First time experience was on a weekday morning. There was no wait. Very toddler friendly service; responsive to dining out with kids. Bright atmosphere with seating in a more private nook in the back. (I know this because they let the toddler in the party choose the table, so we took a tour). The food lacked nothing. Great taste prepared as requested. I don't usually care for shredded potatoes, but the onions did it for me. I ate almost all of it! The toddler had no complaints too. Well done on the music. Oldies but goodies that added to the vibe!

My buddy and I try to meet quarterly for brunch to catch up on each other's current events. Sunday we met at Daisy's. We arrived at 8:30 and were surprised that it was empty. We were promptly seated and our orders were taken. The food was delicious and the special requests were honored. I will be back with more friends and family because it's just that good!

This Grill is not made equal to the rest of them... It's a hidden gem on a very busy road for sure. When you find the parking lot you are here. The Grill is on the first floor only so it sits on the bottom of the building. Now that I got that out of the way and you found the entrance lets get to business.... I went for a hungry man's breakfast: steak, eggs, and potatoes... oh yeah, silver dollar pancakes too! Even though this was a steak on the thin side believe me it tasted phenomenal. The eggs were cooked perfectly and not over done or burnt. The potatoes were superb... not dry and you can taste the freshness. The cappuccino- well, picture says a thousand words and not one of those thousand words are bad... made just perfect! The dining area is simple, but the reserved seating has that comfy and exquisite feel. They can hold a party of around 40-50 people if you choose to have something intimate. They tend to do a vast majority of their business on deliveries. So if you live in the area and want that breakfast in bed do not hesitate to order in. They have their own delivery driver and of course you can do your usual delivery options. Check out their website and go from there. The menu here has a lot to offer which makes it a place to visit over and over again. I for sure can't wait to come back. FYI: The entrance is located on a side street in the back of the building, underneath the busy road.

I stopped here for a quick breakfast. The interior is lined with really cute booths and photos of flowers. The food came out quickly and was cooked to perfection. The drinks are bottled Tropicana. They do have a small parking lot. I can't wait to go back!

It was the 1st time I came to Daisy's Grill and was impressed, the atmosphere is so cute! Music was 50's/60's music in the background. When our breakfast arrived, it was delicious. Everything we touched was so tasty and had a lightness to it that really showcased the essence of the food. Will definitely come back again!

Have passed Daisy's Grill a million times and finally got to experience it. It's nestled in the Old River Road section of Edgewater and tricky to access, so keep a close eye on your GPS directions. I enjoyed every aspect of this eatery. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and made our breakfast enjoyable. Make sure that you start with the FRESH SQUEEZED orange juice. It is refreshing, has the perfect consistency of pulp, and came with a slice of an orange, on the rim of the mason jar. Both of the coffees that we ordered were on point. The cappuccino was delicious and was served in a cool "daisy" adorned cup. Our main course selections were just as good. The omelets were perfectly made and the home fries were shredded so nicely. The restaurant is larger than I expected, it is decorated with very nice wall art, and was clean. You will, most definitely, enjoy your meal, here. Enjoy the good service and I'm sure you'll return for more.

Chicken Gyro delivered to work! Just look at that chicken - it's stuffed! I'm hungry just looking at it.

So funny story! I've never actually eaten inside of Daisy's, but I've ordered from here several times. In fact, I'm a teacher, and Daisy's is the #1 place that we order from on Fridays. The food is always consistent, fresh, and reasonably priced. Sometimes, our orders include upwards of 10+ meals, but Daisy's always delivers on time, never forgets anything, and the food is just delicious. (We try to order around 10:30am for a 12pm lunch, giving them enough time to prepare the meal and deliver it. Don't be that guy who orders at 11:45 and expects the food in 15 minutes. Sheesh!) Usually, when a menu is as expansive as Daisy's, it's a warning sign to stay away. But honestly, out of all the times that I've ordered at Daisy's, and out of all the different items that I've ordered, they've all been excellent. Particularly, their grilled chicken is actual grilled chicken with char marks and everything. Top stars for me are: - Any of the breakfast foods, including pancakes, egg sandwiches, and omelettes - Wraps, especially the Daisy's wrap, but most of them are a solid choice -Burgers -Chicken Gyro -Their onion rings - Unanimously, their Greek Salad is the most ordered item at my school. It's huge, and like I mentioned, the chicken is always fresh. If there is ever an issue, we give them a call, and the employees are so kind and accommodating. It's on my to-do list to go there and actually order some food. If you're considering going here, give Daisy's a try!

