My kids and I have been going here for years and we love it! It's our favorite place to get ice cream. I love how the flavors change all the time. It's great trying the different ones. The staff are always friendly and helpful if you're having a hard time deciding on what to get. They also have shakes and other frozen treats if ice cream isn't your thing. One thing to keep in mind is that this is an outside shop so there's no indoor seating. There is plenty of shaded seating outside though. read more

Stopped at Bruster's to pick up a few pints of icecream for family. Brock took care of me. She filled the pints with love snd care. The icecream was delicious. My son and I wanted ice cream and I found this place via Yelp and since we weren't too far away we decided to give it a try. The prices aren't too bad about the average ice cream shop prices. They have a variety of flavors to choose from along with seasonal ones. My son opted for the cotton candy explosion which he loved and I tried the Mango dragonfruit sorbet which was light and refreshing. Quick tips: sign up for the rewards program ($3 reward just for signing up) and if your child(ren) are under so many inches (I forget the exact number) they receive a free cone. This shop had me waiting for 10 minutes to order ice cream. I was behind a lady her mom and two small children. A man with a young child walked up to the counter and started ordering. We love this place! It's further away than a Goodberry's but totally worth the few extra minutes. The prices are really awesome, if your shorter than 40" you get a free baby cone. This Bruster's is conveniently located near my house and it's oh so delicious! The young staff are always on point and extremely friendly. It's a busy location but they keep the line moving with a quickness. We discovered they make ice cream Oreo cookie sandwiches made to order. Which is amazing because you can get any of their scrumptious flavors in between two giant Oreo cookies. The only downfall is they only make them in packs of six. Or I guess that could be a good thing too! It will set you back about $10. It's a pretty good deal considering for one waffle cone with a scoop of ice cream is $3.79 + tax. They offer sugar free ice cream, Italian ice, sherbert, sorbet, and frozen yogurt as well! read more

My swim team visited Bruster's after a swim meet and had a great time. We called ahead of time to make them aware that we were coming and the staff were definitely prepared to accommodate a large group. The cheerful employees had multiple windows open to take orders and were very friendly. The orders were made quickly and accurately. I ordered a waffle cone with cookie craze ice cream. The waffle cone was amazing but I was not a fan of the cookie craze ice cream. It tasted good but my scoop barely had any cookie chunks/cookie dough in it. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their ice cream and they have numerous options to choose from. We sang happy birthday to one of the swimmers on the team turning 7 and afterwards Bruster's gave him a free gift (a Bruster's hat and t-shirt)! This was unexpected and really sweet of the employees. Due to this great experience, I would definitely recommend this establishment and visit again! read more

In general we love Bruster's. We enjoy real ice cream hard enough to put in a cone and the free puppy cone is a sweet family outing. That said our most recent visit was a real bust!!! The ice cream in my waffle cone was a soupy mess that was impossible to eat and thus a waste of $$. The server should have said the flavor wasn't hard enough for a cone!!! I guess I should've read the 2 star review regarding shakes don't have the same taste as ice cream itself (Instead I visited this place for the first time because of a review stating "this place is better than Goodberry's " which is my favorite place). I never had the ice cream but I believe it should taste the same, right? Shakes are made out of ice cream with a little milk, I'm not sure why it would make a difference. I ordered an Oreo Shake (with extra Oreos). I'm not sure if the milk to ice cream ratio is an issue here but it tasted like more ice, than cream. It tasted like frozen milk, there was no flavor at all even with the extra Oreos (which they also skimmed on). I only visit ice cream shops for the shakes, with my bad experience along with another reviewer verifying how bad the shakes are, this will be my last visit. At around 7:30pm on 5/27, my husband ordered a chocolate shake to go and I ordered a waffle bowl with chocolate peanut butter and graham central station ice cream with whipped cream to go. I then returned to the car while my husband waited for order because I'm disabled and needed to sit. What I received was a waffle bowl so full of ice cream that the lid didn't fit, and it was filled with some kind of blueberry ice cream under the graham central station. Yuck. The outside is always clean, the inside always appears to be clean and tidied up, the kids are always cheerful and patient and helpful. I just had a couple of frustrating experiences at Brusters on Durant Rd with A. Patel. I have been to this Bruster's for years without a problem. On Saturday 11/28 I asked A. Patel to put in my rewards number. He said it was too late but he gave me two coupon booklets. I realized when I got home that the coupons were expired. I went back to Bruster's today 11/30 and A. Patel told me he would still honor the coupons until the first of the month. Tomorrow is the first of the month.  I used an any size Waffle Cone BOGO coupon. I ordered two-scoops of ice cream in a waffle for the initial purchase and ordered a two-scoop waffle cone as the BOGO. A. Patel charged me for a four-scoop BOGO (8 scoops) when I really got a two-scoop (four scoop total). Why couldn't he understand his coupons? Instead of arguing, I paid for the four-scoop BOGO. However, I've been to this location about 3 times and each time our order is wrong in some way because the employees make no effort to try and hear our order or confirm that they have it right before rushing back to make our ice cream..incorrectly. I think Bruster's ice cream is pretty good. I like the seasonal flavors like caramel apple crunch (more cinnamony with crunchy clusters) and deep dish apple pie (more apple-y). I was hoping the pumpkin would be more of a pumpkin cinnamon flavor, but it's more of a pure pumpkin flavor. They rotate flavors here, so if you go one day and they don't have what you want, try again. read more
