    Chocolate dipped chocolate cone

I always come here for a chocolate dipped cone and the crunch is so good! As you can see sometimes the cone is not consistent but still very yummy. I noticed the sanitation score here is a 90.5 as of Aug 17 so be aware. Other than this this location is great!

    Peanut butter sauce? ‍

Just got my nostalgic peanut butter sundae and sadly was left disappointed. I worked at DQ all through HS so I know this is not DQ PB sauce. They had it before, but they don't any longer. This is more like the caramel and fudge toppings. Please bring back the OG PB DQ sauce that's squeezed from a ketchup bottle, smothering my DQ and I'll come back

For the past several months, every time we drive by it appears closed. Always dark inside, no exterior lights on, menu board not lit up, menu board in disrepair. Tried calling the store several times to confirm it was open, and no response. Finally decided to chance it when we drove by and saw a car sitting at the darkened drive-thru, and what do you know they actually were open. Received a half-filled cup for my Medium blizzard. Asked why the store was so dark, with no real explanation. We sat out in the parking lot as we ate our ice cream and watched quite a few cars drive by, slow down, look to see how dark it was, and continue on without stopping. Does this location even want to be in business? Losing customers left and right, including us now.

Comparing cone sizes. Red is medium. Orange is large.

Visited today. A person who had previously gotten their Blizzard came back to the counter and noted that they didn't have much toppings. The staff was trying to be helpful, I suppose, when they added more toppings to the person's half-eaten cup and then remixed it in the Blizzard machine. They then made several more Blizzards immediately after... without sanitizing the machine. Even after we pointed this out to them, they continued to make more Blizzards on the unclean machine. Secondarily, I ordered a large chocolate cone. My wife ordered a medium. The cones have color-coded rings on the paper sleeves. Mine came in the same sized cone as my wife's (and you can see the size difference just looking a the bottom of the cone from behind the counter)... and when asked, they said it was a large. So I've also now not gotten what I paid for.

Just crumbs, no chunks whatsoever. Very poor value

The prices at this location are absolutely absurd. I ordered a mini Reese's peanut butter cup blizzard and the total was $5.20, for a MINI! For those who have never gotten one, a mini is only a little larger than a shot glass. I absolutely cannot believe they are charging that for such a small portion!! And the blizzard only had crumbs in it, don't even think I got a quarter of a Reese's in it. Extremely overpriced!

Whoever owns this franchise should be ashamed. Always closed for down machines. Ice cream super soft most of the times. Poor service.

The girl Grace took my order, then proceeded to be scooping the wrong ice-cream for my husband's milkshake (who is home recovering from surgery and wanted a milkshake). Then Grace disappears for about 5 minutes or so. Now mind you I had also had already waited in line for about 25 minutes. I am disabled and still went out to get my husband a milkshake. We'll after waiting for Grace to come back. She tells me that they are out of milkshake lids and no more milkshakes. They didn't announce it to everyone, just me. They could have used a soda lid. So now she messed up on the flavor of the milkshake and now no milkshakes supposedly. Then she had the nerve to tell the owner that I yelled at her and slammed their door when I left. It was freaking hot outside and in the heat, doors expand and makes it harder to close. So give me a break! They never have managers there either. My family and I have been coming there for at least 4 years. And now after I get this holier than thou message from supposedly the owner. They have definitely lost my business. I don't need lies told to me or religion down my throat. Here is the message from the Owner to me: "Hello Jennifer, I've taken some time to ponder over your message before responding. Our little business means the world to me and we never aim to do anything that will make people unhappy and ultimately nothing that would make God unhappy with us. Last night I received a message from the girls at the shop that they had run out of milkshake lids and a customer had slammed the door and left. I quickly responded with several suggestions of what they might have done to prevent that because, as I mentioned, we aim to please! I was disappointed that they hadn't, in the moment, seen another solution. Then I got your message and my perception of the situation shifted. It is heartbreaking to hear that someone who professes to be regular supporters of our business would vow to never return over one negative experience. Of course we wanted you to be able to enjoy a sweet treat especially in times of sickness and recovery, that's what we are here for! I've spoken with Grace and in her words she was "shaken up" and "wished she had thought of a solution sooner." To which I responded, "It's hard to problem solve when you're being yelled at." And that's what it comes down to, doesn't it? I don't know of many people how are able to see a clear soluntion to a problem when they are being yelled at, especially children. The message that you are presenting to the world on your FB page is Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you. And Never Judge anyone till you know all the facts. It is my opinion that in a moment of weakness you forgot to live by those words. I'm sorry for your trials. I have them too! You are not perfect and neither am I. Should I have been better stocked with milkshake lids, absolutely! Should you have treated others with more kindess, 100%! Things could have gone differently last night. I believe that you could have made it home with that milkshake for your husband if you had had just a bit of grace for Grace." Instead of solving the situation, the owner made it look like it was my fault they were out of lids and that it was my fault for everything. Excuse me? No as a worker at an establishment, you find solutions. Grace chose to work there. I didn't yell and I didn't slam the damn door. Unless the owner was there, NEVER MAKE ASSUMPTIONS AND THE OWNER HAD NO RIGHT THROWING RELIGION IN MY FACE!!

I think the water was like $2.00. I handed the attendant over a $20.00 bill and walked off. I got a ways off before I realized I had walked off without getting my change. I went back to the stand and explained that I had exchanged a $20 for the bottle of water and needed my change back. The attendant listened to my account of the event, and then informed me that she couldn't be sure that I had given her a $20.00 or not, wondered aloud how she was supposed to know I wasn't try to scam her, and that she would not return $18.00 from my alleged change. She said to call to the store to see if the drawer was over $18.00 I called the store on Monday. The manager said they didn't even know what I was talking about. $18.00 to a 19 year old kid who lives off a 35/40 hour minimum wage job, on their own, is a fortune. Do you have any idea how many forties that is? I have never forgotten that Scoops representative's cynicism towards humanity. How was she supposed to know I wasn't trying to scam her? I dunno, how am I supposed to know every stranger I pass by isn't some scumbag who will lie, cheat, steal, assault their way to the top--handful of eighteen dollars by handful of eighteen dollars? How am I supposed to know if everyone I don't know personally isn't trying to screw me over randomly, and so elaborately? Maybe that Scoops representative was right--human beings ARE nasty and brutish AND it is safe to assume so when dealing with their customers. It makes me sad to think that is true, but hey, according to that Scoops representative, that is life. That bottle of water was good though.
