Trying a new ice cream place
    Samantha B.

Great experience! Had a slight line that went really quickly. The staff was super friendly. I got the strawberry shortcake sundae which is 10/10 on flavor! The vanilla tastes very rich and the whipped cream was really good. The shortcake tasted fresh as well. I will definitely be back

Two scoop waffle bowl with cake batter and mint chocolate chip and sprinkles

First visit and we will definitely be back. Long line on a Sunday night but it moved quickly. The flavor choices were good and there are many topping options. We ordered waffle bowls with two scoops each and sprinkles. Ice cream was delicious - the death by chocolate is so chocolate-y, cake batter was so good and the waffle bowls tasted great! The store seemed mostly run by teenagers, who were all very professional and very polite. We will definitely return to Bruster's!

We love this place! It's further away than a Goodberry's but totally worth the few extra minutes. The prices are really awesome, if your shorter than 40" you get a free baby cone. The kids working there are always so nice and helpful. You can try any kind of ice cream you want! They have several flavors and so many mixes to choose from. They have waffle bowls, cones & all sizes of cups. Pictures is a peanut butter sundae, normally comes in a waffle cup but I wanted mine a little smaller, it was delicious!!!

My swim team visited Bruster's after a swim meet and had a great time. We called ahead of time to make them aware that we were coming and the staff were definitely prepared to accommodate a large group. The cheerful employees had multiple windows open to take orders and were very friendly. The orders were made quickly and accurately. I ordered a waffle cone with cookie craze ice cream. The waffle cone was amazing but I was not a fan of the cookie craze ice cream. It tasted good but my scoop barely had any cookie chunks/cookie dough in it. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their ice cream and they have numerous options to choose from. We sang happy birthday to one of the swimmers on the team turning 7 and afterwards Bruster's gave him a free gift (a Bruster's hat and t-shirt)! This was unexpected and really sweet of the employees. Due to this great experience, I would definitely recommend this establishment and visit again!

Free ice cream for the wee ones.

Yummy ice cream cake. Been a while having one with actual cake in it. Fudge layer is recommended!

The Peanut Butter Rocky Road was to die for! My daughter enjoyed the Strawberry Toffee crunch- you wouldn't think these flavors of strawberry and toffee would go together- but they were a match made in heaven! The Mr. had his standby favorite- Coffee Bourbon, which he tells me is always a stellar delight. With the outdoor tables there is ample seating, and the string lights make the ambiance both family friendly, and somehow romantic for a date at the same time. You will see families of different sizes, multi-generational, and couples on dates. Leashed dogs are not only welcome, but encouraged. The service is consistently good, and it is clear that these folks enjoy their jobs! They take their time answering questions about flavors, allergens, and flavor combinations, and still manage to move the line rapidly. Check out Two Roosters! If there's a wait, it's worth it. If you find yourself visiting rather than picking up ice cream from the grocery store, don't blame me! It's that good!

The girl Grace took my order, then proceeded to be scooping the wrong ice-cream for my husband's milkshake (who is home recovering from surgery and wanted a milkshake). Then Grace disappears for about 5 minutes or so. Now mind you I had also had already waited in line for about 25 minutes. I am disabled and still went out to get my husband a milkshake. We'll after waiting for Grace to come back. She tells me that they are out of milkshake lids and no more milkshakes. They didn't announce it to everyone, just me. They could have used a soda lid. So now she messed up on the flavor of the milkshake and now no milkshakes supposedly. Then she had the nerve to tell the owner that I yelled at her and slammed their door when I left. It was freaking hot outside and in the heat, doors expand and makes it harder to close. So give me a break! They never have managers there either. My family and I have been coming there for at least 4 years. And now after I get this holier than thou message from supposedly the owner. They have definitely lost my business. I don't need lies told to me or religion down my throat. Here is the message from the Owner to me: "Hello Jennifer, I've taken some time to ponder over your message before responding. Our little business means the world to me and we never aim to do anything that will make people unhappy and ultimately nothing that would make God unhappy with us. Last night I received a message from the girls at the shop that they had run out of milkshake lids and a customer had slammed the door and left. I quickly responded with several suggestions of what they might have done to prevent that because, as I mentioned, we aim to please! I was disappointed that they hadn't, in the moment, seen another solution. Then I got your message and my perception of the situation shifted. It is heartbreaking to hear that someone who professes to be regular supporters of our business would vow to never return over one negative experience. Of course we wanted you to be able to enjoy a sweet treat especially in times of sickness and recovery, that's what we are here for! I've spoken with Grace and in her words she was "shaken up" and "wished she had thought of a solution sooner." To which I responded, "It's hard to problem solve when you're being yelled at." And that's what it comes down to, doesn't it? I don't know of many people how are able to see a clear soluntion to a problem when they are being yelled at, especially children. The message that you are presenting to the world on your FB page is Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you. And Never Judge anyone till you know all the facts. It is my opinion that in a moment of weakness you forgot to live by those words. I'm sorry for your trials. I have them too! You are not perfect and neither am I. Should I have been better stocked with milkshake lids, absolutely! Should you have treated others with more kindess, 100%! Things could have gone differently last night. I believe that you could have made it home with that milkshake for your husband if you had had just a bit of grace for Grace." Instead of solving the situation, the owner made it look like it was my fault they were out of lids and that it was my fault for everything. Excuse me? No as a worker at an establishment, you find solutions. Grace chose to work there. I didn't yell and I didn't slam the damn door. Unless the owner was there, NEVER MAKE ASSUMPTIONS AND THE OWNER HAD NO RIGHT THROWING RELIGION IN MY FACE!!

I think the water was like $2.00. I handed the attendant over a $20.00 bill and walked off. I got a ways off before I realized I had walked off without getting my change. I went back to the stand and explained that I had exchanged a $20 for the bottle of water and needed my change back. The attendant listened to my account of the event, and then informed me that she couldn't be sure that I had given her a $20.00 or not, wondered aloud how she was supposed to know I wasn't try to scam her, and that she would not return $18.00 from my alleged change. She said to call to the store to see if the drawer was over $18.00 I called the store on Monday. The manager said they didn't even know what I was talking about. $18.00 to a 19 year old kid who lives off a 35/40 hour minimum wage job, on their own, is a fortune. Do you have any idea how many forties that is? I have never forgotten that Scoops representative's cynicism towards humanity. How was she supposed to know I wasn't trying to scam her? I dunno, how am I supposed to know every stranger I pass by isn't some scumbag who will lie, cheat, steal, assault their way to the top--handful of eighteen dollars by handful of eighteen dollars? How am I supposed to know if everyone I don't know personally isn't trying to screw me over randomly, and so elaborately? Maybe that Scoops representative was right--human beings ARE nasty and brutish AND it is safe to assume so when dealing with their customers. It makes me sad to think that is true, but hey, according to that Scoops representative, that is life. That bottle of water was good though.