We stumbled upon this place during Covid and right before the snow storm. All other pancake joints were packed. I'm so glad we did .... what a Nice surprise! I'm a pancake snob and I'm always trying new places. Daisy's did not disappoint. I ordered the fresh blueberry pancakes and spinach omelette w fries. It's all came out Hot and fresh! The pancakes were delicious! I could eat them with plain or with a small amount of syrup. That goes to show how tasty they are. The spinach omelette was good and the fries were even better! The restaurant was clean with sanitizer on each table. The menu has a little bit of everything. Prices were fair. Somewhat like a diner. There was No wait on a Sunday which concerned me at first but the food was really Good! I would recommend Daisy's and will return again.

Situated just off river road behind the metropolitan building, this is a 'hidden' gem!! Great spot with a wide selection of delicious, home made food! They also provide delivery to the nearby apartments & condos! Lovey staff that always provide great, friendly service. Today Luisa was lovely! Food is fresh and daily priced. They offer lots of types of food for breakfast, lunch & dinner as well as an array of beverage choices that can also be packed up for delivery. Clean, cozy dining space with great music and clean restrooms. One of my favorite local choices!

Daisy wrap with chipotle sauce instead of ranch and sweet potato Fries

Saw this place on Yelp and decided to try it. It a cute little place off to the left. They currently have delivery and take out but no dine in seating because of covid. It is super clean inside and lots of hand sanitizers available. Even though the phones and online orders were busy, the staff was super friendly and answered my questions when I was deciding between the daisy panini or daisy wrap. I ended up getting the daisy wrap with chipotle sauce instead of ranch and it is sooooo good! Keep in mind they have a $10 minimum for card if ordering inside.

    Daisy's Panini

I loved this spot ! My new little fav spot. I came for breakfast with the fam right when they opened for the day. The prices are fair for the large portions you're getting. I had the delicious and toasty daisy panini with sweet potato fries ($1.50 more) but you can get it with french fries or rice. The daisy panini was big and so good. It came in sliced white bread that was toasty and buttery. The cheese was melted, the avocado was in perfect slices & the chicken was just the right amount and not overpowering like in other grilled chicken sandwiches. to finish it off, that amazing sauce was everything ... keep in mind it is a bit spicy. I also had the Orange + carrot juice and this was the only thing I wasn't such a big fan of... I felt like you tasted the carrot way more than the orange juice and when I have this juice, the most important thing for me is to taste both. Now let's talk about their amazing amazing sweet potato fries... WOW. I love sweet potato fries and what I'm always looking for is some good sweet potato fries. these were fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside and not salty or soggy at all. they were honestly just right. We also tried their home fries (HIGHLY RECOMMEND). So good, soft, yet crunchy. A friend had ordered the chicken wings and those were pretty good too. SUPER super crunchy, warm and good on the inside. I honestly would love to come back and have these. Overall a wonderful experience, I love the place, the staff is so sweet, helpful & attentive. Please come here, you won't regret it ! COVID TIP: there is parking in the front, seats are already pretty far apart, the staff wears masks at all time, they also have switched to plastic cups to serve water, all other cups are their regular( they offer straws)

Western Omelet with sweet potato fries

Finally got to try this restaurant in all these years. It looked small outside but there are plenty of small tables inside as the restaurant is long. Not good for big parties though as most tables are booths or tables for two or for maximum of 4 people. We had a group of five and we managed to add a chair to the end of the table. It's your typical diner food. Western omelette: pretty standard and was good. I asked for sweet potato fries to replace the home fries and it cost $2 more. Wish we were told. Save the $2 as the home fries was actually very crunchy and flavorful. Pancakes and French toast were good too. My boyfriend liked his chipotle chicken wrap with home fries. We also got a steak with two eggs along with sweet potato fries instead of home fries (again got charged $2). Food was actually better than some other diners. I would come back again but probably with a smaller group.

He mentioned to me that he knows a place in the neighborhood that has really good burgers. I usually go to my familiar spots, but I figured the way he was talking this place up for their burgers, I might as well give it a shot. Why not right? So we enter "Nobody Told Me", which is a new venue in the neighborhood, at least to me. It was cool. We sat at the bar. I asked for a menu and the Bartender just pointed to the menu that's on the wall. So I made my selection of Burger. I'm honestly probably a boring Burger person because for the most part I just like meat, cheese and bun. I mean, a nice fried egg over easy doesn't hurt. I've also done that with some mac & cheese, and it was incredibly delicious but also, very gluttonous to say the least. lol. In any case, I ordered my burger. Meat, cheese, and bun. I think it was a double Patti Smashburger maybe? And it came with some fries. The burger was good. It was actually better than what I expected. It was juicy without being all bloody and had flavor. It was also a pretty good size.. I mean I couldn't finish it.. I don't eat huge portions or meals.. The fries were good too. I might request a bit more crisp on the fries if I go back. That's just me.. But they were good nonetheless. Burger and fries also had a bit of a lite oniony flavor to them.. I guess to add some flavor.. As far as the vibe in the spot, it was cool. Room was dim as it was day time outside so it was chill. Seemed to be a pretty young crowd of new people who have recently moved in the neighborhood. Who knows? I've only lived here for 50 years.. but it was a cool experience.. They had some cool music playing lightly so you can carry a convo.. In any case, if you are looking for a pretty good burger, I'd give this place a try.. And there you go! Have a great one yall! -Ray

