My friends had been here before and said it was weirdly empty when they came, and it was the same this time. Friday night and it was only us and 1 other table. The inside is not what I expected, it has high ceilings and is a much larger space than I would've thought; it almost feels more like an event space than a restaurant. The ambiance was lacking, there was no chatter from others dining around us and I don't recall any music playing to fill the space either. We only saw one person working the entire time and the service was not as good as it should've been for only having 2 tables. He was fairly attentive to our needs but then disappeared at the end of the meal, we had to get up to ask for our bill. The menu is small and the items oddly priced. A pizza with a large serving size was $18 while a tiny side salad was $10. We shared a bottle of Pinot Noir and we all loved it! Some glasses of wine were over $15 and it made much more sense to just get a bottle to share. We all split the crab and artichoke appetizer which was delicious! I wish it was a little bigger and served with more crackers. My husband got the meat lovers pizza and thought it was good but nothing special, a tough category in a city with countless great pizza options. I got the pasta bolognese, it was pretty small for a pasta dish but only $16 so not too surprising. The pasta tasted fresh and there was a lot of meat in the sauce which I liked. The meal did not fill me up, so I was thankful my husband had such a big pizza. The food itself is good, but it seems like this place is lacking in a few areas and needs to be tied together for a more cohesive dining experience.

The fun thing is the club wasn't very crowed for a Friday but I had to think it was because of the 4th of July weekend that's just before. The best is we got excellent service. Connie and Bob brought Joe's favorite Cabernet which is Joseph Phelps. We actually went there on our wedding day so that is how we found this incredible winery. The also brought us a box of Dorinda's (my absolute fav) Now the food: I ordered the filet and it was amazing. On first cut it looked like it wasn't medium rare but second cut it definitely was. Connie ordered the pasta dish because she is Veg. I forgot when I picked this place but I think most places now have a choice for vegetarians. Bob ordered the scallops with risotto and he said it was divine. Joe ordered the back ribs and they were excellent! The served us a crème brûlée and I got profiteroles. What a wonderful time we had since we had some major gossip to catch up on about the new neighbors! The 3 other times I have been here were all equally as great! One funny thing; it's the first time I ever left a 40% tip ;)

The restaurant and bar area are very load. The bartender was friendly and immediately took my order. I ordered the Ft Worth 14oz ribeye with a garden salad and a baked potato. The garden salad arrived quickly, was medium in size and was your typical salad. The steak and potato arrived right after I finished my salad. I ordered the steak medium rare but it was medium. The steak was a good size, seasoned, flavorful and quite juicy. The potato was an average size with sour cream, bacon and cheddar cheese. It seemed a little dry and not flaky. Overall the experience was good and I will return by myself but not with a group.

Hello, I'm reaching…read moreout regarding an extremely disappointing experience my wife and I had at Texas Roadhouse tonight. When we arrived, the restaurant was packed and we waited about an hour for a table. I want to be very clear: the hour wait is not my complaint. We could see that the restaurant was busy, we chose to wait, and we completely understood. Unfortunately, once we were seated, the experience continued to go downhill. We waited quite a while just to get our drinks, and when it was time to order, I ordered the 23 oz. porterhouse medium. When our meals finally arrived, my steak wasn't slightly overcooked--it was burned and well past well-done. I got our waitress's attention, and she took it back to have it corrected. I then waited approximately 30 more minutes for another steak. During that time, my wife's meal sat in front of her getting cold because she was trying to wait so we could actually have dinner together. When my replacement steak finally arrived, it was rare. At that point, I had received the same steak ordered medium twice--first severely overcooked and then severely undercooked. What was particularly frustrating was the manager's response. I was told that they "don't cut this cut in-house." I honestly don't understand what that had to do with the problem. I wasn't complaining about how the steak was cut. I was complaining because a steakhouse had been unable to cook a steak to medium after two attempts. After everything that had already happened, I asked about receiving a discount. We then waited approximately another 30 minutes for someone to come back and address that. Our check was around $90, and ultimately only $20 was taken off. I understand restaurants get busy. I understand kitchens get backed up. I also understand that mistakes happen. Had my steak come out incorrectly once and been promptly corrected, I probably wouldn't be writing this. But this was mistake after mistake, followed by waiting after waiting. By the end of the evening, my wife had a cold dinner, I never received the properly cooked porterhouse I ordered, and we still paid approximately $70. For a restaurant whose specialty is steak, I expected much better--not necessarily perfection, but certainly better handling of the situation when things went wrong. I'm asking Texas Roadhouse to review what happened and determine whether the way this was handled meets the level of service you expect your guests to receive. Thank you for taking the time to read about our experience. I would appreciate hearing from someone regarding this.

I have now tried the Thanksgiving sandwich, a burrito of some kind, the Cobb salad, the turkey pesto sandwich a burger and yesterday a chicken taco salad. Ok, seriously, how can a taco salad not be good, right??? NO FLAVOR, and so skimpy on anything that might have made it good, it was ridiculous. HUGE amount of lettuce (because lettuce is cheap) then a dry and COMPLETELY flavorless chicken breast, a hand full of of black beans, a tablespoon sized portion of Mozzarella cheese (mozzarella? On a taco salad???) a tablespoon sized dollop of sour cream, a wimpy sprinkle of tortilla strips and some watery, very basic salsa (and not enough of that, either). I added a side of avocado which was maybe a quarter of one for $2.25 (so avocados cost $9 apiece, apparently). Anyway, once I ate what should have been the good stuff, there was sooooo much lettuce remaining. Bleh. I left hungry. That salad was $26 dollars for a tasteless bowl of lettuce. . Of the 5 other people with me, only one liked what she got, and she was the one who picked where we would eat. Never, ever again. Clean, organic food can still have flavor!!!!!
