Junko-san was very nice today, though. As I approached the counter, she was on the phone patiently and lengthily explaining to the customer how they are out of masks and was even calming the caller down by suggesting ways to combat virus contraction. She was even explaining instructions given by CDC, how they could also try Walgreens, etc., all in friendly, caring manner as if she was talking to a friend. She finally saw me and told them a customer was waiting. So, two big thumbs up from me for her. She then took care of me just fine and other customers. All Daisos have been good stores for me. The only thing I would say is make sure you want the items you're buying because there's no refund or exchanges! read more

Lots of parking and the store is fairly big - it used to be a Joann's. Need to spend $10 to use a card. No refunds. My Daiso shopping typically consists of (1) Things I would buy at a dollar store but Daiso has a better version/quality, e.g. ceramic dinnerware, dish brushes, pens, kitchen (2) Things I didn't know existed and have no need for, but still bought, e.g. ornamental erasers, stationery and gift wraps, candy read more

Great place to get useful things for cheap. This location is better than the Temple City one because there is so much parking available. Sometimes they have LED light bulbs (that go in your ceiling fixtures) and they are really inexpensive. One of my favorite items is their nose strips - works great and much cheaper than the brand names at the typical drug store. read more

They have less items than the Atlantic plaza daiso which is much bigger but still its a good location. Lots and lots of parking and its in the same plaza as la fitness, pavillions, burlington coat factory, starbucks, mokkoji etc. Everything is clean. Most items are 1 something but there are several items like baking tins that cost $5+ Overall good daiso because they have so many things for cheap from gardening tools to all your cooking essentials, gift-wrap, snacks, make-up, stationary. Lots of items for cheap!!! read more

DON'T GO TO ARCADIA DAISO!!! GO TO OTHER DAISO. We bought a 4-small-bottle drink pack today which has a label of $1.00. They charged us $1.50 with CRV of 5 cents. When we went back, the cashier was apologetic but the manager was reprimanding him for charging only 5 cents and not 20 cents CRV, instead of focusing on how they had overcharged 50 cents over the labeled price. She then proceeds to charge me 15 cents more before refunding the extra 50 cents overcharge. I hope she goes to bed feeling good how successfully she had cheated her customers, willing to lose a whole bunch of customers over 15 cents.[ And she only refunded me 30 cents instead of 35 cents.] read more

I've always enjoyed driving out here to this location as it's always well stocked and seems peaceful/not crowded like most Daisos. The parking lot is also very convenient with lots of spaces. Unfortunately yesterday I had a bad experience 7/2/19 with one of the cashiers - her name was Catherine (asian woman) who seemed to hate her job - didn't even smile nor say hello and even just shoved me the receipt "Here's your receipt" without saying thank you. Not sure if she didn't like me or everyone else around her. Bad customer service. The other male employees who work there have been just the opposite and helpful. read more

Wonderful Daiso I want to buy everything. This Daiso is much larger than the Daiso located on the corner of Temple city and Rosemead. They have the typical variety of household cleaning supplies and small knick knacks. read more

Come to Daiso!!! YO!! This place has it all!!! School supplies, house decor, kitchen ware, snacks, beauty accessories, socks and so much more prices start at $1.50 this month they got Halloween decor for supper cheap COME TO DAISO!!! YO!!! read more

They have a good selection but I was overcharged by $2. They had a promotion on soda which does 2 for $2. I bought 2, later when I checked the receipt the cashier scanned it as 4, so I was charged an extra $2, so make sure to check your receipts. Also they don't take American Express. read more

Okay, this Daiso is really hard to find. The street sign is HUGE, but the entrance is not within sight. It's on the 2nd floor of the parking lot, perched on the roof. [UPDATE] Even though it seems untrue, there is in fact more than one way to get there. Way #1: Enter the underground parking lot for the whole center. If you can't find it, circle the block - it's under one of the stores. Find one of the stairwells in the lot. Go up the stairwell, the Daiso is right there with one other store. There are no signs in the lot to tell you this. Way #2: Circle the block and you will see a ramp on street level that leads up to the 2nd floor of the garage. You will slightly be able to see the "Daiso" storefront lit sign up above. You'd think the stores all have a connection to each other (doors or stairs) but they don't. Other than that it's a typical Daiso. The back-most room is full of organizational boxes, very useful. Everything is cute and cheap and they play hyper-happy sounding jpop all day. Oh, and for people new to Daiso, you can't return anything. So yeah, not the most convenient or visible Daiso I've been to, but it satisfies my needs. read more