Lady Blue has saved me twice now, when needing to grab dinner before a Broadway show. Yesterday (Sat) we got last minute tickets to an 8pm show and had to quickly find a place for dinner. Many of the spots in the Theater District were already booked from 5:30-7:30. Some were just way overpriced. I had been to Lady Blue before and liked it, and they had 6pm availability. When we arrived, it was lively but not unbearably crowded. The place is small with a few booths, but surprisingly the hostess brought the two of us to a full booth. It felt nice and luxurious! And we did not have to wait or fight for the table at all. Our waitress was very attentive, checking on us multiple times. As others have mentioned, this place is much more than a cocktail bar - they serve a wide variety of American food (flatbreads, burgers/sandwiches, entrees) - however the cocktails are fun and interesting too. My friend got the Magic Mermaid and I got the Chai Fashioned cocktail. Hers was so fun - blue in a fishbowl looking glass with a tail fin sticking out. Mine was a unique take on the typical Old Fashioned filled with spices. Next we got bacon-wrapped dates to start - absolutely delicious. Perfect mix of sweet and savory flavors of bacon, blue cheese, and date. For mains, we both got the Lady B Burger, which was a step up from the regular burger - we were able to order as we liked it (I got the bacon on the side). It also comes with a salad but you can pay extra for fries or tots. I got truffle fries, which hit the spot. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed - the music was kind of a remix of 70s hits and newer stuff. We were able to eat at comfortable pace, pay, and leave with plenty of time before our show. I will definitely be back!

We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. The shepherd's pie is insanely salty and it's very off-putting. It was inedible. I was looking forward to having it but I would not in good faith recommend this to anyone. The buttermilk tenders is supposed to come with pickled shallots and marinated green beans. We didn't get the pickled shallots or the marinated green beans, which was a shame. The chicken tenders by themselves didn't have much flavor. It also is unfortunate paying $17 for what was considered a small plate and just getting the chicken tenders. The Asian-sesame wings were okay. Also, didn't have much flavor and weren't that impressive. There was also still hair on some of the pieces of chicken, so the chicken could have been cleaned better. They have fries and hand cut fries. The regular fries were soggy. Should have went with the hand cut fries. The tater tots were okay. I was told that the chicken sandwich was good. It came with a little side of rustic chips. I would not come back for the food but I would possibly go back to try a drink if I was in the area. The drink menu looked pretty good.

The restaurant has an interesting history. Even though the original opened in Cresskill, NJ, it unfortunately has permanently closed. However, not only is the Edgewater location amazing, but it had the guts to open during COVID (2022), survived, and is succeeding. The restaurant is beautiful inside and outside. Their decorations are tasteful, the presentation of the food is award winning, and the service is stellar. I started with a Mocha Cappuccino and it was so good. Served in a large mug, an airy/creamy top, and had the perfect amount of mocha happiness throughout. Before the meal even started, we were graciously given Za'atar (a popular Middle Eastern spice blend with an earthy, tangy, and nutty flavor, toasted sesame seeds, and sumac, with salt). It was crunchy, drizzled with oil, and I enjoyed how each thin pita bite made the spices explode all over the table. The entrees were: Strawberry French Toast. The next was the Falafel Platter (chickpeas and fava bean balls, served with tahini sauce, pickles, turnips, tomato, and mint). The last selection was the Avocado Toast (Citrus cured salmon over multigrain bread, tomatoes, onions, capers & citrus vinaigrette). Not only were all of these dishes beautifully presented, but all were filling, as well. My Avocado Toast kept me full for the rest of the day and the salmon was enjoyably salty, thin, and delicious. I noticed a dessert in their display case and ordered it. The dessert was the Riz Bil Ashta (Lebanese rice cream, infused with orange blossom water, blended with milk and cheese, and topped with crushed pistachios). This dessert tasted like a regal custard and the pistachios added an enjoyable texture that makes it recommended. Of course, I had to cap the meal with a Mocchiato. This amazing beverage followed the rest of the meal..... delicious, eyes closed good, and every sip was full-flavored. Thank you, Madison Café and Grill, for presenting a memorable meal and I wish you continued success.
