I found 6 pieces of Dick Cheese in my Reese's Peanut butter blizzard I am so grossed out and it smelt terrible.

DaIrY QuEeN is like not all that anymore,might as well just go to the store and buy your own icecream and all the stuff you want to add because they no longer have the german choclate blizzard,no hotfudge brownie delight,and the one they have that does have brownies in it,has brownies so darm tiny that you finish it in one bite! They dont use gloves,and the price on icecream cakes is just too much! What happened to the slushies with icecream in them? What happened to the orange julious? Just too many oreo cookie items and wheres the rootbeer floats? If i owned that place for sure the german choclate blizzard would still be made! That was the best.they dont even have recepie anymore.i asked for it and the person was like duuuuh ! This is the epitomy of sad..... I ordered a box of Peanut Buster Bars. The ice cream layers were crystalline and not at all creamy. More like low fat ice milk. I hope that the downturn in economy since COVID hasn't made it impossible for these businesses to recover and thrive. DQ should be a gathering place in th communities we live in!!! One DQ in town has had the sewer dug up and a project ongoing for months. All locations here (three that I've seen ) have the same small square footage & flat roof with maybe only a couple small tables if that. Then I drove by today and saw this message below the DQ signage. My hometown DQ was a STELLAR example of everything right about the establishment of a business and how it becomes a destination, not just for today but for decades. Not merely for customers but for young job seekers and energetic youth developing their people and process skills and their college saving funds. A DQ can be a gathering place after parades, ball games, and graduations! Babies to Geriatric family members ought to build memories around first dilly bar and last banana split. Great stop for icecream in yuma. The service was fast and friendly. What i love about a franchise is you know what you are going to get from experiences at other locations and this did not disappoint. Note that the area inside is quite small. We did go in but didn't stay because there was a steady flow of customers. read more

Family night out...with a sweet tooth to boot! We hit up our favorite DQ for some sundaes and banana split. Inside, its pretty crowded with 2 small tables but whatever...they have decent drive-thru service. I get a sweet, familiar feeling everytime we come here so I don't mind the cramped quarters. It's worth the inconvenience. read more

Went last night with my nana for a little date. She has been here before and I haven't so while I'm visiting we went. The ice cream I got was good she got a chocolate shake and we took a banana shake Home for my papa. The girl serving us was rude and rude when my nana was trying to explain what she wanted which I thought wasn't ok. Elderly have a harder time explaining things and being rude and talking down to them isn't ok with me especially when it comes to my nana. So the attitude issue ruined it for me. They are lucky our items came out good or else I would have made a complaint then. read more

Not sure what's going on at this location, but we waited over 30 minutes in the drive-thru for 3 items. When finally to the window, there was no apology for the wait, or anything. We will not return to this obviously understaffed Dairy Queen. I'm hoping the issue is resolved since summer is almost here! read more

First of all, the place smells bad. I don't know what it is but it smelled like dirty mop water or something else. We love Dairy Queen. 3 Turtle Pecan Cluster Blizzards and one Heath Blizzard later, as the four of us were sitting inside at one of their tables... we noticed the same bad smell that was pointed out by a previous Yelper about a year ago. I do wish AZ had Health Inspection ratings the way CA does. And I wish the DQ company cared enough to check on and upgrade their locations. The paved driveway that is the exit, is barely wide enough for two cars. It has to accommodate the drive-through line and those trying to exit the lot at the same time. Out of the three places in Yuma (that we know of) this is is best of the three. Doubt we will be back here any time soon. Man I hate giving lesser reviews to a business I love. read more

So disappointed in this place. Every time I come to Yuma we go and it's always way understaffed, slow and disorganized. We ordered 6 blizzards and they were made verrrry slowly (it's melting ice cream ya know) and then no flip over to show us they were thick and mixed correctly. Needless to say they would have fallen out for sure as they were a milky mess when we got them home. Other DQ's are better prepared with people in the back whipping up blizzards and others taking orders and making cones and sundaes. They have two girls doing EVERYTHING with no help. 5 cars in line and 5 people inside waiting. This is a regular occurrence in the summer but this is a cold winter night !! read more

Obviously this place is open with people enjoying ice cream inside. We pull up and waiting at the window to place our order, waited 10 mins and no one to take our order. We finally pull off and someone decides to show their face. Little too late. Lesson learned, don't go to DQ while in Yuma. Wait till you are out of the city for some good service read more

Three times I went in and ordered a blizzard with EXTRA butterfinger, and three times I couldn't even tell there was Butterfinger in it....maybe they made it NEXT to a Butterfinger, or waved a Butterfinger spoon over it but there wasn't any in it!! Save your money and don't go to this Dairy Queen....cheap...skimpy...budget. Funny thing is that they forgot the Butterfinger but they didn't forget to charge me for it.... Terrible service and poorly made blizzards. Their signs states that they don't participate in turning blizzards upside down and it's clear why. When I asked the employee to remake the sloppy mess she either remade a much smaller one or simply dumped off the melted ice cream. Employees don't really seem to care either. read more

I love this dairy queen its my favorite one. But my one and only problem is the employees and not just one but all of them. This being said i went once like 3 weeks ago and i had one bad experience the guy while making my blizzard and my girl friends blizzard i saw the employees eat some chocolate from the containers then added some on our blizzard. The 2nd one was yesterday i went and the guy literally gave me attitude just by the way he was looking at me like litterally with a straight rude face i asked him what i wanted and said okay. He handed my two blizzards they didnt add the fillings in the middle. Plus my cup had a hole. I didnt noticed till i was leaving. Anyways the employees are the ones that give me attitude. read more

Staff was pleasant, courteous and prompt. Site was older but well kept and the restrooms clean. I was able to take a break from the road and heat while enjoying a Butterfinger Blizzard. While I am not local I would frequent this location again. read more