Ummm, what's not to love?! They have some of the cutest and cheapest finds of interesting odds and ends. My daughter and I love coming here. Highly recommend! read more

I like this place. They have cheap stuff with decent quality. But you gotta know what you're looking for at this place. All sales are final, like everybody else mentioned. Inside gets really cold during the summer time. read more

Love this store and all the items they carry. It's hard to not want to buy the same 1 item in 4 different colors just because they have them available... I love picking up stationary items here, as I find that the pens are of good quality and the ink looks very nice. I also like the variety of cooking/food serving items- as for $1.50, some of these dishes and bowls are a real steal! read more

This place is so much fun to go to! So many random cute things that I don't need to buy, but I do anyways lol. The employees are quiet helpful as well. This particular employee who was blonde who helped me get my nose strips. Very helpful! read more

I mean. i love Daiso. like who doesn't. Stuff I'd always love to splurge on: all kinds of Japanese culinary stuff (onigiri mold, wooden spoon, bowls, etc_) And CONTAINERS are must-buy. read more

The store is located in an obscure place on the upper level. There is simply no sign at all on the street-level parking lot directing people to there. I ended up walking into the Burlington store, taking the escalator to the 2nd floor, walked out the store and then found Daiso at the left hand side. I don't understand why the store owner and the mall owner cannot work together to provide better signage. read more

super close to my place,It is so affordable to buy small stuff.Just feel my money has more value .

Like everyone else, I love Daiso. I tell people this is the store that sell you the solution for a problem you didn't know you had. I never go in thinking I need X so I'm here to get X, but I always come out with a bunch of stuff still. The things here are of pretty good quality. I've even braved up and am trying their cosmetics. So far, I find that I actually prefer Daiso's eyebrow liner to Mac's, which is saying a lot. Their lip gloss leaves nothing to be desired though. read more

Such a cute store! A friend had told me about this place and I was eager to check it out, and I'm glad I did! They had knick-knacks of all sorts, school supplies, home needs, anything. Plus, they were all very nice and friendly! I'm definitely going back! read more

Cute little nik nak store some things are over priced. But you can kind some good stuff here.

This new Daiso location is on the 2nd floor of Burlington. It's bright and spacious like the other ones with a ton of small and big finds. The $1.50 dollar tag doesn't apply to everything however, some bigger items are $3, $5, or more. The new location offers a ton of parking as it's by supermarkets and other stores. The clerks are not very present though, there are only a few and hard to find, also there's a strict no refund policy. The quality of product is surprisingly good for such a cheap price. For example, my $2.50 IPhone car charger is still good after 2 years without any noticeable difference in charging efficiency. This is definitely a place where you can spend quite a bit of time browsing and go home with a ton of stuff for a good price. read more

I went into the store just before closing, with 7 minutes to spare, basically to see if they carry what I was looking for, and perfectly willing to return next week to decide on it. 7 minutes would have been plenty of time, if I'd been met with any kind of welcome. However, the officious lady shouted loudly that there were only 7 minutes left before they closed. Two minutes later, she was making a loudspeaker announcement that customers had better bring their purchases and pay before 9 pm because they close at 9. So I abandoned my plans and went to check out asap. She was still making her announcement in Chinese, for the benefit of the one customer there (me), and when I put my purchases down in front of her, she announced that I had to pay at another place at the counter, where there was no one to help me. When I was driving out of the parking lot, after 9, the staff was still there. I see that another reviewer had an even worse experience. Sorry, lady, but my view of Daiso has changed. Don't expect Japan's great customer service here. It doesn't exist here. read more

This is one of the better Daisos in the area. It's not very crowded. It's usually clean and organized. And there's lots of easy parking on the second level. Customer service is hit and miss. read more

