job of it; the seafood pasta was al dente and fine; the requested bread was warm Negatives: The biggest offense was the pizza- first of all the margarita on their menu had eggplant on it, should have been the first sign that something was amiss, so instead we ordered the caprese that that sounded like a margarita. I'll take responsibility for this which is why the rating isn't lower, but it was effectively a sauceless cheese heavy pie- not what I wanted. However, a definite strike against them for a crust that wasn't cooked through. Overall not the last meal in Napoli I was looking for...

The food was quite tasty - we all had a different style pizza. It was a little unfortunate that we could not get different ingredients, and/or half and half i.e. half cheese, half sausage on one pizza, as they were pretty large sizes for one person. But respecting the culture, I found that this was not common in other restaurants as well. The atmosphere was pretty nice, it was a warm and lovely day, and we sat outside on the patio. the ambiance was pleasant. Surprisingly , we noticed no one taking any food away with them (no to go bag), despite the size of the pizza, I ate pretty much all of it, the crust was delicious and light, and I didn't feel overstaffed or bloated. It was delicious. Afterwards we walked a little across the street and noticed there was another restaurant with the same name. I was not aware there were two locations, I assume same owner- but all in all we had a good experience. And would go again if ever in the area again.

Lunch outside on a cool November afternoon was very pleasant. The menu is extensive, and this restaurant is huge. Everyone told us to eat pizza in Naples, so we tried some selections available at this location. First up was the first item on their pizza menu. It is a pizza crust with no sauce and no cheese, just fresh cut tomatoes on dough. Not at all like a pizza. More like a bruschetta. Next was pizza diavolo. A lot of pizza has been consumed in Italy, and this one was just OK. Third is the four cheese. Most four cheese pizzas I've had in Italy include some sort of blue cheese, and no sauce. This one had a very strong taste of gorgonzola and lots of cheese overall. This restaurant did not leave either a good or bad impression. The food was average, the service was ok and it is located close to Castle Nuovo, the Royal Palace of Naples and Giardion del Molosiglio making it convenient if you are in the area.

If I'm not going for pizza, this is one of my favorite places in Naples for dinner. It's truly a cut above the rest. Granted the via Medina around here is terribly seedy (even for Naples), sitting down under the terrace amongst the surrounding Italian babble for a long leisurely summer-night dinner is one of life's purest pleasures. The food is simple and delicious, bringing out the taste of what's featured. Seafood dishes are the best for entrées, but make sure to grab a primi or some "sfizi" first or you'll go home hungry... I should add that I went here on the recommendation of a friend who is also a Naples native!

Every slice was flavorful, well balanced, and unmistakably Neapolitan, with each one bringing something a little different to the table. We decided to come here for dinner and were craving a good seafood pasta. They also had their famous Seafood Risotto for two and we could decide, so we shared the seafood pasta as a starter and the Risotto for two for our entree. Service was great and friendly and our pasta was to die for! Spaghetti cooked perfectly al dente mixed with mussels and eggplant topped with parmigiano reggiano. Simple, straightforward, and super tasty. The vibe is awesome with outdoor dining and people watching going on, people are just in the moment of things and conversations the night away, NOT on their phones. I was expecting a pot of risotto to come to our table to split, but we were pleasantly surprised and super pumped that two full sized plates were delivered, fully loaded with clams, prawns and langoustines and a perfectly done risotto on the bottom. For 28 euros?(about $33 usd) You definitely won't get even ONE plate for that price in America! Needless to say, we were stuffed by the end of our meal and decided to walk it off in the bustling streets before seeking out dessert options.