Oh Daiso. I didn't know I needed a butter knife with a happy face engraved into it, until I saw it on someone's Instagram and became obsessed with finding it. After 3 Daisos, I found it here. Now that I sound like a crazy person, I will tell you why Daiso is a shop I frequent: 1. Cheap cleaning supplies - bath sponges, toilet swishers, kitchen sponges. I am aware that the 99cent store offers similar products, but do they have cute shaped ones? Nope. 2. Snacks. Yes, you have to read the package to check expiration dates. Glico galore - Pocky, Lucky, Hi-Chew.... basic Japanese snacks, but good nonetheless. 3. Cheap ceramics - I buy these to use as actual dishes and jewelry holders, catchalls, candle holders, succulent planters. So many uses! 4. Stocking stuffers & random gifts up the wazoo 5. Gems - these include the toner dispenser that has been very useful for me, charcoal scent removers, toilet seat covers, 0.38 gel pens and this weird clay stuff that my nephews love playing with - better than Playdoh. Large parking lot here and much more selection than the Daiso on Rosemead. read more

The cleanliness of this store and how great the prices are make this store so easy to want to buy from! I could of easily bought $25 dollars worth of items that are useful to the household! read more

First time at the store customer service - they have none , Long wait for one cashier to ring you up. 8 to 10 people in line Ask if they had any other cashier? No was her answer. Go to the 99 cent store you will be happier read more

This location has a good selection of items to choose from. Store is nicely lit and parking is plentiful. Employees are very helpful. Had a question in locating an item in the store and saw an Asian female associate. She was very helpful and led me to the location to find what I was looking for. read more

I've been to 4 different Daiso Japan location in the last 2 months. The one in Monterey Park by Elac, the other one by the AMC, the temple city location & this one in Arcadia. This one is the best one! I couldn't find it at first, but it's on the top level, park up there and you'll see it right away. Reasons why it's the best, it's stock with a lot more stuff than the others, plus friendly staff. Also, A LOT of parking space. Will Come back soon! read more

This Daiso is small but they have a lot of selection and so many new things seen on Instagram. If you come when they are stocking new items they will offer you a box to help you carry your items which I thought was nice. read more

Yessss! Daiso is here to stay as they keep expanding and opening more branches in the sgv. Some locations bigger than others but all nearly close together in location distance. I would die without daiso. It's cheap, has actual useful things, and did I mention perfectly cute ???! I love Japan for its cute things and I have to always ask myself if I need something "does daiso have it ? Probably. ". Because I want all my useful items to be cute for half the price. There's everything here from gifts, holiday decor, housewares, makeup And hair accessories. Even though they replaced Jo Anne fabrics, you can always get cute craft supplies here too. read more

It's daiso! What's there not to love. This location doesnt carry as much as the other locations, but it's sufficient enough. Services are always excellent ^~^ also they have a huge parking lot. read more

The store is neat. For some reason, I feel strange about how the store has organized their products. I had used more time to find my items in this branch. read more

I love this spot. I have a thing for small Japanese towels and their selection is the largest I've seen anywhere outside Japan. Ample parking and the staff is very helpful. read more

This is typically my happy place, it was hotter inside than outside which was 98 degrees. When paying for my items I let the girl at the counter know and she ignored me the first time and was rude the second time. Sorry you have to work, but a better attitude would be appreciated Daiso employee with the nasty attitude. I'll continue to have a good day! read more

Holy crap, this place is cool. So many fun things under one roof. Flowered wastebaskets, doll furniture, cute bowls with animals on them, stationary with funny non-english sayings on them. LOVE it! read more

Place is okay but the only problem is the manager..? I just went to this Daiso to get a cup, and by the time i was in the line to pay theres a lady who asked the manager for a stuff but, her answer was like: Ohh I'm sorry, could you just ask the employee...? Because Im in hurry for my lunch time and blah blah blah. I was like are you really supposed to do that to a customer like that...? Only because you need to go to lunch hour and you need to say something like that to them...? Where is your respect for a customer, next time please your respect to all the customer you have, if you cant dont even bother to be a manager!!! read more

I was so happy to discover this Daiso! They are a decently sized store well-stocked with typical Daiso items. I always come here to get basic room storage needs (pen holder, small boxes, etc)... and my stationary needs for snail-mailing my friends! They have a great gel pen selection for great prices, and their stationary sets are completely adorable. Best of all, everything is $1.50 unless otherwise marked! read more

Awesome, many useful things and good quality! Unlike the dollar store where is cheap quality things, this place is a gem

Dont expect to be greeted when you walk in. Why they are allowed to sell expired food is beyond me. I will go to another location to see if it's any different. read more

Everything is cheap here my daughter likes going here to buy a bunch of things all the time.
